Room was spacious. location was good. Subway station very close. Breakfast is good But too many people and a few tables
Staff at the front desk are very unpolite and kind of rude. Do not count with any help from them. Definitely this point and the high prices are the worst about this hotel
Near Subway network. Fridge & Microwave in bedroom very useful. ATM machine in lobby. 24hr gas station next store useful. Waffle maker for breakfast excellent. Bedroom facilities very good with huge comfortable bed. Surrounding area not pretty but safe.
Breakfast dining room too small for number of quests. Hot food for breakfast poor quality. Reception and breakfast staff aloof. Bedroom carpet stained.
Great location, next to Queensboro Plaza Station, only a couple of minutes away from 5th Ave. Alsovery convenient for travellers arriving from JFK, using subway system.
Towels were not very clean during all of our 7-day staying here. Wifi reception at our room was very poor. Late at night there was a lot of noise coming from the lobby of the hotel. Hotel staff was not very friendly and when we were returning back to the hotel at night, no one was checking on us or greeting us.
Location, use this hotel as a base for NYC visit. Convenient to and from La Guadia and JKF.
The lack of parking
Reception Staff, where rude and unhelpfull
the location, the price, room size is ok
no storage room for temporarily dropping luggage when no rooms are available to check in
Location, location, location! The rooms were also clean and decent size (especially for NYC). I recommend the city view room for a nice view of the Bridge and Manhattan skyline.
The wi-fi signal was poor in my room. I've stayed at this hotel previously and I never had this issue so I think it was just the location of the room.
Breakfast - Staff had trouble keeping supply of food & utensils readily available. Location of toilet roll holder - puts your back out every time....!
location close to deli's, restaurants, coffe houses and 7 metro lines is great
Had some rough nights, being close to the Hall where it can get noisy. After two days we were moved to the 9th floor where it was nice and quiet. The metal doors don't really help, which is a shame.
Close to the subway, 20min to Manhattan. Nice, comfortable and clean bedrooms. Helpful staff, very good value for money.
The breakfast was really dificult to get, to much people for small area.
Reasonably priced, clean, modern
have to take a subway from NYC
Ubicación. desayuno. comodo
It´s very near to Manhattan by subway. Many people advised us to stay at Manhattan but the price was the twice more, which scared us. We chose this hotel at Long Island and that was the best choice. There are 3 subway near the hotel, the room has coffee maker, microwave and fridge and it's dark to sleep.
There was too much noise at our first room (215) because of the emergency stairs door that made too much noise when closed. I asked for another room and when we moved to room 916, this problem was solved. Another point is the weak signal of wifi, either at room 215 or at room 916.
The facility was very close to public transportation, the room did come with a fridge and microwave, check-in was fast, and overall, the room wasn't too bad.
The staff is VERY rude. On our first night the toilet did not work. It took over an hour to get any help and the staff's attitude is, "I am only an employee and there is nothing I can do." Horrible customer service. After filing a formal complaint to their corporate office, we did receive a 1-night refund.
The room served its purpose for sleeping while visiting NYC and it was with in close proximity to the subway.
The staff was EXTREMELY rude, talking to cell phones and face timing with other staff members who had just walked away from the desk, The shower head was not secured properly we had to screw it back on, there were stains on the carpet and instead of a fitted sheet on the bed it was a sheet draped over the mattress, the fan on the AC unit did not work well, when asked for extra pillows we were advised that they had none, the remote control only worked at a certain angle and the drapes did not close all the way. All in all I got what I paid for, its was cheap and close to the subway for a quick ride into Manhattan so if you are looking for a place to keep out of the elements and isn't rodent or insect infested then I would say be their guest however if you are looking to be treated as a guest and enjoy your accommodations then I would recommend looking else where.
The location (near subway)
The security, because when arrive to my country, i did'n found into my luggage a toy for my son, who i put into my luggage on sunday 5, when i went to the Intrepid Museum, and i dont' move my luggage from my room.-
Close to the subway Comfortable bed Breakfast available Helpful staff Very soundproof Windows opened for fresh air
It's good location, but not very clean in the rooms, i found somebody's hair on the floor. Anyway breakfast is really good, donuts, waffels, eggs, porridge and so on) room was really big and cosy) price is much lower than hotels in manhattan, so i think it's worth it!)
Location of the hotel was good.It was very near to subway station. The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast room was not big enough. Wifi was not strong.sometimes I couldnot find. It wasnot quite at all times at nights.
The location of hotel is perfect! Very near from line N of Subway, and there is some restaurants near. The room was very clean and the view of Manhattan is perfect.
The service at the hotel was terrible, all employees of the hall were grumpy. The breakfast is poorly organized
Location and room size were good.
good food, nice people
no shuttle service 2 or from airport with the cost of the room there should be service.
This hotel is just a block away from subway station. I arrived Around 2 pm and got checked-in right away. I stayed there for a week but I had my breakfast once only so I can't comment on what they offer daily.
Wi-Fi is not good in this hotel
The staff was outstanding and courteous it was a block from train station to dwntwn
