Location, newer clean rooms, love the bathrooms, good tv channel choice and a fridge! All the staff in all positions were friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
The last two visits this year the bed sheets had stains on them and the duvet was stained. Both times looked like blood stains. I know the sheets had been laundered, but all the same. And both times we also found hairs on the sheets after they were turned down. Light out over writing desk. Minor details, but could be addressed at the staff meeting in the mornings before they hit the floor. I would love to see newspapers in the "store" or at the front desk. Especially on Sundays! FYI, I worked for Marriott for 17 years in engineering and then management.
Room was clean. Location was good.
Slept on daybed - was uncomfortable. No sheets or blanket in room. Had to ask 3 times for sheets and blanket. Charged me $40 each day for additional "damages fee". That was ridiculous and I will never stay in this place again. When asked, they clerk said all hotels do this. (NOt). Terrible.
The location was great
The spa was not clean
in our room we had a thread worn chair, I was surprised to see that; the staff should frequent the rooms to see what needs replacement
I didn't like view of roof horrible location for room
Security was rude and disrespectful to older kids .
Great friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Fantastic price.
Service was excellent and breakfast was amazing! Everything was truly great!
Only that the air conditioner was a little loud.

Very nice place to stay
i liked that it was on the water and within walking distance of a nice restaurant
there was a long hair on the inside of the shower curtain and another one on the wall of the shower - didn't like the restaurant sitting area - very small, no privacy, part of the lobby
The location was good - close to the old downtown core, next to major roads.
It's not that I didn't like this, per se, it was just a little unexpected and odd. This hotel reminded me of colonial era hotels I've stayed at in Asia - built with opulence and luxury in mind, but no longer able to maintain that luxury. Consequently, fountains become planters, gardens become overgrown, courtyard benches are removed and never replaced (their pads sitting empty as silent reminders), sections of the hotel are boarded up and unused. Overall, the hotel was fairly well maintained, but still felt run-down because of those things. One other thing - the guest room corridors also have a vaguely "shining" vibe to them. I couldn't put my finger on it precisely, but walking down those long corridors with the dizzyingly repeating carpeting pattern, the floor seems to stretch out in front of you like it might go on forever - I didn't "dislike" that either :-)
Location--Along the River Walk which was beautiful!!
Mattress was very uncomfortable!! I got very little sleep and woke up with a back ache.
