The description on Booking.com said there was a hot buffet breakfast, which they evidently haven't had in years. Since we especially wanted that, we were disappointed by the misinformation. The heating system was inflexible--really hot, and unable to get cooler. But the staff offered a fan, so that was nice. The hairdryer didn't work, but again the staff brought a working one pretty quickly.
Good location, and with a room on the 10th floor, a great view.
The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
Weather was rough. Nobody's fault , just winter in Boston
Much to see within walking distance
Everything was good.
Our stay was too short to really appreciate everything. It was also in the beginning of our months holiday, so can't specifically remember anything in particular that stood out or not
We loved the position
Great stay, great accommodations
Parking in line with public parking BUT way too expensive.
breakfast, for which one pays extra, was the blandest possible. Fortunately the Hotel next door has excellent breakfast, Also no TV menu available on TV.
staff very friendly, quiet, good size room
Excellent location and staff very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend to others.
Free Wi-fi did not work
Friendliness of staff seemed genuine...they remembered something I had asked about the previous day
breakfast choices uninspiring and croissant had to be returned and swapped for bagel as was inedible - server did however give us complimentary tea/coffee to compensate.
comfortable bed and quiet room as asked for, good location near Newbury St and Copley Sq.
The hotel charged incorrect amount but this was sorted by the manager immediately.
Great location. Overall, staff was helpful, especially Bernardon, the ?manager.
Breakfirst space looks small, and menu also not enough.
Staff and room cleanness are good.
The hotel is a bit worn but clean There was some construction going on that made it noisy ( street work )
Rooms are spacious and comfortable Staff is friendly and helpful Cannot beat the location and better pricing that some of the hotels in this area
Was woken up by construction on the street on a Monday morning. We were checking out early so it wasn't a big issue.
Excellent location; Walkable distance to anywhere in downtown Boston; accessible to subway; Friendly staff; clean room
Sleeping in Boston is very expensive
Very central hotel but in a quiet street Comfortable bedroom and good services. I enjoyed to stay in that hotel
Only downside is that hotel booked an overpriced chauffeur service to airport when all we requested was a taxi!
Staff went above and beyond to help - really fantastic. Location - pretty much in the centre of everything. Lovely cosy room and a great night's sleep!
The accommodating staff offsets any physical shortcomings presented by the age of the hotel. Realize that this not a new property and set expectations accordingly.
Friendly and helpful staff. Compact but adequate rooms. A very comfortable bed and quiet throughout the night. Good wifi reception. Good value relative to other hotels in this area.
Prices went up significantly on an additional night. Booked two rooms and they only had one when I arrived.
Very pleasant stay at the Plaza.
Our room very dark and small. Shower water was never hot and early in the morning took ages to warm up - mgt did say they would sort it out.
Very convenient location for centre of Boston. Very quiet room. Would use it again
Location Room size Staff Coffee maker and fridge in room Free wifi
location is ideal. Room is neat and clean, though small in size.
Price Gym didn't have too much
Location Service Room was spacious
The front desk staff was very helpful, especially the day person. Our daughter wasn't feeling well and the woman at the front desk went out of her way to help. She also made great restaurant recommendations. We were very pleased.
