Had to pay for Parking
They did not read or accommodate my special request and blamed booking.com, it was simple nice getaway I requested a bottle Of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be there upon arrival. Did not do either
Wifi in the lobby sucked. And it was $12/night to have it in your room! Pretty ridiculous. They say the pools were heated but it did not feel like 80 degrees at night. We chose this hotel in hopes to be able to take our baby swimming and it didn't happen.
No Enternet in room
I stayed in a Villa, so I had a galley. Large comfortable room, perfect bed. Quiet. I could park in front of the villa which was ideal for my purpose. I came to photograph and having my vehicle handy was ideal.
I hesitate to mention this, but I had to call to have the floor in the vanity area cleaned; when I called, I got prompt attention and a follow up call.

Bathtub Fire pits beautiful view Nice lobby bar Location
breakfast prices to high pillows too flat bed to springy need floor mat in bathroom
Location is good
1. Double bed size is too small 2. Parking direction is confusing 3. Housekeeping knock door in early morning even we plan to check out in that morning (hotel should check our check out status to arrange housekeeping)
nearby downtown/fantastic night city view/great coastal walk/good breakfast/drinks in lobby/not too much noise
arrogant and unfriendly staff/dirty floor and not cozy room/small and uncomfortable beds/hair on pillow and no apology/amenities of bad quality/parking fee/far away from coronado beach/overall definitely overpriced hotel
Everything in the hotel was great one of the nicest views for a hotel I have ever stayed at.
The price for parking
The villas are great
No free wifi at that price of room!
the room , swimming pool , and the view
very expinsive , brakefast , the staff
The location was just perfect - everything that previous travellers had written about this were absolutely accurate! Easy access to cafes, shops, restaurants, the ferry to San Diego, bike trails etc. All excellent!
Location & leisure facilities
Everything about the resort - the location, rooms, pool, amenities, staff. It was the perfect, luxury weekend.
Other guests at the pool made for a very uncomfortable situation, probably because they had too much to drink. There was a lot of vulgar language and body gestures. When one of the other poolside guests asked them to stop (she had young daughters in the pool), they harrassed her to the point where she had to move to another area of the pool.
Nice hotel at a perfect location. A 5 minute walk along the bay and you have a good choose of places to eat.
Dirty carpet in the room Wifi quality let to desire Old hotel No breakfast buffet I have seen the brush to clean the floor touching towels on the maid trolley !!!
Staff, view, location
Cleaning staff late everyday, but checkout day... Didn't knock before keys were already in and door opening! Then called out a greeting, really?
Room clean and the beds are comfortable.
Staff at dinner service is no so good. Kind of lazy and not friendly. Come over and ask is there everything good until we are ready to leave. Hard to find the address by using a GPS.
Great location, views, away from traffic, relaxing layout.
Everything very nice but it needs updating/general refeshing.
Close proximity to the water, spectacular views of the ocean, the bridge, the city. Loved the running brooks and trees INSIDE the development. Outstanding rooms. Can't wait to return..
Didn't like that ducks and other birds could walk freely under tables and in between feet while people trying to eat during the day. (Not a problem at night; birds gone to bed..)
The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. You felt like you were on vacation by yourself when in the room areas and walking about. The pool was not too crowded. Service at the pool was slow but friendly. Nice weekend, we enjoyed being so close to downtown.
The one bedroom villa was perfect in every way
The studio villa was not clean, the smoke alarm made a buzzing sound every time the AC came on and worst of all, the patio was covered in duck poop! Really gross. You couldn't even go out on patio because it was everywhere . I would never choose a studio villa again.
The comfort is the "Marriott amazing comfort" Also the hositality and service mindset is outstanding
The furnature is a bet old and was expecting the usual five stars room of Marriott, but it was more of 3-4 stars. The misscommunication between Booking.com and Marriott. I had to fight with the front desk about the included breakfast with the package.
Room service food was delicious and the staff is really friendly It very peaceful on the island The Marriott private ferry was very convenient to travel to San Diego
The ferry is a bit pricey and charged $6 per person per ride.
