This stylish Manhattan hotel is located in the Theater District and is 3 blocks from Times Square. It offers a 24-hour gourmet pantry and rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
Score from 2500 reviews Very good
Location, cleanliness and staff were very good, including the valet parking (albeit pricey)...
The room is very small and the elevators were not always working properly
Great staff and location
The bedding was plasticky and incredibly uncomfortabe
Location. Nice 2nd floor lounge/meeting place open all night. Cozy but stylish rooms with very tall maximal floor to ceiling windows.
Like most US hotels no standard breakfast. Had problem with toilet water pressure on 39th floor (needed maintenance at 3am!). Room rates fluctuate massively (June cost is 2.5x February cost!).
The bed, location, staff, cleanliness
Small room, normal price is expensive compared to Booking.com deal, decorations a bit out-dated
Just north of the Theater district and south of Lincoln Center. Wviolta was so welcoming as she checked us in. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows. the view from to 19th floor or higher is very good.
Friendly staff, location and over feel of the hotel
Location is in the heart of everything. The hotel is the tallest hotel in the US. The hotel was very reasonably priced and everyone was helpful. The room was decent sized, felt very fresh, and clean. The view from the window was great as well. I don't think there could be a bad view from this building.
The beds were harder than I'm used to. I have memory foam at home. The sheets felt like they were starched so they did not breath very well.
The bed is good and comfortable
I asked from last night that whether I can early checkin and asked on 9am that day again but I have waited for a whole day until 5pm to get into the room. They said they were cleaning the room and they thought they have told me but the truth is I know nothing and sitll wait for a long time after they finished cleaning because they did not tell me they finished. The ckeckin time is wirtten on the website is from 3pm but I did can not checkin till 5pm
- Location - Staff in night shift during my resident there - Facilities like Wireless
Breakfast is almost nothing
The room was suppose to be big, it turned to be too tiny for three traveling together.
3 min from Times Square. Modern, comfortable, clean rooms. Very good value!
Great position and very helpful staff . Would definitely book again
Not impressed with the bar/bistro area . Reminded me of a poor airport lounge
We liked the cleanliness of the hotel and that it still looked like it was built yesterday. The breakfast location was nice and clean as well. The perfect choice for families.
The rooms with double beds were very small, but all hotels in Manhattan are like that. The blankets had a lot of starch, making a lot of noise at night. They should provide a few more facilities.
Nice clean, comfortable hotel. Good for the price and it being nyc. I would stay here again.
Staff were poor with recommendations of where to go or eat. They had to be prompted to refill items in room.
No breakfast included for the price you pay. Having to pay $6 for water. Pathetic!
Location, comfortable beds, newly renovated rooms. I would stay here again for the great value!
Renovations not quite complete, like paint job sloppy.
We had booked a room with a city view and ours didn't! Nevertheless we had plenty of views whilst walking through the City!
Took my wife to NYC for the first time and figured it's central location would be good for most things. Was not disappointed with location, could get to most trains right away, bar across the street was awesome and we really enjoyed being able to walk to Time Square and our shows quickly. The staff was adequate, not anything to write home about but did their jobs well and ensured the room was clean each day when we returned from our time about the city. Really this hotel is only worth anything because of it's location otherwise I would say it's average for NYC.
The rooms are extremely small, and despite us requesting a higher floor for our 6 night stay we were placed on the 9th floor, completely blocked by surrounding buildings - so the view was of no consequence to us (which would have been the only other selling feature). The cafe area was completely inadequate - now given this is NYC so I guess there is a limited need for good in hotel service, but I was just disappointed. Hotel phones never worked in our room and felt that we certainly overpaid as far as room size and total value goes.
Location is perfect, 30 seconds from Letterman Theater, 10 min walk to Central Park... Cool room [a bit small-but very good] and that great meeting place, eatery, lounge on the 4th floor. Superb place to set up shop if you arrive on an early flight and need to hit the ground working on the computer. It's like a american express lounge at jfk. I will stay here again.
Liked the location. Walking distance to everything (including Times Square) and also close to the train lines. The staff were friendly and very accomodating with all my many requests. I even got an early check-in.
Our room was very clean and modern. We upgraded to a corner queen room and it was worth the money due to the size of the room and the views surrounding us. The reception team were very helpful only 1 of their team members let them down. Breakfast was wonderful although improvements would be to include more of a selection and perhaps a buffet.
Unfortunately the service we received wasn't 10/10 due to the fact that nobody helped us with our luggage when we arrived at the hotel. Some members of reception were not particularly helpful or approachable. The WiFi was free which was great although poor during our stay as it kept breaking.
The hotel attendant that fixed my reservation.
I didn't like the fact that booking.com provided information that doesn't exist at the hotel and the fact the hotel tax wasn't included in my final cost nor the part that I would have to pay an additional reservation fee.
