Loved the attention to details and the service provided by all the staff we encountered.
None, really... It was a very enjoyable stay!
Historic buildings with `character`, friendly staff.
building works on opposite building.
Staff was friendly and everything looked really nice.
They charge you to check in early and if you have to stay a little late. Valet is really overpriced. Room was small I could barely get around on one side and I'm not a big guy.
Street torn up
The valet was driving my car recklessly. The employees were not very helpful. The pool was very small. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel.
Price was high but the weekend was sold out everywhere so it's was the best price in comparison.
Location, friendliness of staff, breakfast was very good, amazingly comfortable bed, charming
Rooms smelled stale, no view (close to a brick building), charged us $33/day for parking on top of a room that cost $760 for 2 days - we booked 3 rooms paid over $2k for 2 nights and still had to pay parking. Small rooms - cigarette burns on bathroom counter. While it was charming, we would not stay there again.
We were at first given a room right next to the elevator shaft and didn't sleep all night! It was awful. After complaining to management we got moved to a quiet room. But we weren't compensative in a room they shouldn't place anyone in! So beware.
Location Staff Room was spacious but no outside window Quiet
-Would not let us check in 2 hours early without a $25 fee. What a horrible greeting upon arrival.! -Breakfast was hit and miss -Very weak WiFi -Room cleaning was spotty
Staff was very friendly especially Eddie the concierge and Jason the bartender!
Breakfast was horrible at best! The place has no place to eat lunch or dinner!
Easy to walk to the main areas of the city. Quiet location. It was fine to walk home in the evening (though I wouldn't recommend wandering around too late in your own)
The only thing that bugged me was that the curtains were filthy!!
Everything was great
Confusing communication about pricing at times, but overall no problems or complaints
Great staff, location and rooms. Made the trip all the more better.
Great location, walking distance to everything you need!
Didn't like a room without a window to the outside. Make sure you ask for a room that has a window that faces Magazine Street.....they charge you extra for that option.
The room was nice for the size, bed was very comfortable and posh. Nice pool area giving off a seclusive atmosphere. Staff was the friendliest we encountered during our deep south vacation. Would definately stay again.
Parking could be a little more friendly. 33 dollars for an overnight park is somewhat extreme I think.
Location, ambience, staff.
Small room on ground floor with vehicles parked outside the window.
We loved the breakfast that was provided everyday. Good variety of foods and wonderful morning staff...bright and cheerful.. Homemade Cookies available at all times gave a very welcoming feeling
We didn't like the fact that there was construction on the road right beside the hotel. The arrangement of the TV in the room was awkward.
The worst coffee! No safety bar in bathtub we were three in the suite and everyday we had to ask for extra linen. Only two glasses and cups and only coffee for two. We tried to tell the cleaning lady but she spoke no English.
Welcoming & helpful staff after midnight got us and our car stowed away, fed at local good food place(their recommendation! and great) and despite having to go back and forth to car for various issues were always polite and helpful.
Having to leave.
King, the head valet guy was great. The front desk staff were very good.
The concierge couldn't stop talking about himself (it was literally 1/2 an hour before we could get in a word) and talked us out of a tour we wanted to book and into a tour he suggested (and got a booking fee for) which was terrible. The bathroom was tiny and very rundown. It had zero ventilation so it got terribly hot and steamy. Our sink backed up the 1st night. The light by the closet and coffee/fridge area wasn't working. Beds were very loud and not comfortable.
The place was beautiful & close to everything. Room was big and clean.
Hallways & elevators were tight and often close to other rooms.
Nice property close to the French Quarters and the river.
When I asked for a one hour extension for checking out (i.e. leaving my room at 12 noon instead of 11 am) I was told I would have to pay $25.00. I think this is very cheap on the part of management after a five night stay!
loved the charm of the old converted warehouse, very unique . Easy walk to the hustle of the French quarter without the noise. Great location
The staff was very nice and welcoming, especially Eddie, the concierge. The decor, the cleanliness, and the environment WONDERFUL! Our room and bathroom, it was inviting and very comfortable, nothing is more enticing than goose down! We will be returning in just a few short months!
The shower head was brutal, too rough on the face and other softer areas. Our room was a little on the small size, but we only showered and slept there so these are minor hiccups.
