breakfast was lovely! lots of fresh fruit and healthful choices!
couldn't get wifi password to work most of the time....floor above our room squeaked badly. No counter in restroom at all...very hard to not have a place to put our toiletries...
My husband & I went for an overnight getaway to check out Lancaster Brew Company. I was looking for a reasonable hotel and came across Cork Factory. We could not have been more impressed. The rooms were well appointed, and the entire building was chic but very comfortable. The restaurant/bar had great food and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lancaster.
Great value, good location, nice continental breakfast, helpful staff.
The bed could be a bit better, but it wasn't really a big deal.
the restaurant was fabulous! Great food for a fair price ;)
the rooms were advertised with exposed brick and wooden beams, our room was all drywalled and painted - disapponting, no different than a holiday inn. Also, the room was very dark, 2 lamps provided, one had only one of two bulbs in it the other only had one bulb that worked.
Nice restaurant and bar - easy parking and spa across the street
A bit expensive, only a shower (no tub), all else was good.
The timber and stone cozy bar and the timber loft ceiling of our room on the top floor.
Just that there weren't any king size beds available the evening we stayed.
Ambiance, warm lobby, character of building, friendly staff.
Sound proofing between rooms need to be improved...where the dry wall meets the brick wall...one can see lights into adjacent room and hear conversations.
Beds, ambience, decor etc.
In spite of it being a no smoking hotel we had a smoker next door who spent all night coughing. If the walls had been better insulated we would not have been bothered by him. We did report it but he was still smoking and coughing 24 hours later. Breakfast was a massive disappointment. Over sweet cereals and yogurts to be eaten from the cardboard pots in which they came. Vacuum packed tasteless boiled eggs, mouldy strawberries on both mornings, weak coffee. Don't bother with it!
Everything was above amazing and awesome!
Easy access from Rt. 30. loved the atmosphere.
- location (near Amish County) - hotel is in old factory building - spacious room - good breakfast - great value for money - comfortable beds - free parking
This was a lovely place to stay. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Large comfortable room. Large bathroon with more than enough towels. Easy walking distance into the centre of Lancaster. So good to see old buildings put to good use.
As with so many hotels - a fixed head shower which is too high for short people to reach to alter and most women do not want to get their hair wet every time they shower!!
clean and comfortable room and a great restaurant.
Well appointed public areas, beautiful stonework in restaurant, good base to visit Amish/Mennonite country side, comfortable beds
Scary elevator suddenly jumps up as you enter, construction going on early (started and finished while we were there), no freezer part in mini fridge (although the staff was kind enough to put our freezer paks in the hotel freezer), pillows lumpy and not very comfortable, only one chair in rooms, 2 nights in area wasn't enough
Room was very nice. Staff was very helpful.
Restaurant isn't that great. Bathrooms are dark.
Old world charm
A bit noisy at times. No real cereals like rolled oats or whole wheat for breakfast. Need good tea making facilities not coffee flavoured kettles
Bar and restaurant are very good Located at the edge of downtown Building is stunning
gym really needs to be improved
Stayed on the top floor, loved the wide board ceilings and roomy bathroom.
Rustic decor and the staff at the cafe (the bakers). The place is really unique with a lot of history. We have stayed there about 4 times and recommend.
Awesome building, very spacious room. Maybe because of the high ceiling structure, the noise of rain hitting the roof (we stayed in top floor) and voice from adjacent rooms were loud time to time.
Breakfast buffet was not filled up quickly. We were not able to have bread. Appears restaurant understaffed with only one person trying to take care everything.
Cleanliness of facilities.
Breakfast was skimpy. One server for the whole room during continental breakfast.
Comfy bed & high ceilings Nice restaurant.
Lack of amenities. No desk lamp, only 2 lights in large room. Very dark décor. Lacks details to make it memorable. One bar of soap. Had to request and put my own pillowcases on the pillows. Did not appear to be very clean.
great location, walking distance to the town center, great English pub right in front of the hotel. Short drive to Amish farmmarket (Bird in hand). Great interior, nice bar
breakfast, everything they had was sweet, the cereal, the bagles (blueberry), jam, ...no cheese or ham not even creamcheese. They said it was continental but that doesn't mean everything has to be sweetened
