We liked that there was shopping and restaurants within in walking distance and our choices for both was not limited. Th staff was so friendly and helpful with answering any of our questions.
Did not like that we had to pay to park without knowing if their was an option for free parking.
Location and service.
Room a bit small and AC was average.
Proximity to American University, which was the purpose of our visit.
Two things: (1) Paying to park in ridiculously small spaces (2) No complimentary breakfast at that nightly rate?
Free wi-fi and computer use and in room conexions. Nice Osteria with good food at decent price, but should serve coffee in regular cup not in Starbuck' s.
Twice, in 3 days, our room was not cleaned on time. MIssed a wake-up call
The bed was very comfortable and the wi-fi was no-hassle. Staff were polite and helpful.
The semicircular driveway at the entrance was being remodeled. This meant loading and unloading our car in the rain. In fact, it wasn't even clear where to pull up. Isn't there a better way to set up a temporary arrangement until the work is done? It seems as if little thought went into it.
The room was comfortable, and the food I got in room service very good.
Poor water pressure, and inadequate shampoo etc.
construction in front
Location was excellent
Room was right by the elevators and could hear them all night. There was construction going on and was hard to get in They gave us a bottle of shampoo that was only 1/2 full.
Within walking distance to retail, metro and local attractions.
Guests pay for parking, but that might be the norm in D.C.
the information as to parking was misleading. it suggests parking was free for guests but $15 for non-guests. the check-in person was slightly rude and abrasive.
Cost and cleanliness
Friendly Staff Comfortable Setting Cleanliness
Showers instead of bath/tub combo
Great Staff, good facilities, good food. Room was a bit small for the price, but I can easily let go of that.
The location...and that's the ONLY redeeming feature. The staff were nice but not out of the ordinary...I hardly saw them, actually.
The fact that there was no bottled water in the room, no complimentary breakfast, and average maintenance. Basically I thought for the price, it was a rip off.
pay to park
Loved my stay! I am super picky about hotels & this hotel exceeded my expectations. The best part for me was how clean the room was! No random hair in the bathroom or shower! Just clean!! Room size was great and had so many outlets! Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The staff was wonderful. Very polite. Parking wasnt bad $20 for your full stay....which compared to most dc/md hotels is basically free! Wifi was free, another perk. Oh & the full length mirror was awesome!! My room was right beside the elevator & I never heard it! -Nicole, Richmond,VA
Wish the kitchen & bar stayed open alittle later but im up at all times of night so normal people shouldnt have a problem with the hours!!!
Rooms are very compact
Easy in easy out
Mattress was too hard
helpful staff, great location
little pricey for the accomodations which, although clean, are a bit old.
very helpful staff
the room smelled a little funny and you couldn't open the windows.... and the heating was loud.
FREE WIFI! Makes life so much easier. Good food, great location near lots of shopping.
Very cozy and generously decorated rooms, large bathroom, excellent WiFi, coffee machine at room, tastefully arranged and spacious lobby
the room was too noisy and I submitted a complain to the reception. some drunk people were making a lot of noise
