GOOD PRICE EXCELLENT BUFFET BREAKFAST - INCLUDED NICE COMMON AREA WITH FIREPLACE FRIENDLY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF
THE LOBBY IS VERY NICE WITH THE FIRE GOING THE GAMES DOWNSTAIRS WERE NICE FOR KIDS POOL AND PING PONG
BACK PART OF BUILDING WHERE YOU WENT INTO OUR ROOM WAS KIND OF DARK AND SEEMED NEGLECTED
Rooms are good size. Pool, hot tub. Easy access parking at rear of room. Very good continental breakfast.
Pool not warm enough.
Proximity to mountains. Breakfast was great! My kids had plenty to do while we were at the hotel.
There was a large family from NJ who thought they owned the place. They were making considerable noise at 6am extending to 12am. They took over the common areas and were rude to other guests. We tried to watch the Patriots AFC championship game. Who knew a hotel would not have a major network on their satellite provider. CBS should have been available.
Great value and comfortable room.Nice hearth in center of lobby where many could comfortably congregate.
Fitness Center was freezing.Too cold to use.
The staff makes you feel at home and the facilities were great!
I stayed for 5 days in December. I wanted to get away from NYC. The place is beautiful. The room was great and the staff super friendly. I went during the week of a crazy snow storm that managed to knock out the power for a few minutes a couple of times.
The only negatives about the place is the rooms don't have a microwave. You have to go downstairs to the lobby and use the one by the elevator which sucked. Also the WiFi is not password protected which left my laptop open to hackers. My laptop ended up with a keylogger installed and they got into my bank account. (Nightmare)
Good location and value for skiing in Killington. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Nice pool and jacuzzi . Afternoon home made cookies were nice. Very nice central area with tables, armchairs and fireplace to relax outside of room after a day of hard skiing.
This place has a potential to be great if only small repairs were up to date and breakfast was less basic. Clean but seems neglected in spots (some paint peeling, some wholes in carpet, game room not well maintained). Would add stronger coffee and yogurt and bananas for breakfast.
Overall the Cortina Inn is a great place to stay. It is the only pet friendly hotel near Killington. TThe location is great. The staff was accommodating.
The decor needs to be updated. Breakfast needs work
Location to mountain is great. Pool and jacuzzi and lower level are all very good. Great area for kids to run around!! Breakfast was great!
Wanted fires in other fireplaces near front door and in lower level... no heat downstairs for the kids....
It is a bit away from the mtn, if that is ok with you, it is a good value. Nice pool
The breakfast is weak, below caliber of most places in VT - few choices, mediocre quality. Wifi is not good, don't count on it for more than basic email and web searching
breakfast location Friendly staff Hot Tub Pool Scenery
Pool needs to be warmer
Good location which was a 10 minute drive to ski resort. The staff was very friendly and "mostly" helpful. We arrived on a Thursday with only one other room booked, and actually got a "tour" of the facility. The big fireplace in the middle of the lobby was one of our favorite things, with the fire constantly going and an agreement that you could BYOB of wine or beer. Very relaxing area. The hotel Manager looks like he is trying to refurbish the hotel to what it was like "in it's prime". Old hotel that needs some work, but we appreciated the efforts in progress.
There was a Front Desk Concierge who seemed confused upon check in. She assigned a room that was not cleaned yet, but then resolved it. She told us that "there was no restaurant", but we found out later from another employee that they do serve breakfast. Breakfast's main meal was not hot, and not tasty, but they had hard boiled eggs and an assortment of breads, bagels and cereal as a good option. They need to get the restaurant going again. There was a large pool area, but the pool was too cold and hot tub was too hot to go into. Heating system in the room had a blower that was noisy and had a complicated thermostat. Good potential.
The Cortina was amazing, first time there for both my girlfriend and me. First impression: wow, this is nice, and wow this is clean. Classic ski lodge vibe, fireplace, tea and cookies for guests, rooms were modern and beds were perfect after a hard day of skiing. Staff was super nice too!
- Great value for me and 3 other friends to go skiing. - Rooms were very nice - Hot tub and pool are a nice extra
- Bad WiFi - Staff could be a little bit more informed, but they're not bad.
Cortina is in the middle of everything(Mt. Pico, Mt Killington, large town of Rutlund) Tons of stores and restaurants. Pool, hot tub, and center fireplace in lobby.
The sunken fireplace lounge was a nice touch. Clean and recently updated rooms!
No breakfast off season
Just before ski season the place was quiet. Nice fireplace was kept going the whole time. Whirlpool was nice and the play room was simple distraction
Our room was close to the pool area and we could hear the ventilation pumps from there through the walls. We left late our first day and maid service never came back.
indoor swimming pool
No bar Noisy road
Asked for fire to be started in sitting area by lobby. Evening manager said he would but didn't! It was snowing that night & would have enjoyed it!
+Convenient for our one night stay while passing though +Large rooms +Comfortable/cozy beds +Large and diverse breakfast buffet
nothing comes to mind
Amenities were great. Pool, hot tub, game room, gym, breakfast. VERY friendly staff. Pet-friendly!
Although my sister & I were only here for one day in the Fall, we really enjoyed the Inn! People were nice, the staff was very helpful and the location is excellent.
Wifi connection wasn't that great.
The price is very reasonable for a very large room with comfortable beds, good bathroom, parking and helpful staff. Clean and cheerful. Large communal areas with sofas and diy tea and coffee always available.
A bit dated, folksy - but this is a ski area so it is probably what is expected. The breakfast area is a little bleak and has a " hostel" feel. Not easy to find in the first instance as the sat nav didn't recognise the address.
