Tomales Bay and the Continental Hotel are charming. The accommodations are spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel is very historical and there is fun history to read next door at the William Tell restaurant and bar. Pretty drive to the beach with yummy oyster joints.

We felt the hotel should have had at least coffee available in the morning. It's only provided on weekends

    Clean room, friendly staff.

Considering the room cost ($275) a night, would have expected better accomodations.

Nice size, clean room with separate sitting area. Bakery and deli across the street- don't forget your $5 coupon for the bakery! Plates and flatware in room with great coffee.

Nicely furnished rooms. Friendly staff. Tasty continental breakfast on weekends.

Noise from motorcyclists visiting nearby restaurant. Their noise was deafening. Hated it. Came for nice peaceful getaway and had to put up with that!

location was great .bed was comfy. (except there was only a very heavy comforter. it was too hot)I used the bedspread..

only saw one staff person as they were leaving, I think she might have even been the maid. You let yourself in and out with a code. Could not get the direct TV to work(we have one at home) no wifi. the breakfast looked awful and there was no where nice anyway to sit, so we went across the street.Too expensive for this type of accommodation. really a do it yourself spot.

Very clean and simple! Here is your front door code your key and your room. My wife and I will stay there again.

The bed was a little harder than I like.

I liked the easiness of the booking and checking in with the door code; the overall decor of the Inn and our room; the quietness of the other guests; the morning coffee and pastry; and the in-room fireplace. I never saw staff but that was not a problem.

I liked the easy check-in. Door code emailed ahead of time. Didn't have to worry about late arrival or the hotel rebooking room. The hotel was adorable and comfortable. Was just what I needed!

Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Questions were answered well when staff was available, but for the most part staff was not available. We arrived early and were accommodated for entrance. The door code is a good idea.

Little orientation to what was available at the inn, i.e. coffee in the morning. We were weekday guests, so there was no continental breakfast, only juice and milk and no coffee the first day.

the location was central to other nearby small towns and places to visit - made getting around very easy

the staff was not easily accessible and NEVER covered the front desk - that was a bit weird - And we came and went several times during the day and evening Could not find them or reach them upon exiting hotel?

We liked everything about the Inn. It was well located for our needs. It was quaint and had a very homey B&B feel to it. It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant the staff recommended, Nicks Cove, was excellent and only 3 miles away. The continental breakfast was fresh and ample.

The staff leaves for the night around 6 or 7, so if you need anything you're kind of on your own but we didn't have any issues that needed to be attended to so we were fine.
