we enjoyed our stay in the Coral Reef Inn. Nice facilities, clean and spacious rooms. The kitchen was good, but the kitchen utensils were not available (only in the guest kitchen), this was the only negative point about the Coral Reef Inn! |

It is very close to the Oakland airport. Easy access to the freeways as well. |

We enjoyed the freedom to come and go as we wished except for the room pass card problem, The domestic staff do an excellent job, the room was spotlessly clean despite showing signs of "tiredness" in places'. The Hotel/Motel is ideally situated with supermarket and stores and restaurants closely located. The close proximity of the beach was an added bonus Yes - we were locked out of our room by an alleged faulty pass card four times in three days - on one occasion the "handyman" had to break in through a window which did little for our confidence in the security of premises. Your elderly female receptionist with the dyed hair could benefit from a refresher course in customer care !! - see "hotel staff" above. |

Nice clean rooms, breakfast in lobby was nice, housekeeping staff was their to clean room and freshen up room everyday. Easy access to Napa Valley, San Francisco. Easy access to limo service to airport. It could be updated - ie: furniture, , it would have been nice to have newspapers available. |

The location is great since it is on the San Francisco Bay on the island of Alameda. When we arrived they did not have our reservations. This could have been a disaster if they were already fully booked. They were helpful in getting us a phone number to call Booking.com to sort it out. Unfortunately, the number on the confirmation from Booking.com did not work. |

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff was very friendly. when housekeeping cleaned our room in the morning, they took all the dirty towels but didn't return with clean ones until late afternoon. |

The price and location to food, shopping, gas, markets, etc. There was a young woman at the front desk who is either bored, hates her job, or is a Zombie. Very apathetic, indifferent, and not very friendly. Everyday I had to get new room keys because they would stop working every 24 hours. The in-room WiFi/and wired (high-speed) internet service was spotty, slow, or "vapor-net"! The tv reception is snowy on all the channels. However the price was great! |

Nice and simple, i would recommend it to any one The housekeeper do not know how to knock before coming in and should wait for request of anything form the guest before coming to the room... |

Sehr nettes Personal. Hatten im ersten Zimmer eine verstopfte Toilette und haben sofort ein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Die Räume sind sehr großzügig. Bad sauber, Bett bequem. Die Terasse mit Blick aufs Wasser war ebenfalls klasse. Leider waren in der Küche der Suite keinerlei Einrichtungsgegenstände, so dass wir für das mitgebrachte Frühstück noch Teller und Plastikbesteck besorgen mussten, um es genießen zu können. |

Die Lage ist wunderbar und die zum Wasser gelegenen Zimmer sind groß und wirklich schön. Das Continentale Frühstück war sehr gut! Die Mitarbeiter des Service (Frühstück und auch Zimmerservice) sind aufmerksam und freundlich. Die eingebaute Küche ist ordentlich und sauber. Über den Zimmerservice konnten (wir auf Anfrage) einige Küchenutensilien erhalten und somit auch die Küche nutzen. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption (Tagesschicht) war leider überhaupt nicht geschult und konnten einfache Gäste-Wünsche (z.B. Ausdruck einer PDF-Datei, Informationen zur Bus- und Ferrynutzung Richtung San-Francisco etc.) nicht erfüllen. Das Frühstück in der Eingangshalle konnte eigentlich nur im Stehen eingenommen werden, da es dort keine richtigen Essensplätze gab. |
