not sure about the breakfast ---the sausages looked dry, the hardboiled eggs were quite old, the scrambled eggs looked a bit random in its preparation, and the TANG (flavored orange drink) was unpalatable. Otherwise, the hotel itself---room, bed, TV---was fantastic!
Good price for one subway stop from midtown.
Breakfast is a joke.
It what a very clean room. The bed was comfortable and the view of manhattan was great. It was extremely easy to commute into the city. The subway station was a very short walk.
The walls are thin. And the people next door were very inconsiderate of the people around them. They were constantly running around the room and the halls to there family down the hall and opening and slamming the doors even into the early morning. But that was peoples doing not the hotels.
Big room, clean, nice breakfast
Wifi weak, no safety locker, early morning sunlight in our room
Very convenient location. The parking lot was a minute walk down the road and was very affordable. The subway was about a five minute walk. Not the most impressive room, but good enough. There was air conditioning and comfortable bed. Great view of the city and bridge. The continental breakfast was good enough. The staff was not the most personable but were helpful when we had questions. Overall it was a good and affordable stay.
The neighborhood, but that's not their fault.
The city view was absolutely amazing. The wi-fi signal was strong. The location of this hotel is very good, only 10 minutes from Manhattan and less than 30 minutes from the airport (LGA).
The housekeeper who busted into my room without knocking first. Also, the pillow cover was stained and when I asked for a new one I was told by the housekeeper that this was not her assigned room. I found it a bit rude. Other than that, everything went great.
location, wifi, clean, helpful frontdesk, possibility to print out boarding passes
breakfast was extremely poor (nb! no fresh fruits or vegetables)
Everything specially the staff
Staff is very cooperative...hotel is clean..overall its good...anybody can like this hotel...
No parking place...same meals every morning....
- Spacious room and bathroom. - Close to subway.
- Noise from the corridors at night, produced I believe by staff members. - Breakfast included ice cold scrambled eggs. How does one cook ice cold scrambled eggs?? I guess it's got to be frozen from earlier? Possibly leftovers? Blah.
Somewhat clean and location was accessible to the subway.
Too expensive for a hotel that had no parking. The Internet also wasn't working the next morning. Horrible.
It's a quiet place which was perfect for relaxing. The location is very convenient, just 5 minutes from the subway.
The breakfast was extremely poor. There was no variety and no vegetarian options. It was supposed to be available between 6 and 10 but at 8 the trays were empty and they were never replenished again. The juice machine wasn't working and the tables weren't being cleaned once they had been used so it was hard to find a free place to sit down.
Close to subway station.
There is no storage. There' s always pork in their sausage and scrambled eggs. There should have been a choice between pork or turkey. Not everybody eats pork.
I was there the 2nd time and it was perfect, the location, it was clean, breakfast was nice and personal was very helpful! I would definetly go there again!
Very close to the subway #7 train. Nice room, quiet.
Breakfast was only fair.
Front staff, not kind enough, but I believe is a culture thing. In general the hotel was clean, room was nice, AC work perfectly, all appliances.
They did not have WPIX station. I could not watch my program the next morning.
The lication was good.
Never again! The facility front desk staff was not helpful at all, although we booked 5 months in advance they did not arrange a fair room for us. The air conditioner was operating with a significant noise. Wifi was a problem in our room. although we asked for a solution they were not cooperative. And responsive. Also unfortunately one of the front desk people was irrespective to our questions about the city and was laughing to our questions. Although we traveled a lot in US this was the worst hotel experience we had. Never again County inn.
- good location (close to 3 different subway stations) - in comparison to other NYC hotels room is quite big - nice Manhattan view - breakfast included - coffee machine in the room
- you need to queue to get table for breakfast
Clean, quiet and good internet.
While we found the hallway carpets dirty, our room was clean and comfortable. However, we felt that almost $200 (including the 17-18% taxes) per night should have provided a few more facilities - eg. a breakfast room that accommodates more than 20 guest at one time and working ice machines (only found one in the whole building).
The breakfast was terrible and consisted basically of bread items. The eggs were brought in cold from an off-site location and put into a warmer to reheat. My trip to the buffet consisted of: stone cold scrambled eggs; barely warm sausages I would be reluctant to feed my dog; cold, uncooked hash browns; tang style juice; and pasty, tasteless cream of wheat cereal. The only saving grace was the make your own waffles; however, you had to allow at least 20 mins to make it through the line up.
Excellent location, 2 minutes from Queensboro subway station, and 5 minutes from Manhattan, excellent value for money.
