Very nice staff. Good location for access to shopping, restaurants, beach, etc. in Alameda. Large rooms.
Need to get a lagoon room in order to get quiet. Otherwise you get loud music, yelling and roaring car engines from bowling alley crowd next door. Rooms are large, but motel needs maintenance and remodeling. Kitchen facilities, but nothing to use in them.
Close to job and fishing
No elevator and need more utensils like a spatula pan and a pot would really help
Quiet and comfortable
Close to shopping, eating, pharmacy, rental car return center.
Value value value all the amenities plus the ducks for my money everything those 250 a day have one thought need a machine for waffles and bigger coffee cups
When my family and I arrived...we were very tired and ready to get settled. The clerk immediately alerted me all rooms were taken although I had booked prior and offered no other option or free stay due to the inconvenience. I will never book here again.
Comfortable, convenient, enjoyed my view, nice staff, morning coffee
Carpet may have been cleaned and wasn't dry yet, so my socks got wet walking around. Bathroom sink was clogged.
Nothing, was suppose to stay 3 nights, but checked out next day.
Mold/scum in shower, paint bubbling & coming off walls in bathroom, carpet was dirty. Decorative bed pillow was filthy on the bottom side (realized when I woke up). Could feel springs in bed. Not only a hotel, but apartments where people live full-time. People working on their cars in carport. Disgusting!
it was very dirty, we found used lotion battles in our bed and behind it, the TV had bad reseption and no option for movies Bathroom was dirty and un inviting The microwave had a bad smell and the heater didn't work well at all Over all bad place, I will never go back
How quiet the place was and it's location.
The kitchen had nothing in it. Cups plates forks spoons.
Great location--walking distance to restaurants Spacious rooms Friendly staff Great view of SF
Very dated rooms and facilities Continental breakfast was not worth the time
The convenient location to visit friends and relatives residing in Alameda. The room was large and comfortable. Personnel was friendly and accommodating.
Defective light fixture about the table caused a gas light bulb to blow out resulting in sparks and a shooting flame. Could cause a fire. Refrigerator thermostat is turned up too high which froze fruit and bottles of water. Heater began emitting odor of something burning after an hour of operation. All issues are dangerous which can be a major safety issue.
size of room overlooking the lagoon location
bad smell very old/tattered shower curtain tub needs resurfacing or is dirty have to jiggle handle on toilet or it runs carpeting is pathetically dirty and old mattress was worn down stove was extremely old
Great location! Bars, beach ,n shopping center.
I booked a room with 2 beds 2 months prior to my trip. When I got there they had told me that they had given my room, with 2 beds, away. I got "upgraded" to a room with only one bed. So my friend and I had to share a bed. What's te point in making a reservation if it's just going to be first come first serve? If I reserve a room with two beds, I expect a room with two beds. I had called earlier that day, too to make sure my room was still there. And after this, my room was still given away. Not happy about that
Staff was excellent. Loved the location and pool although it was too cold to swim.
Cleanliness was poor and would loved to have some bananas and peanut butter at breakfast.
The location is ideal for me. Having both a bedroom and a living room is very important. Separating the sink area from the rest of the bathroom is convenient.
Every aspect of the space is shabby and in disrepair. There is sagging furniture dragging on the floor, chipped wooden furniture, closet door that doesn't open properly, oven door handle coming off. And, the same hair that was on the bathroom floor when we arrive was still there 8 days later.
rooms large & comfortable overall, a good value !
day old donuts sometimes
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Tried to help me connect to Internet but was unsucssful.
Could not connect to Internet. Suite was small, poorly lit, and quite out-dated in furnishings. Needs a major update.
Staff courteous and helpful
Parking a little bit tight for large vehicle
I booked this "suite or inn" which was more like a "motel 6" for my mom and daughter who wanted a getaway and relaxing break after the death of my brother. The pics they sent my and the disgust in the pics were so far from what this place advertised on their site and so not worth the expense. The bathub paint was peeling excessively. Breakfast was a sad joke. I'm looking to see where I can post pics of what this place REALLY looks like.
This place was so far from what their online site leads one to believe. The furniture looks to be the original furniture from when it built. Tv as well and only showed 1 channel. The pics they have on their site looks to be of a total different location. I saw not one matching pic. The area is loud. Full kitchen has notbone dish in.
The bed was great. I never sleep well at hotels but i slept like a baby here. The location was perfect. Just across the street from south shore mall so we had plenty to do. And a kitchenette was a great bonus!
The rooms need to be renovated. There were 3 closets and I feel one of them could've been a vanity instead so that a person could get ready while another is using the bathroom. Not enough plugs near the beds. Our keys stopped working numerous times
Easy location clean room nice kitchenette great staff quiet large patio lagoon great beds fridge
toilet one set of dinner ware that we couldn't stay longer
Price Ferry to San Francisco close by Parking Nice staff Clean
