Country Inn and Suites at Mall of America  

We have stayed here quite a few times. Every time the staff is welcoming and friendly We love the location and the fact that Friday's restaurant and IHop are attached to the hotel. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are quiet. They also have suites available if you have a family or require more room. The light rail and bus are available across the street so it makes it easy to get around, and the hotel is right off I-494..easy access. Love it. Continental breakfast is very good.

Not one thing to complain about.

The breakfast was great with many choices. It was quiet in the room even though our room was close to the elevator. The bed was good and we slept well. Had a separate room to watch tv as not to disturb those that wanted to sleep. Housekeeping was very good also.

The shower curtain was too narrow and the shower curtain rod was loose on the mounting brackets and hung down. This enabled water to pool on the floor and we had to keep pulling the curtain shut on the ends and mopping the floor. There were little kids in the hot tub, between the ages of 9 months to 13 years old. Someone needs to keep an eye on the pool area, not a lifeguard but an employee of the hotel. The rules were not followed in the pool area.

Adult daughter, daughter-in-law and myself flew in to have a gals fun weekend at Mall of America (MOA). We had a wonderful stay at the Country Inn on Killebrew Dr (south side of mall). The hotel is across the street from the MOA (Macy's). We were able to save the expense of a rental car. The Country Inn has a shuttle that will take you to MOA on the hour and pick you up on the hour (on the north side of the mall). The shuttle also goes to the airport. Call them on a phone when you arrive. It was about a 10 -15 minute wait. Can't promise that during holidays though. Make arrangements with the front desk for your departure. Never a fee for the shuttle, but we did tip. It is also an easy walk, if the weather is nice, from the hotel to the mall (Macy's). There is a TGI Fridays and IHOP connected to the hotel, but there are also many restaurants, fast food and sit down order-taking, at the mall. There is also a Chevy's next door to the hotel that we walked to on a Saturday night, and it had karaoke. I was told by the shuttle driver that the rooms were updated 2 years ago. They were very clean. There was a lit fire in the fireplace, coffee and cookies to greet us in the reception area upon arrival.

It's difficult to come up with anything that we didn't like, but it would probably have to be that the beds were somewhat hard (2 queen room), and we found the water to be hard while taking our showers.

The only thing that I want to say is that I was booked in a handicapped room and was told that this is what I booked. There is no way or reason that I would book a handicapped room. It was in a very noisy location and my son was unable to sleep any of the nights that we were there. Because this is how your company booked us, I will not be using you service again nor will I recommend you to any of my friends who travel quite extensively!

We appreciated the shuttle to the Mall and airport. It worked out great. Breakfast was great.

I booked through booking.com and was quoted $823.65 but was charged 941.23. The clerk told me not to worry because the printed bill he gave me was wrong and that the booking.com price was correct. He would not let me have the printed bill. I checked my account and had been billed $941.23. I would like this corrected.

Faultless budget hotel. Staff lovely and helpful, rooms large and clean, swimming pool, laundry and easy walk to Mall of America, free shuttles to airport and Mall.

Close to MOA, and other attractions. Staff were very friendly, Pierre was so kind!

Hotel was right across from the Mall of America, and close to restaurants and other sites. Breakfast was excellent.

When we checked in, it was Kate. The two queen room we had booked was unavailable. the king with foldout ended up being fine, but I mot always happy when I don't get the room I booked several months before.

The brekfast could be better

This is our second time here with our children. Very friendly and always tries to get our room near the pool. Very clean and a "warm" feel. Nice pool always plenty of towels. Rooms are very welcoming with comfortable bedding and beds. Its the only place near the Mall of America that we would stay.

I would like it if there were opportunities for discounts or reduced rates. Maybe there are discounts that I am not aware of. $150 a night is a little expensive we think.

The rooms and staff and food was good. The location was great.

Just that the hot tubs where not working not big on swimming wanted to relax with hot tubs.

Excellent location..within walking distance to the MOA. Facilities were great! Complimentary in-house breakfast was very good and convenient. TGIF restaurant was another plus for the hotel. The stay was wonderful !

Card keys that suddenly malfunctioned and had to be reprogrammed back down at the desk. (very annoying and inconvenient especially after a day of shopping and carrying many parcels up & down the elevator...again) Guests that forgot to look in the mirror before they arrrived for breakfast...messy hair, pj pants.....come on people :(

Great location to the moa! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable..

Location was good. Facilities were well maintained, and the breakfast had a good variety.

Need to have breakfast be more adaptable for people who are gluten free.

We like to stay here do to its location. We walk to the Mall of America.
