Access to Manhattan (2 different subway lines) Coin laundry near (1block) Internet access fast Very professional staff
Room cleanliness must be improved
Helpful staff, good rooms
Small breakfast area
location distance to subway comfortable rooms clean friendly staff breakfast better then expected
Excellent location as we wanted to have easy access to both Manhattan and the US Open Tennis. The subway lines are only two minutes walk from the hotel and from there 10 mins to Grand Central and 42nd Street. Just ideal for us. The rooms were very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a bit basic but plentiful and a good start to the day. Great to have free wifi throughout the hotel. Great value for money.
Limited lounge area so we felt either we had to be in the room or out of the hotel. Could have more healthy options for breakfast as mostly bread and waffle type food offered. Some cooked options were available.
Good location for us open and for the city subway close by, room comfortable bed big and comfy
Staff we're not helpful and didn't seem to know what they were doing, toilet kept blocking up, breakfast area was dirty and very little choice and to hot to sit and eat in
Located very close to subway station. The housekeepers were very nice. The room comfortable. Simple but had everything we needed in working order.
The front desk staff seemed indifferent, almost put out by simple questions. The younger staff were nicer. The more mature men need a vacation or early retirement.
Location is one block to the Queensboro Plaza for subway transportation.
No parking. Street parking almost impossible. Lots do not always have space. Breakfast was less than average.
Location is excellent, only a few stops on the subway to get to midtown manhattan. One good bar (baroness) nearby. Bed was large. Convenience store next door.
Breakfast relatively poor, loud music playing outside one night to 1am, but the staff tried to fix this promptly (took ages for police to arrive). Also dodgy neighbourhood, but if you only go to the subway its fine.
not sure about the breakfast ---the sausages looked dry, the hardboiled eggs were quite old, the scrambled eggs looked a bit random in its preparation, and the TANG (flavored orange drink) was unpalatable. Otherwise, the hotel itself---room, bed, TV---was fantastic!
Good price for one subway stop from midtown.
Breakfast is a joke.
Very close to the subway. Safe walk, even at night from the subway station. Very quiet. Microwave and refrigerator. This hotel was great for a vacation, so easy to get on the subway and get to midtown Manhattan (15-20 minutes), we came in from LaGuardia and left from JFK, easy subway transit to/from both. We will certainly consider using this hotel again for future visits.
No light blocking curtains. Breakfast was cold and slow to replenish items one morning, however, most days were fine. Internet connection extremely poor, could not do work for my job. Very few eating establishments in the immediate area, however, we ate all of our meals in Manhattan so this wasn't an issue for us.
It what a very clean room. The bed was comfortable and the view of manhattan was great. It was extremely easy to commute into the city. The subway station was a very short walk.
The walls are thin. And the people next door were very inconsiderate of the people around them. They were constantly running around the room and the halls to there family down the hall and opening and slamming the doors even into the early morning. But that was peoples doing not the hotels.
size of the room ,location that is close to metro station ,wi-fi,manhattan view..
breakfast hall is too small for a mid size hotel,we had to take our breakfast to the room as there was no space to sit.. the towels that were not used had stains on them and were almost grey
Big room, clean, nice breakfast
Wifi weak, no safety locker, early morning sunlight in our room
Very convenient location. The parking lot was a minute walk down the road and was very affordable. The subway was about a five minute walk. Not the most impressive room, but good enough. There was air conditioning and comfortable bed. Great view of the city and bridge. The continental breakfast was good enough. The staff was not the most personable but were helpful when we had questions. Overall it was a good and affordable stay.
The neighborhood, but that's not their fault.
The city view was absolutely amazing. The wi-fi signal was strong. The location of this hotel is very good, only 10 minutes from Manhattan and less than 30 minutes from the airport (LGA).
The housekeeper who busted into my room without knocking first. Also, the pillow cover was stained and when I asked for a new one I was told by the housekeeper that this was not her assigned room. I found it a bit rude. Other than that, everything went great.
location, wifi, clean, helpful frontdesk, possibility to print out boarding passes
breakfast was extremely poor (nb! no fresh fruits or vegetables)
Everything specially the staff
Staff is very cooperative...hotel is clean..overall its good...anybody can like this hotel...
No parking place...same meals every morning....
- Spacious room and bathroom. - Close to subway.
- Noise from the corridors at night, produced I believe by staff members. - Breakfast included ice cold scrambled eggs. How does one cook ice cold scrambled eggs?? I guess it's got to be frozen from earlier? Possibly leftovers? Blah.
Somewhat clean and location was accessible to the subway.
Too expensive for a hotel that had no parking. The Internet also wasn't working the next morning. Horrible.
