Convenient location. Warm and comfortable. Host is friendly and informative. I stayed in the Susitna room which is great but noisy in the morning as it's near the breakfast room so not good for a lie in so choose another for morning peace. Great place to stay and I'd definitely stay again.

You thought of all the amenities. Very clean and very comfortable. Excellent location. Lots of great history regarding the building.

The Copper Whale Inn was a very friendly and comfortable place to stay. We particularly liked the informal and relaxed atmosphere. It is also in a great location - right next to the Tony Knowles Trail, good views over Cook Inlet, and walking distance to everything in downtown Anchorage.

No Parking. The evening manager gave me a ticket that was supposed to get me out of the garage for free.. When I tried to use it 25 minutes later, the card was refused because it had expired. When I checked out, the day manager tried to collect $15 for the parking garage pass. When I told him that it had expired, he told me he knew that, blamed it on the parking garage firm and still wanted me to pay the $15, I refused. I tried to use the small ironing board, It was designed to be used on a table but there was no table big enoug for it. It didn't make any difference because there was a corroded rivet that stuck up about 1/4" right in the middle of it. When I tried to turn on the cold water in the sink, the handle came off in my hand.. When I told the day manager about these problems, he told me it must have just happened. THE RIVET WAS CORRODED! I don't blame the managers. It is the owners responsibility to staff these positions with with intelligent, trainable people and then check on them to be sure they know how to do the job correctly. In the case of the day manager, the boat was missed. I not only would not recommend this hotel, I will go out of my way to warn people not to stay there.

It was cozy and in a convenient location. They also had a fantastic breakfast!

Lovely room, spacious and clean with a comfy bed. Great continental breakfast spread each morning and very homely guest lounge area. Great views from the waterside windows too.

The carpet needs to be replaced, it was stained, dirty and ruined the look of the inn.

It was located near a good selection of restaurants and handy bike path with rentals on site. Wanted to bike, but just didn't have time. Two nice waterfalls and lots of flowers made the ambience quite pleasant! Kept our luggage for us when we arrived early. The queen bed was comfortable and the room very nice! Lotions of all kinds were supplied and very much appreciated.

We weren't given information regarding available parking and ended up paying for 24 hours when we were only there about 14 hours. The multiple steps were somewhat difficult with our heavy luggage. We were in a separate building. Seemed like a Holiday Inn continental breakfast. Although the fresh berries were a nice addition. Usually have a warm breakfast at a B&B.

Excellent location and very clean room. Bike rental shop right on site, making it easy to cruise the nearby Tony Knowles trail.

Excellent helpful friendly hosts, beautiful fruit salad and other breakfast choices from early to late. Free wifi plus all the essentials for a stopover. Beds were sooo comfortable. Lovely view of the water and binoculars supplied too.

Nice and comfortable, well located next to everything in Anchorage.

Street parking only; good thing that the parking meters are free from 1800-0900.

En verdad les digo que es un hotel muy comodo y desde el primer momento Nick nos atendio con mucha amabilidad y te hace sentir como en tu casa. Nos toco una habitacion con terraza donde pudimos disfrutar de la bella tarde y de la gente que baja hacia al parque que esta muy cerca del hotel. Nos ofrecieron un desayuno ligero antes de irnos muy sencillo pero preparado con carino y mas que suficiente, buen cafe por cierto.

Bueno a mi esposo y a mi nos parecio un poco costoso para lo que actualemte te ofrece el hotel, pero para una sola noche y con buena ubicacion y un desayuno no hay mas que pedir.
