Staff went above and beyond to help - really fantastic. Location - pretty much in the centre of everything. Lovely cosy room and a great night's sleep!
Only downside is that hotel booked an overpriced chauffeur service to airport when all we requested was a taxi!
Friendly and helpful staff. Compact but adequate rooms. A very comfortable bed and quiet throughout the night. Good wifi reception. Good value relative to other hotels in this area.
The accommodating staff offsets any physical shortcomings presented by the age of the hotel. Realize that this not a new property and set expectations accordingly.
Very pleasant stay at the Plaza.
Prices went up significantly on an additional night. Booked two rooms and they only had one when I arrived.
Very convenient location for centre of Boston. Very quiet room. Would use it again
Our room very dark and small. Shower water was never hot and early in the morning took ages to warm up - mgt did say they would sort it out.
Location Room size Staff Coffee maker and fridge in room Free wifi
location is ideal. Room is neat and clean, though small in size.
Location Service Room was spacious
Price Gym didn't have too much
The front desk staff was very helpful, especially the day person. Our daughter wasn't feeling well and the woman at the front desk went out of her way to help. She also made great restaurant recommendations. We were very pleased.
RIght off Boylston Street and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy access from the subway (T)
Location Friendly staff Coffee machine and fridge in room also free coffee in lobby Free wifi
Room was quiet and comfortable. Wifi was provided and generally worked well.
For this price I am used to a little larger room and sitting area. Refrigerator did not work well and should not have been enclosed in cabinet with no exit for heat from coils. Switches for bedside lamps were difficult to find and operate at night.
Location.Very near main attractions. Walking distance to the park, Prudential biulding and skywalk, shopping centers, starmarket and metro station. Beautiful biulding. Great category. Complimentary coffee corner.
No safe box in the room.
Loved location to Fenway and good restaurant options within a couple blocks. Has Queen beds instead of doubles. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Room rate; however, apparently is competitive for the area.
The hotel is doesn't 4 stars
I loved the location, just off Boylston street, Copley square close by, Prudential tower, T station. The Panersa Café is ideal for breakfast 7 days a week with all the staff with strong Bostonian accents, loved it. The Hotel staff were so friendly, clean rooms also has Complimentary Wi-Fi and Cable TV. It was an excellent choice.
The price of the Hotel rooms were high judging by Irish and European rates but by American Standards it was fairly okay. There are Tourist taxes, City taxes and State taxes to navigate through too but every Hotel has to add these on.
Nice room, well equipped, clean.
Female desk clerk could have been more helpful.
Bed were very comfortable
shower head/control was a bit confusing, but we got help, so all was good!
Convenient for Amtrack, Metro, Shopping.
Room was big, including bathroom. Staff was excellent. Suzanne at the front desk is a gem as well the gentleman doing the valet parking. Location was perfect. I will definitely stay here again.
There wasn't anything not to like.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was relatively clean, but dingy for a Marriott.
The room for the price (approximately $660 total in the end) was NOT a good value. While I understood that it was a busy time in the city, the room layout was cramped, the room did not have its usual Marriott shine, and the furniture had stains (both fabric chairs in the room). Also there was no food service other than breakfast. I would not stay here again even with its close proximity to newbury st.
staff kindiness, location, room size, cleanliness
nothing (may be a bit too expensive on 24th May as it was celebration day
Staff worked very hard to accommodate some very demanding people traveling with us, staying in other rooms. Location was very convenient
The amenities were pretty minimal and facilities a bit dated for the high room rate. Parking rate was very high. Reasonable parking rates coupled with the proximity to the T would make the high room rate a bit more acceptable.
Location, Location, Location!!!
No Lobby to meet people in.
Great location. Comfortable rooms.
Construction across the street from the hotel, noise and truck traffic. Renovation inside the hotel, smells like wallpaper glue all over. Expensive breakfast for the variety offered. Expensive rooms.
