The motel manager was very friendly and hospitable. Found this location because hotels in conference city were sold out. Wasn't expecting much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. Would stay again. Very budget friendly, clean and comfortable. A+ to the managers! Not really any restaurants in the area. Wouldn't recommend for a long term stay.

Andrea, the on site manager, was a great help and had brochures prepared for us when we arrived. I had called to say we were doing the covered bridge loop and she had a packet of relevant materials. She took a lot of initiative to make our stay pleasant. It was difficult to work the shower in one of the rooms and one of the rooms had a problem with the heater. That said, a space heater was provided. Heaters coming on and going off were noisy.

It is a friendly family-run operation and they try to meet your needs. We were called early in the day to confirm what time we were going to arrive so the room would be ready for us. It was a great value for the money. They are still refurbishing the place. There was no closet or wardrobe to hang things. The doors and faucets squeaked and the toilet would run every half-hour. Hopefully they'll get some of these things fixed soon.

It was quiet and beds were comfortable. Everything else was pretty standard for a low-end motel.
