Very close to different eateries and bars.
Paying for parking although there was no alternative since it was downtown.
The noise from teenagers in room next to us and across the hallway
I liked the convenience to the sports facilities and access to public transportation.
Number of people milling about in front of property. Many needed the assistance of local social services, instead guests from the hotel were being subjected to requests for handouts. This may put some people off from returning to this property.
Parking - You must valet and it is $28 a night. There should at least be an alternative.
Location was great as we had tickets to a show at the House of Blues.
No good place to lounge in the hotel. Bar was very minimal and closed when the show was over. The pool area closed at 10 pm so we could not enjoy the outside night sky in the evening. Took a walk around the block that te hotel sits on and hobos were at the back of the hotel that were disturbing to have to walk around without being harrassed.
It was wonderful..staff was great and very helpful
Many people out of gate asking for money
The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful.
The Room was Great
The was great
The gentleman who checked us in, Homer, was especially hospitable and gracious. Our complimentary breakfast was a delightful surprise. A great rate for a lovely downtown stay.
Traffic and construction around entrance made for a mess at times.
Perfect localization! Nice, clean and big rooms, very good internet access, helpful staff.
Nothing to complain about.
Clean and staff
Ice Machine on 5 floor did not work
Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and quiet, bed was very comfortable.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and the price was reasonable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
Slept very well on a comfortable bed. Appreciated free the wi-fi.
The hotel is in a convenient location downtown but between the homeless and the people waiting for buses on the corner of an otherwise deserted street, I didn't feel all that comfortable walking in and out of the hotel at night.
Attractively decorated room and common spaces, though lobby a bit small. Extremely comfortable beds, good climate control in room. Location convenient to metro, walking distance (1/2 mile) to theater district. Staff excellent.
The room was smaller than advertised. The only available mirror was in the bathroom. No hook on bathroom door. Amenities were minimal, e.g., had to request a hair-dryer; few hangers in very small closet, no safe in closet.
We witnessed two incidents of the valet parking attendant wrecking a vehicle. I do not know the outcome of the incident, however, it left us worried because our vehicle had been valet parked earlier.
Friendly front of house staff.
The level of noise within the room caused by some sort of extractor fan was pretty awful. I had to wear ear plugs to shut the noise out which was continual. There was no means of shutting it off within the room and a plea to the front desk to look into the problem seemed to fall on deaf ears, I.e. no resolution of the problem and no feedback.
It was very nice & spacious room... Checkout was simple & they held my bags until after our event so we could remain parked in vallet.
Tub was TINY and I'm a small person.... Drinks & vending were high dollar.... And lots of homeless vagrants asking for money outside the hotel...
