Staff wasn't helpful, charged twice for my room, parked a mile and a half away and paid double the guaranteed parking price
bad for public-transportation
Quick turnaround of a cigarette unnoticed bad problem left behind by previous discourteous quest
The place seem run down.
close to dockland area
isolated from restaurants, and transport to downtown boston, expect an older well worn hotel, noisy ,etc
it was supposedly fairly inexpensive until they charged my card 3 times for the same room.
I ended up paying $333 for a $111 room.
Walking distance to the water and the ferry which takes you right down town. Good restaurants close by.
Old furniture. Bathroom out of date.
Lack of information given by the earlier staff at the reception desk regarding parking. We checked in @3;30pm Sunday.Got the map to go to garage nearby and parked our car.cck to reception ,asked about how to settle parking ,stamped ticket.Went up and settled in our room.About 11/2 hour later went out to go out to dinner. Can't get in garage, already closed for the day. Walked back to hotel, evening staff informed us we could have just parked right by the hotel's side street, since it is Sunday. Spoiled our plan for our only night stay in Boston and still not familiar with the area to walk, already dark (got further delayed due to Fire alarm in the hotel as we came back to our room to figure out our way around town)
The hotel was clean staff very friendly and helpful and the grandkids loved the pool
It was not a walk to Quincey market you need to find transportation we walk there but took a cab back which was 10 dollars
The room was spacious and the bed comfortable
The sloping ceiling resulted in my bumping my head a few times. There was a kitchen but no utensils.Reception was shared with the YMCA which lowered the whole tone. There were no windows other than skylights
Staff friendliness, comfort of the bed, the fitness facilities, close proximity to shuttle (into Boston/TD Garden) & the water taxi (to Boston Harbour)
The location (using the ferries) and price by Boston standards. Although there is no dining facilities available there is a good supermarket close plus some really good and reasonably priced restaurants.
Although really the bathroom had been cleaned mould was setting in on some damaged areas of the walls and around the bath.
Size of rooms, decoration, cleanliness, excellent wifi, friendly and helpful staff
Parking in front of hotel limited, very few restaurants in walking distance
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff; large comfortable room with flat screen tv and kitchenette; free fast wifi; great gym and pool; close to shop and ferry to Boston downtown; well priced
Gym wasn't open evenings on weekends, no breakfast, ferry to city on weekends only runs from 10am-6pm
Location next to the harbour
Old and dirty Hotel, the furnitures are trash, the carpet was dirty, the bath is too small and dirty, we found socks under the bed that did not belong to us, the Price was high but the quality really poor, spend 50 Dollar more and enjoy your stay in Boston
Even though the walls were made of brick you could hear every noise in the place. Also didn't like that the parking was not next to the building, (about a 5 minute walk). The AC was turned off for the season. So the room was very hot even with the heat off. Had to have the window open to cool things off.
the staff was very nice
it's run down. it looks dirty. it's noisy- especially if you're near the YMCA.
Relatively cheap accommodation and room size and King bed very good
A little isolated from downtown Boston.15 min walk to get to North End. Construction noise outside commenced prior to 7.30 am
Free wifi and friendly front desk staff
Owned by ymca. Room was a wornout studio apartment probably used for long- term rental, poor lighting, missing bulbs, no breakfast, parking 3 blocks away, must take bus to subway and taxi back at night, very little nearby open at night, Naval yard only open on weekends
Colonial Motel was a most convenient central point for our trip to the White Mountains.
Location to the city, Our room on second phase of stay with you was a lot better, it had a kitchen facility. Staff were always helpful We would recommend it to friends and family if asked but with a few howevers!
You was the most expensive accom of our holiday, against, Best Western, Days Inn & motel suites. (Covering 4 States and 2,400 miles), simply having readily available coffee from your the lobby would have been great. Breakfast was on offer to certain groups, how about all your guests? It proved an invaluable asset to us in all the other Accommodations we stayed in.
location was wonderful!
Fast wifi Nice quiet location.
A kitchen without plates and cutlery. We had to pay a $30 deposit which was a lot given the price of the hotel. The room was a bit scruffy.
Reasonably placed to access tourist items of main downtown Boston.Nice large bed.
No cafe, etc in hotel, limited but good local facilities for food.Room I had didn't have a kitchen as described;only fridge, microwave and coffee machine
Hotel was fine - in a good location to do the Heritage Freedom Trail backwards. Boston was a great place. Nice people
The room didn't have any facilities in the kitchen like dishes , cutlery etc.. The building lift was super slow.
