many cockroaches inside the hotel, and even rooms, I saw cockroaches everywhere, I killed 4 of them inside my room, bad smell, dirty. |

i had my own bed room the bath room and toilet were dirty most of the time. there was a constant cooking smell in the entire compex of appartments i've used during my stay |

Becareful with the locker, normally 5 bucks for 24h. When the machine returns the ticket it adds automatic one more hour (ie 9am instead of 8am). Therefore, tomorrow when you come back at 8h30am, it means you passed to the new day and you have to pay more 5 bucks to get the stuffs out |

Hotel was what I expected. Price was cheap and location was good enough. 24H security brings nice safetyfeeling. Walls are very thin. bunkbeds makes a lot of noice when you move. they change sheats everyday but blankets are one big joke. They are more likely curtains from 90's so bring your own sleeping bag. especially wintertimes blankets could be very cold. There is free Wi-Fi which is nice but it doesn't work upstairs.. only in lobby and Loinge-room. |

Miniature room so that 2people could hardly fit in it, with nothing in it but a very small bed with dirty sheets, only 1bathroom for many rooms to use. |

The hostel is cheap, considering it's located in the upper west side of Manhattan. It's quiet and very safe. It's convenient, you're 5 minutes away from a subway that can get you everywhere and you're 10 minutes away from Central Park. Nice. What is not so cool about the hostel is that there is no parking at the hostel! They're saying that there's parking lots available... But there's 15 places for 250 persons... And it's on the street. Good luck. I had to pay 33$ per day, I had no other choice. Also, there's one shower/toilet per floor which is cleary not enough. |

The bathroom was pretty clean, and the shower had warm water. I am pretty sure that I was bitten by bed bugs there. I now have big red bites up the left side of my leg. My boyfriend and I stayed in a private room. Also, the tax is 14% so be prepared to spend a lot more money than the stated rate. They do not take credit or debit cards, so you need to have cash or travelers' checks. |
