Bed was comfy, nice lobby, friendly desk clerk

Toilet seat needs replaced, very loose. No tissues. There was one left. No tv channel guide.

Layout was very nice for someone staying for more than one night.

Could have been a little cleaner looked like the furniture had not been deep cleaned in awhile, no santi-strip on toilet.

Room was big with plenty of room. Nice to have a refridgerator.

Pool was very cloudy and all the kids complained about the water burning their eyes. Area around hotel is very run down, trash everywhere. Wouldn't stay there again.

Stair from reception to second floor. Promptness of the attendant in changing the room because the one assigned to us was not cleaned (At 12:30 AM).

Coffee for breakfast is locate at the reception. Old and slow elevator

The room was clean and also very spacious. The hot tub was a bigger size than some I've seen in other facilities. Since I like mirrors, they got two thumbs up for having the full sized mirror postioned perfectly. They have a workout room and a pool. This hotel is also in a location that has multiple stores near. So overall I would give them an 8.

When I went to check in, the guy at the service desk asked me if I had the credit card on file that was used to book the room. I replied yes but you don't really need it since my room has already been paid for. He looked at me and said sure that's what everybody says while I was in line with some other people behind me. I didn't like that because im an individual, and I didn't understand why he would say something like that. Anyway my fiance' and I just looked at him and laughed and just asked for our key. He kinda had me wondering if that treatment was because I was African American, or was it because I was gay. What ever it was I over look stupidity, however first impressions are long lasting. Maybe as he stated, it was simply because he didn't want to be there. He wasnt a good host and im sure that he doesn't represent the hotel by his own actions. Just for the record though, my room was paid for in full and had been since the end of January. When I checked out there was a woman hostess. I gave her my keycards and started to talk about the hotel stay she didn't really seem all that interested. Which I wouldve been due to the fact that I would love to have part in a guest returning for another stay.

The free breakfast had potatoes and sausage along with the eggs. The one we stayed at in Akron, only had ham. It was good but just more to choose from in Columbus.

This particular Country Inn Suites was not as nice as the one we stayed at in Akron, Ohio. The TV remote did not work and the batteries were replaced and it still did not work. Took it to the front desk they punched in a code on remote and it still didn't work. Just let it go as we were only staying one night.

Helpful front desk. They even gave me the phone number to booking.com when I had a reservation question.

At first they gave me a room that had clearly been smoked in for the past 15 years and recently was turned into a non-smoking room. It smelled terrible. However, they did change rooms when I requested.

I loved the cleanliness of the room and the huge whirlpool tub. The bed was very comfortable!!!!

Room was clean

Smelled like smoke and dirty feet. Tacky decor. Tiny hard pillows to small to use to sit up and watch T.V. and to hard to sleep on. No sitting area as advertised, one hard chair and small table at foot of bed is not considered sitting area. Smelled so bad had to open windows facing expressway all night and hear noise but better then smell of room. Windows opened 3 feet wide anyone could have fallen out. No cookies as advertised but moldy oranges. Other Country Inn and Suites stayed at were great. What happened to you ?

Price.

The room was good ,it was warm and the tv controlled easily. Had just stayed at a Hilton and the Tv was frustrating

The pool water looked rough and the elevator could use some finishing

Hospitality of Host.

Couch pillow on davenport was torn and not repaired. Only thing that detracted from room.

That the motel was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the Breakfast offered the next morning.

Fair rates with decent accomodations and breakfast included.

The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy, everything around it is run down.

Halls and elevator could have been cleaner

The entire staff, from housekeepers to front desk, were friendly and accomodating. Derick's warm cookies in the evening were outstanding. It was no trouble to extend our stay when our flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandra. They took very good care of us.

The breakfast was good. There was a loose toilet seat that I reported in the morning, which I was assured would be fixed. (I only stayed the one night.)

Nothing, really -

None of the excerise equipment worked, no fridge or microwave in the room

Checking in early. Friendly and helpful staff, Ling. Clean and quiet room.

The decor was very outdated, and the carpets everywhere (our suite, lobby, hallways) were filthy. Our bedspread was stained. The couch was very old, no support and flattened cushions. The whole place could use a major update!
