Very friendly staff, very clean and worth the value
everything was great
Area was convienient
We liked the easy access to the plaza. It was a straight route through residential neighborhood, without a lot of heavy traffic. The staff was very pleasant.
Everything was great. Clean, comfortable, modern, helpful and friendly staff. I will highly recommend it.
I guess the only bad thing was that breakfast wasnt included, but it wasnt a big deal
It is close to I 435 to go and come from the places we wanted to go to.
We were there 4 nights and we did not have room service the entire stay.
All the staff from the front desk to house keeping were very nice. The look of the hotel was very inviting and comfortable.
The prices of the Bistro were a little over priced for 5here food and beverages.
Great food. Easy access to print boarding passes.
Ice machine in hallway kept waking me up.
That breakfast was not included. You spend 100+ dollars to sleep somewhere the breakfast should be included.
Great location for traveling South of the city
The beds were quite uncomfortable, no coffee condiments In the basket and some shady characters were on premise trying to sell drugs
Nice quite location, very clean, very friendly and nice staff. I would rate this is a 4 star hotel. Will definitely stay here again.
Room could use a a microwave and bigger refrigerator.
The staff was really helpful with directions.
Long travel times for restaurants.
Location was perfect for ease of travel and proximity to family in the area.
A bit noisy on our last night at the hotel, but that was the fault of lax parental control in the rooms above us. Happily things quieted down by 11:30 pm.
Very Comfortable bed, clean room, love the Paul Mitchell products!!
We waited over an hour for our breakfast which we paid extra for and never received it! We finally checked out and left the hotel considering we wasted over an hour waiting on it and our drive home was over ten hours!
Nice interior courtyard
Room smelled, frig barely got cool, coffee maker was 1 cup at a time, matress and pillows were TERRIBLE and no extra linen, bathtub was dirty, furnishings were old and couch was tattered and hard. Room booked for two was to include breakfast...however it was predetermined items for only one!! Definately overpriced for what you get.
Great place, great price, great location!
Pull out sofa was a twin bed and the leg at end was broke.
Wonderful bed and the option of a balcony.
Free breakfast not offered, I feel for the price (versus others), free breakfast should be included.
Size of room, location, and cleanliness of room.
Meals and snacks were very pricy.
The location was very convenient for the places we were going while in Kansas City
The only negative I had was that the Extended Stay next door had people outside yelling and talking loudly most of the night.
I liked that everything was clean and comfortable. With some hotels, even though the have a desk, for example, it's not easy to sit at or the chairs in the room aren't comfortable, etc. Here, everything was not only comfortable but the layout of the rooms seemed to be very intuitive. Also, and this is odd, everyone seemed VERY happy to be working there. I stayed three days and never once did I see any kind of bad attitude or even a "generally neutral" attitude.
It was a little far outside of the center town, but still only 20-30 minutes. Also, the walls weren't soundproofed very well, but it was quiet during my stay.
Asked for extra towels when making reservation and did not receive them
The staff receptionist and manager were often apologetic. This quickly lost it's sincerity because "I'm sorry" was always followed by "But there is nothing we can do".
The best thing about our stay was that the receptionist and manager apologized each time there was an issue. The tub was dirty in the first room they gave upon arrival so they gave me another room; they charged my card for more than I booked through booking.com-they apologized but said they couldn't do anything about it. The cleaning staff was cold and would not take the time for a simple hello-looked very rough and unpleasant as well. This caused me to feel uneasy about having valuables in the room so I took them to the car when I needed the room cleaned. The Bistro was open only ONCE during the three days we stayed. Overall, I would never go back. I really wish I would have chosen a different hotel for my weekend.
Nice size room good bed
Room did not have sofa as advertized. Just a single chair for reading.
Staff very helpful. Nice pool & hot tub, but they needed some sound absorber stuff in the pool area - noisy. Bistro was convenient, but with only one worker - it was slow when several folks were ordering at the same time... especially in morning. Liked the patio door to the outside. We would have made use of it in nice weather.
Would have preferred a free breakfast bar to the bistro. In the morning you are trying to get out and going.
