Loved the urban loft feel of this property, and the exposed brick, the bed was awesome!
Not close proximity to conference downtown- didn't realize breakfast was ordered, not just grab and go- wished my stay there was longer than one very short night
Very cool building but the room did not really reflect the history
could use real glassware
Loved evertything about this fabulous place...the style, the food, the room, the staff and loved the adorable bakery adjacent to the building. We will definitely be coming back again and again...
I loved that it was a historic building. The design and the entire building were so welcoming and comfortable. Rustic and historic. The hotel bar and restaurant had amazing food and service.
I was disappointed in the breakfast. For what you pay per evening, I would have thought there would be at least one hot entree. Even Best Western has a hot entree. Hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads, tea, coffee, juice, yougurt. Next time, I would just go out for a hot breakfast.I would still recommend staying there overall. I just thought for the price, you would get more.
Stayed at the Cork Factory for one night just to get away. Found the building to be very interesting and we'll appointed. We ate dinner at the in hotel restaurant and the food and drinks were excellent! Decor is a perfect balance of rustic and modern industrial style architecture. Found the room to be clean, cozy and comfortable. Floors were a little squeaky which I suppose is understandable considering they kept the original factory flooring and left it exposed as the ceilings in the room below. Nice architectural touch though. Breakfast was a very satisfying continental style with lots of quality options and served in the restaurant. Overall we were thrilled with our visit and will stay again!
Clean, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, food and beer,
The way that the place was constructed and the massive wooden beams.
Thge snow, but that was natures fault not theirs.
Beds were very comfortable
The restaurant meals were poorly done for the price being paid. The fitness equipment while there was badly in need of replacement. Many travelers count on physical fitness equipment during their stay to continue their regimented workout plan. One beat up old treadmill and one beat up old elliptical and a couple weights in the corner causes more harm than good
The location and accommodations were awesome. Dining at CFH was excellent and the waiter (John), was absolutely the best. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back"!
The experience was exceptional. Only missed having tea with the coffee compliments
The huge bed was very comfortable. Just an all round great hotel
Historic undertone was very tastefully handled by the designers. Rooms are very spacious. Daytime hotel staff were very courteous and customer service minded. they even called our cell phones to confirm dinner reservations and typed up the same in a note at the front desk. Very professional!
The elevator was out on the day we arrived and we had to hump our luggage up two flights to our room. The night time hotel staff never offered to help, even with two young children standing before them.
The room was a bit small but was wonderful
nothing I didn't like
The food was amazing the bed was so comfy
Liked the room - very upscale.
Location isn't prime, considering price. Didn't eat there but heard food was awful and prices were through the roof
I would definitely stay there again...quiet, comfy, nice staff
breakfast was lovely! lots of fresh fruit and healthful choices!
couldn't get wifi password to work most of the time....floor above our room squeaked badly. No counter in restroom at all...very hard to not have a place to put our toiletries...
My husband & I went for an overnight getaway to check out Lancaster Brew Company. I was looking for a reasonable hotel and came across Cork Factory. We could not have been more impressed. The rooms were well appointed, and the entire building was chic but very comfortable. The restaurant/bar had great food and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lancaster.
Great value, good location, nice continental breakfast, helpful staff.
The bed could be a bit better, but it wasn't really a big deal.
the restaurant was fabulous! Great food for a fair price ;)
the rooms were advertised with exposed brick and wooden beams, our room was all drywalled and painted - disapponting, no different than a holiday inn. Also, the room was very dark, 2 lamps provided, one had only one of two bulbs in it the other only had one bulb that worked.
Nice restaurant and bar - easy parking and spa across the street
A bit expensive, only a shower (no tub), all else was good.
The timber and stone cozy bar and the timber loft ceiling of our room on the top floor.
Just that there weren't any king size beds available the evening we stayed.
Ambiance, warm lobby, character of building, friendly staff.
Sound proofing between rooms need to be improved...where the dry wall meets the brick wall...one can see lights into adjacent room and hear conversations.
Beds, ambience, decor etc.
In spite of it being a no smoking hotel we had a smoker next door who spent all night coughing. If the walls had been better insulated we would not have been bothered by him. We did report it but he was still smoking and coughing 24 hours later. Breakfast was a massive disappointment. Over sweet cereals and yogurts to be eaten from the cardboard pots in which they came. Vacuum packed tasteless boiled eggs, mouldy strawberries on both mornings, weak coffee. Don't bother with it!
Everything was above amazing and awesome!
