Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark  

The construction, the variety of activities, the family atmosphere, and the excellent service. The daycare service was great. I even got a jump for my car when needed.

Maybe the bar could be open to midnight. Possibly some enhancement to the breakfast menu. No real complaints, though, but the food temperature could have been better controlled.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The large room we had was well stocked and very good for larger groups(we had 6 in our group but the suite could easily accommodate more). I loved the outdoor pool and the kids enjoyed the water slides.

The staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced to put it kindly. Everything was at an additional fee and we were not even offered a check in day rate for the waterpark when we did not arrive until after 4pm. The person who checked us in didn't know about it.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We spend a lot of money and didn't realize the water park was not part of the package. Also we were checked in late and when we went to water park there was no towels for 2 hours. Then in the morning I went to the gym, no water and no towels. If this is a high end resort, you need to step up your service.

We liked almost everything except that you are charged for everything and the prices are high. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We were given a suite that was not the same as the picture and when we showed them the moved us to the other suite with a loft and wanted to make sure we were pleased with everything.

The resort was first class and the staff great until we used the Indoor waterpark facility. This was charged for at $35 per person per day (no discount for children) which was nearly as expensive as the full cost for the stay. This should be clearly stated before booking and when this was pointed out to the staff we were told that it was a separate part of the complex and they always get complaints about that. After paying for the use of the waterpark we were told that there were staff problems and some of the facility could not be used (water basketball) again after complaining we got the use for 30 minutes but again the staff disappeared and we were left "high and dry"

The waterpark should not be advertised along with this complex as it is charged for and seems to be run as a separate facility.

The staff at Hope Lake Lodge was extremely helpful and courteous. They had some fun activities for our toddler. Our room was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed to cook with, which is very helpful with a toddler. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, in fact we had extended our stay by an extra day and the staff went above and beyond to let us keep our room at the rate we paid for the previous days.

My only complaint is the fact that you have to pay to use the pool. There should be a separate pool from the waterpark for guests to use. It was way too much money for a family to spend more than once.

The Acorn Grill left much to be desired. We arrived later than expected and almost missed them because they closed at 10 pm, being a bit remote it would have been difficult finding something to eat.

The staff was friendly, the food was great and the spa was heavenly. We had a great time.

I liked the water park because I have small children.

I did not like the fact that it is extremely overpriced. I thought I was paying for hotel and water park. Once we got there we had to pay an additional fee for water park. Make sure before you book that you agree with all the fees and you clarify what you are getting for your money.

There was an indoor/outdoor swimming pool that can even be accessed on wintery days. Since it is a family destination, we felt our children were safe in the waterpark areas. The lifeguards were very vigilant.

Teh waterpark is very small. I think it was perfect forour toddler and 8 year old, but the twoolder chidlren, 14 and 15, were too big to have much fun in it. They, of course, had a great time onthe outdoor recreation events, but the little ones couldn't go. The cost of the rooms does not include the waterpark admission, which it did at other sites we visted. It seemed that eery activity was extra. Even the full-day passes didn't cover everything. I think the hotel has the right idea and is headed int the right direction, but the staff are not able to keep up, or they are not distributed correctly. There isn't an attendant for their small store, you have to go to the front desk to ask for someone to man it. Which means it is never open and you have to wait for someone to open it. The front desk also where you need to go for everything, concierge, check in check out, waterpark tickets, etc....they are too busy, you have to stand in line.

We had a wonderful experience at the Spa. It was beautiful and the staff were gracious and skilled. Room service was fast, courteous and reasonably priced. The service staff was exceptional, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff was also exceptional.

One thing: while the wave pool was really great for the younger kids, the adults and older kids only really wanted to spend time in the jacuzzi. We thought that it was a waste of money for us to have to buy an expensive day pass. If there were a separate hot tub for the adults to use outside of the water park our stay would have been complete. Additionally I would recommend this resort to my friends for our annual "girls weekend" I may still but it would be a bonus to include a jacuzzi.

My daughter had a great time. I will return with her.

Szép a környezet, csoda az épület, majdnem európai síszállás, bár mi szeptemberben voltunk. A természet csodás, közel van az autópályához, mégis eldugottnak tűnik.

Az üzemeltetés az átlag amerikai ügytlenséget is alulmúlja. Képzetlen recepciós és felszolgáló, nagyon gyenge étterem. A környéken viszont semmi más nincs nyitva. A legfelhábirítóbb a medence. 40 usd a belépő, szállóvendégeknek is. 3usd egy víz, kicsi és a csúszdákat ok nélkül negyed óránként lezárják.

The waterpark facilities (swim pools internal and external) is not included on the room booking as is promised in the booking.com site. The booking site to this hotel is misleading and not reliable. It is the first time that it happens to me with the booking.com site that promised something false with an hotel.
