Ideal localization for exploring Boston. Great selection of breakfasts!
The guest room (Deluxe King) was wonderful and clean. Refreshed property - definitely a true boutique hotel. The location is excellent. Eric (?) at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful.
We stayed during the Valentine's Day blizzard. Understandably, the hotel was short-staffed. The lounge, Minibar, was chilly and unwelcoming. The restaurant, Exhale, featured two unfriendly servers, and clearly not enough kitchen staff. My credit card kept declining ($420 authorized for a room bill of $360, made no sense) and then my debit card was accidentally authorized for the same amount ($420) to pay for a $40 breakfast bill..... Desk supervisor was unsympathetic.
Location. Very near to shopping mall. Choose it because it is opposite of copley place mall (100 Huntington Ave)
Heart of back bay. Comfortable bed.
No mini fridge in the room.
Great location , friendly staff. Bed was amazing, best pillows in boston.
Rooms were smaller than other hotels and the suite price was a big jump but besides that no complaints at all.
Helpful staff, easy access to the "T", late morning checkout requirements.
The mattress was dreamy and the room was well appointed. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I was in Boston for a two-day workshop and chose to stay at the Copley due to its rich history.
good service good price.
convenient and upscale location, spacious room, cleanliness, great bed, staff really trying hard to make clients happy, porters and valet for parking are extremely helpful and gracious,
Cozy hotel in a wonderful spot mid-Boston- Seems to be working out a few small kinks...room TV didn't work initially and there were no forms to order breakfast-- even after we called the front desk...but the manager came right up the next morning to make everything right and he credited us our in-room breakfast by way of apology for the kinks... They are really trying to make clients love their hotel...and we did! We happily recommend the Copley Square hotel.
The Copley Square was even nicer in person. It was modern yet somehow quaint. The staff was wonderful, our room was large and beautifully appointed...not your typical hotel room. The hotel was perfectly situated and there was an express bus from Logan airport that took us within two blocks of it..perfect!
We struggled with the WiFi connection in our room and our TV kept losing it's signal..both were attempted to be fixed...but unsuccessfully. We spent little time in our room so not a major problem.
No kettle, no mini bar, tv is outdated, you cant watch anything with less than standard definition, a tip for all, dont buy a movie becuz the quakity sucks, elavators r tricky
rooms too small, over heated, no coffee machines in the room, no frigs in the rooms, beds for a couple too small, and above all outragously expensive....we could have stayed in much better hotel and category with even less price....will not go there again....ever
The hotel is in a convenient location near high-end shops and the mall. A short walk or taxi ride gets you to some nice restaurants for an evening out. The rooms are nice but small ad should be expected in an old refurbished hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive.
The same location that makes it convenient also puts it in a noisy and hectic neighborhood. This is only an issue if you can't handle traffic noise and a crowd more and then.
I was so surprised by how new and clean the hotel was. The location was perfect. The rooms were a good size. The facilities were excellent. I would definitely go back.
The room was tight but comfortable, bed very comfortable
Bathroom vanity area super tiny hard to maneuver, no coffee in room and no coffee available during day only in morning if knew that ahead if time would not have stayed there esp for the price very inconvenient to leave hotel to find coffee during the day and evening
I liked the location
The hotel didn't have room service on the weekend. Bar was closed on Friday.
Very pleasant stay and staff were very friendly. Good location.
Water bottles in the room were not complimentary and charged £5 per bottle.
I'm a low-maintenance traveler, so my two-night stay at the Copley was great.
Everything was great except the bathroom was somewhat small/awkward. It's a small problem, literally.
The ideal location
No breakfast. A pretty small room. No welcoming coffee or tea in the room. And very expensive at that!
Very good location
Lifts very slow
There is a young gentleman car valet who greeted us and returned our car upon departure, he's studying nursing. He demonstrated the proper level of attentiveness and provided the highest quality of customer service.
We asked for a roll away bed for our child when booking the room. On the first night they said they had none left. The next morning we called, they said they would provide one while we were out. That evening staff told us it was a fire hazard. After much debate they were able to get a roll away from their hotel across the street. The room description states large enough for 3-4 guests. We could barely move and the hotel did not seem to care. As we were checking out and we were asked the customary quesiton "how was everything" we were honest and said, "not good". The person at the desk dismissed us.
Your staff was excellent! Everyone was friendly and helpful.
For the price, I thought it was not the best. The bathroom was extremely small; there was no place to put anything. Even a shelf somewhere would help. The air conditioning was so noisy, it woke us up when it came on and when we were awake, we had to keep adjusting the volume on the TV up and down to compensate. The pillows were very flat, so we had to use all of them and still didn't sleep that well.
The location was excellent. The hotel is old but renovated. Our room was very small and rather dark but quiet for the most part since it is at the back of the hotel. I suspect rooms at the front are noisy since on the street.
It is very expensive. Sound proofing is not the best particularly from above.
big bedroom and close to the train station. convenient
bathroom although refurbished was very dated and small.
