Country Inn & Suites - West Seneca  

The hotel was easy to find and very clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful if we had a problem. The facilities were very nice and decorated with more flair than the usual insipid hotel room. The breakfast was very similar to those at other chain hotels, but the quality of the food was far superior to anyplace else where we had stayed.

There were no cookies in the morning. That is the only problem that we encountered.

Suggest a railing in the shower. I almost fell.

The breakfast was awesome. I loved the walk in shower. The room was super clean.

This hotel as of April 2013 even has a 'new' smell to it. When we entered our room, that was my first impression! We've never stayed in a hotel where it was so new and the staff was so accomodating. We asked if we could switch floors since we were booked on a 4th floor and preferred 1st floor. They did it for us without any hassles. Staff was super nice. Everything is so nice & clean. Big breakfast area with adequate breakfast. Waffles, oatmeal made up-not just instant in a pkg either-very nice bagle selection and various breads for toast, waffles etc. Nice big bowl of fruit etc. I'd stay here again in a heart beat and it's close to our son so we probably will !!

Our only dis like was the fact that all King rooms are 'showers' only. We prefer to have a bathtub to soak in while traveling and when we asked for this, we were told that only the 'queen' rooms have this. Since I had called ahead and requested a bath tub and had been told that 'all rooms have bathtubs', this part was very disappointing. So, know this while booking. If a bath tub is important to you? Book a queen room!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby were so clean and tastefully decorated. Locaqtion was central for our shopping needs.

If I had 1 Complaint it would be the very small towels supplied for swimming.

The Breakfast eggs were broken eggs that were over cooked! Was hopeing for Scrambled Eggs for breakfast. The eggs were horrible !!! While I was trying up eat my breakfast, the kitchen lady was spraying cleaner on the tables next to me and then that's all I smelled while I sat there and tried to enjoy my breakfast :(

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms were VERY clean as was the bathroom. The kids loved having freshly baked cookies at midnight!!! The beds and pillows were large and divine!!

We did not like the variety of breakfast provided. Fruits would have been a nice touch. Maybe some bacon and eggs

They looked up a destination on map quest for me. The breakfast was really good. They upgraded us to a king suite that was great for me as I rise early and did not wake up my husband. Cookies in the lobby were good.

Cleanliness and staff were exceptional.

The only thing I did not like was the beef hash offered as a side for breakfast with my eggs. I would have preferred bacon, ham or sausage.

The whole hotel was very clean and decore was brand new. Our room seemed like it was being used for the first time. It had that new house smell to it. Nice large flat screen TV. Bathroom was large which included a huge shower. Price included breakfast, which was decent. A+!!!!!!!

Manager did comp 1 room for the loud noisy nite.

I booked early and requested adjoining rooms. They called me back and advised me there were not adjoining rooms for the type of rooms we booked. I said fine, put us next to each other. I also requested early check in , which was ready when we arrived.....but my sister and I were on opposite ends of the hall! They gave us a room directly across from the dining area. That evening a large group of young baseball players occupied the room for pizza and fun...Loud, noisy. We called to the front desk several times to ask them to keep the door closed, to no avail...Very early in the morning, Ice, carts, etc were heard to set up for breakfast. Loud, noisy! Upon check out I told them it was an awful nite, and I had a 5 hour drive ahead. They did comp 1 of the rooms.

This facility has only been open for 3 weeks, so, everything was new and in excellent condition.

I'm not sure that this could be controlled, but, my children complained that the water in the pool was very, very cold. Made it difficult to enjoy the pool. Again, I'm not sure that this is something that could be helped, and it did not change my view of the overall wonderful experience we had a Country Inn & Suites - West Seneca.

They wouldn't honor my Club Carlson card and give me points for my stay because I booked through booking.com and not directly with the hotel. The hotel staff told me I should have called and they would have matched booking.com's rates and I would also have gotten my points. The rate that I paid was comparable and I stayed 5 nights, but just because I went through booking.com they wouldn't give me hotel points. The hotel staff also tried calling Club Carlson, but they still wouldn't honor.
