Price. Size of rooms. Neighborhood. Convenient to stores and freeway access.

Very, very dated. Needs some improvement in furnishings and decor.

Insufficient on-site night parking, no useful advice from desk clerk on alternatives (Don't park in mall lot across the street).

Disgusting facility - didn't feel comfortable, so worn down and gross. Had to use bath towels to cover the chair so I could sit down. Couldn't sleep as the bed was terrible and old. Didn't feel safe and didn't feel safe parking my car there. Didn't make the bed, didn't replenish the coffee, didn't provide cooking stuff and yet there is a full kitchen - had to get it from a communal area. Would never stay there or recommend it.

I liked the walking distance to supermarket, shops and restaurants. the rooms were large in size (I had 2 adjoining). the supplies for the kitchenettes were stored in an easy to get room. staff was very helpful with site seeing spots, directions & printing my groups boarding passes. very impressed with the whole place...it was beautifully maintained.

Everything was awesome especially when you have young children. Very family oriented!!!!! We enjoyed every moment being there!!!!

There is nothing that we didn't like

My wife and I had stayed at Coral Reef Inn before at a higher cost several years ago. That trip the toilet did not work and they did not repair while we were there. We decided to give the Coral Reef Inn another try because the cost was very affordable. We were surprised when we were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. The Coral Reef Inn shows it age with wear and tear that needs to be repaired but our stay was enjoyable when we went to the sailboat show.

The breakfast was not much, but for cost was ok for someone who wanted to use it. We went out to other places for breakfast.

I liked being by the water.

I didn't like the comfort of the king size bed or the smell in the kitchen cabinets and the closets. The Internet connection was poor.

The room was fabulous!

I arrived a day later than my reservation (booking.com informed the hotel) but, our reservation was cancelled. We were able to stay for 2 nights, then had to pack up and find a new hotel! Very unprofessional! staff! Breakfast was donuts and cold cereal.

price was very cheap

booked 2 beds but they had only 1 bed and sofa bed even I called them 3 o'clock for late check in. whole room smell like bathroom

Overpowering smells, bathroom outdated. Televisions outdated. Bed not very comfy

My family travels a lot and we are OK with staying in economic quarters but the filth and the discomfort at this place was horrible. Bug bites, filthy carpets and general run down nature was too much to bear and we left after the first night.

I liked the fact we had a small kitchinette available with small children and grocery shopping was across the street.not too noisy and area as well.

Its like a hoe motel.

We made a réservation for an exectuve suite,that one was insecure the lock of the windows door was broken.They move us for a room,were there is no day ligth so you have to keep the ligth on ,then outside was à sunny day. The breakfast was poor

That I left my iPad charger and was not able to find it. Spoke to the front office about the matter.

The peace and quiet and the view of the water.

My boyfriend had planned a nice romantic dinner..The only thing I didn't like was it was a beautiful full kitchen without no pots and pans. Not One...

It's spacious, clean and comfortable. It is nice with a kitchenette, free breakfast and a nice reception area. The price is great for the area.

The bathroom is older and there is no control to switch between shower and tub. The room my friend stayed was no hot water. When notified, it took awhile to get it working. It was not fixed until 10 pm. I think they should check the hot water before the guest checked in.

I end up with a head wound, because the couch was push up again the wall under the counter top. I notify your staff about the incident.

Very convenient location for shopping and to visit my daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law's home in Alameda. Both the desk and service staff are very helpful and accommodating! I feel very safe and comfortable at Coral Reef Inn, every time I visit! :)

They refused to give me a receipt at check out, since I had booked on line, then double billed my credit card. When I called, they said they hadn't and I should dispute it with my credit card company.

The hotel was clean and the staff very accommodating. The continental breakfast was adequate. The rooms are older but there was a fridge and stove if one required them. Located near a mall that was a plus.

It could use updating but then they would probably raise the prices and they are high enough already.

Location & price & access to the beach. Very pleased
