Very clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast spread. Good location for mid peninsula.
Good Facility; Good Breakfast
Attitude of some of Hotel Staff. Not that friendly and Service minded.
It's very unassuming, yet very clean, organized and friendly.
Had no dislikes... really!
The staff was especially attentive from check-in to check-out. Rooms were comfortable, neat & clean. Location was perfect for our activities.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Even the manager in the morning inquired if everything was OK, and how did we like our stay.
The room was ok but needed a major refresh. The light bulbs were flickering and the general cleanliness was just ok for a not cheap hotel.
I enjoyed every aspect of my stay.
There wasn't anything I did not like
The staff are great, kind, friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast is excellent.
The staff and breakfast
Room price - a bit high
We like everything in this hotel. This is the reason why we always stay here everytime we visit our children and grandchildren
Breakfast was good.
Far overpriced. Poor location, marginal cleanliness. Will stay at Holiday Inn Express next time.
Very friendly staff, clean and loved the chocolate chip cookies!
Luxurious, clean, high-class, friendly staff, good facilities.
Noise in the room - shower noise from neighboring rooms, water noise from the fountain in the inside plaza. Breakfast was "all plastic, nothing tasty" fast-food: no fresh cheese, no-fiber, no fresh ham, no fresh juice, no real condiments.
Very nice and clean rooms. Great breakfast. Staff helpful and nice. All the amenities to make my stay great!!
Various breakfast with oatmeal, rich yoghurt, fresh juices, hot meal, fruit salad, waffles, pastry and other stuff so there's always a good choice. Tee, coffee and hot water are available at any time of the day. Swimming pool is nice and empty most of time. The temperature is good enough to swim in the shade during the sunset (at least for those coming from northern countries) - note I've stayed in the mid of July. Nice kitchen in appartments with small fridge and microwave. Regularly passed trains clatter in about 100 meter distance from my window however it didn't distrurb much even at night. After 20 minute leaving for breakfast the room was usually discovered to be perfectly cleaned. Parking places are always available by the hotel. Definitely prefer Country Inn & Suites San Carlos to Sofitel San Francisco Bay that I found more pricey (around $200 a day) and less cosy. Also there's a lot to do around - nice cafes and shops while at Sofitel you have to drive somewhere in order to have a dinner since there's nothing available in a walk distance.
Had to prepay in advance - other hotels normally don't block the amount on your account. For some reason hotel couldn't accept Gold Mastercard so had to call and pass Visa card details. Fitness room is small and is porrly equipped. Imho average of $184 a day during 6 day stay could have been a little bit cheaper. Having a basin outside of bathroom was unusual however not critically. They should think of putting a couple hooks to hang towels aside the basin.
