Nestled in the trees on the historic Lake Tahoe west shore in Tahoe Park, this cozy bed and breakfast is just 20 minutes’ drive from Emerald Bay. Offering a fireplace, all studios feature garden or partial lake views at Cottage Inn. A flat-screen cable TV, small refrigerator, seating area and an en suite bathroom are also included. Log cabin inspired, studios are decorated in wood furnishings and rustic accents. A hearty country breakfast is prepared on site daily and served in the dining room during the winter or on the garden terrace in the summer. The Cottage Inn is just steps from a private Lake Tahoe beach. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas. Tahoe City is 2 miles away. Squaw Valley Ski Resort is 5 miles away. CHARM, CHARM, CHARM! A beautiful place froom top to bottom. Our room was amazing, beautifully laid out so that you could enjoy the fireplace and tv, both from the 2 person jacuzzi tub or the very comfortable bed. Really beautiful rustic decor, perfect for the mountains. Awesome location. Close to everything we needed, especially the lake and downtown Tahoe City. Most special of all are the people and the above and beyond service. Suzy made sure our stay was the absolute best. We wished we could take her home with us! We will definitely be back every time we go to Tahoe! Nothing. Everything was well beyond our hopes and expectations.

Great service. Very cute cottages. Delicious breakfast. Booking.com is not showing that there will be an additional charge for 3rd person. Also description of the room on booking.com said we'll have a tub, but we only had a shower stall. I think this issue is not with the cottage inn but with booking.com

Cottage atmosphere, unique style, good craftsmanship, very comfortabe, high-end neighboring community. Privacy, nature, beauty of cottages. Bed and covers extremely comfortable. Good wireless. Sofa very comfortable. Clean tahoe water. Shower very hot. Happy hour wine. Breakfast was really gormet. Manager lady was very nice. Dvd player did not work. Window treatments did not completely block out outside viewers (though I expect there were none). One of the 2 passwords for wifi didn' t work. Normal tv cable service reception pretty poor signal.. Tv too small. They got rid of the shared sauna. The room was advertised as having a tub big enough for two, but instead it only had a shower.

When booking on your site it wasn't clear that there was an extra charge for the third person in our group. The Inn called and said unless we agreed to the 30 dollars per day charge, they would cancell our reservation. When we booked on your site, we thought the totaled included the 3rd person. It was not clear about the extra charge. We were NOT happy about it.

On arrival I was told I had booked for 2 nights but my booking.com # was clearly for 1 night.They charged for 2 and later credited the extra night. They say they are in Tahoe City but are actually several miles away. The room was small so would not be convenient for other than a one night visit.

The property is charmingly quaint and comfortable. The staff is excellent and very friendly. Breakfasts were creative and delicious. It was unfortunate/inconvenient that I could not connect wifi in my cabin as I was up there on business. But this was being worked on. Finding the parking lot from the road is difficult at night. It should be marked.

Fantasticas cabanas em Tahoe City, bem localizadas, limpas, bom banho e boa cama, quartos com lareiras e bem temáticos, muito lndo mesmo. Café poderia ter um pouco mais de variedades, estilo café americano...

Our cottage was very cozy - the decor was really delightful. The owners have thought of many little details to add to the comfort of their guests: wonderful breakfasts, mulled wine to warm up after being on the slopes all day, flannel nightgowns and a fireplace in all cottages. Staying at The Cottage Inn was a really nice experience. Last but not least, Suzy truly is one of the friendliest people on the planet and she really, really cares about her guests.
