Everything the fact they fixing up the hotel is nice. Remodeling all the rooms is nice. I wouldn't mind going back when they are nice
No hairdryer in the room but it say they have hairdryer. Not.
Very close to Detroit downtown
Ugly bed, thin walls, old TV
Close to Cobo, downtown Inexpensive, clean, quiet Good water pressure in shower
This deserted part of Corktown is a little scary. I wouldn't have stayed here if I had my kid with me. Day staff are very professional, night staff, not so much. Cigarette burn hole on bedspread (but at least room did NOT smell of smoke.) Rundown generally, but they're obviously trying to improve
The décor. Location relative to bus. Nearby places to eat.
The heat went out on New Year's Day.
Close to downtown and arena
We paid for our two nights and when I got my credit card bill they had charged an additional $100 to my card a couple day after we checked out. When I phoned the employee couldn't explain why they charged me. I'm was mad that they could will access my credit card info after I checked out. Also, 20 mins of arguing and she finally gave me a refund. Not very happy.
hot wather please in the shower ¡¡¡¡
dog barking all nite
I liked it was super close to the cobo center.
The neighborhood is bad and room smelled horrible. The room was very destroyed.
Great Front desk attendant.
there was no breakfast available.
Cheap, and close to the Masonic Temple venue if your in Detroit for a concert, etc. And this hotel is not considerd to be in the "ghetto" either.
Didn't like the service at the desk when you check in, they weren't very helpful on the phone either. If you stay here your going to have to leave to eat out or order because there is NO food or drinks in the vending machines. I was very disappointed with the dirty bed sheets. When I tried to use the elevator it got stuck. Was not pleased with the Meath heads standing around outside. And the "locking gate for cars" is open all the time and never closes or locks.
I got sick and thete might have been Ebola on the bed as it was covered in blood. don't go here
same as above. didn't like anything.
The bed ,its would have been excellent if our bathroom didn't flood it ,its was water everywhere even after we or one person takes a shower ,with the shower curtain being close ,i would have rate y'all a five points star's but i gives the Corktown inn three star's and we didnt gets a refund back. Wow
The shower, the bathroom flood it everywhere in thats area room 206 was very poorly wen its came to taking a shower and getting out of it and stepping in pool of water on bathroom floor area ,wen the shower curtains Are closed wow its was likes if i just gots out of the pool area and water was everywhere omg i said to my husband very very poorly inn
The staff was not courteous the maid never came to clean the room nor give new towels and wash clothes. My bed did not have clean linens on it and the area sucked. A man was in the lobby who got beat up the night before by three guys who stole his things. Not happy
Good Location Safe neighboorhood Low Price Friendly staff (the day girl) Channel 35
Bad smell all around No room cleanup during the 3 nights stay. Got stuck in a marathon loop on sunday morning and couldnt drive at the Lions game. Channel 36
WiFi is fine.
BED BUGS!!! This is my first experience with these nasty insects, and I feel like I'm almost eaten them alive. Ughhh. Staying at this hotel has spoiled my next trip.
Close to busstation
very run down and security glass in front of the reception !!
-comfortable bed -room quite dark for sleeping -could barely recognize that it used to be a Holiday Inn -nice retro artwork
-stale tobacco smell even in rooms -rooms not properly cleaned, cigarette butts, empty beer carton, wrappers -sticky,crusty carpeting -faucet sprayed up and sideways -towel rack ready to fall off -property surrounded by barbed wire -room key needed for parking lot entry and front lobby entrance -plexiglass surrounding front desk -no drinking glasses in room -no maintenance staff on duty
Cost n receptionist .., she was very beautiful;))
The flush of bathroom was nt working. We got our rooms changed. Also the rooms were stinking
-the confusion upon finding panties for sale in the vending machine -it was close to slows BBQ which was a bonus
-you had to use room key to access lobby so if your not checked in you have to stand outside until either someone notices you or another guest comes in. -the flashing light on the fire alarm that flashes every 30 seconds (its like your at a rave all night long)
It was extremely cheap and close to the COBO center. Given that we didn't really hangout in the hotel, nothing else about the hotel really mattered to us.
The lamps in our room weren't working which was sort of a bummer.
