No bad experience, but could have better choice of breakfast pastries.
Lovely grounds, comfortable & clean rooms & convenient location.
website was confusing as it turned out there are 3 separate locations and we thought they were together with different rooms, cottages, but same amenities such as restaurant on site (not at our site). ours was at the cheaper room rate and we 'perhaps" would have paid more to get things we didn't get if we had known. as we had never used them we did not know and it was not made clear (maybe it was just us).
it was clean and scones at breakfast were good (also were the only breakfast item).
Beds pretty uncomfortable (hard), shower dark and shower head so-so, a little dated considering popularity (could stand some upgrades). More could be done to easily make it a premier property.
Friendly staff (willing to accommodate), great location.
Heaters don't work. In 1st room we had did not work at all. In room we were switched to, when heater was on it smelled like burning hair or electrical wire. Breakfast is a joke. They should just say coffee. There is nowhere to sit. Only had coffee and sweet muffins, not even the usual dry cereal. Beds are very hard. Bathroom had dirt in corners. Not as good as a motel 6 but rooms are larger.
Staff was nice.
Bed was very uncomfortable.
Room was very clean. Great space.
The bright light right outside the room window. Air and heat can not be shut down automatically. Very itchy, not soft wool blanket.
The front desk staff very pleasant and welcoming. Room clean and spacious. Easy check in and out.
The breakfast could use a room by it's self .No seating room. No tables.
We liked closeness to town and everything.
the staff went above and beyond to assist with a reservation problem! great job fixing it.nice room and a good value. good location for Britt goers.
Room is very inviting and makes you feel like home as soon as you step through the door.
Need a floor lamp by single comfortable chair by entry door and refrigerator. When in that chair, the TV was too small for my older, corrected with glasses, vision. Shower was hard to get in and out of in room #135 king suite. Otherwise, 135 was wonderful, and quiet.
desk staff (?Kati) excellent. I would hire her instantly for my own office. A great cheerful, intelligent person with superb "people skills". Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast with fresh banana, apple, scone, and yogurt and 2 juices, excellent coffee a delightful meal
pillows were too soft. it's no big deal, I'll get over it.
the room was clean and I did not smell any smokers from other rooms and outside. loved the lightening storms during the night. townsfolk were friendly too.
quiet not a "chain" Hotel quaint tables outside to enjoy the complimentary breakfast great location no noise from a freeway or airport
Great room. Wonderful location
Pricey Lackadaisical housekeeping
Delightful cottage with private garden. Walking distance to town and Britt Festival and wonderful dining options including The Mustard Seed for breakfast where they serve the most delicious, best-ever cinnamon roll and the C-Street Bistro.
Loved the proximity to the Britt Festival venue
The black mold that came out of the jet jacuzzi, small patio area, not real secluded, was under impression that breakfast included with the price and yet we got $10 off coupons. No notice was given to us that breakfast at all the restuarants stopped serving breakfast by 10:00-10:30. We slept in until around 9:30 and got up to have breakfast and everywhere he stopped serving breakfast. Paid a lot of money for not a good value. It was our 15th anniversary and we don't get out much because of te kids. Disappointed.
The bed was comfortavle and locator was good.
The breakfast was only fruit and scones. It would be nice to have a protein choice, such as boiled eggs or protein bars. We had to go out to get food when we had hoped breakfast would have been covered at the hotel.
We really enjoyed how close the hotel was located to downtown Jacksonville. We were able to walk to stores and not worry about parking. Also, the bed was very comfortable along with the quiet atmosphere of our hotel room.
The shower head is directed towards the door in the shower. It is movable, but then you are standing in a corner of the shower.
I like staying in smaller facilities, rather than the four and five floor facilities. The grounds and lawn chairs/tables were welcoming.
Beds were terrible. Traffic noise. Shower marginal .
WIFI is not enough for streaming...
Nicer and cleanest hotel I haven't seen from long period !
Beautiful little town, hotel is in a nice and quiet location, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Nicely refurbished property. Well appointed rooms. Professional and efficient check in. Clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Grounds were well kept & even had chairs & tables to sit outside. Room was very large with comfortable bed and great WiFi connection. First visit to Jacksonville but we will return and stay here.
