It was great! I love that it has Starbucks in the lobby and that you could run the fan on the air/ heater unit all the time if you need the white noise like I do!
The pool was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Location was also within driving distance to many restaurants.
The key cards had to be reactivated several times. The restaurant in lobby is a joke. Also the rate was increased from 119.00 a night (weekend rate) to 299.00 a night (weekday rate).
Staff was very professional and friendly.
Grease on floor, hair that was not mine in bathroom. Obvious that maid only made up bed and replaced towels.
Facilities were clean and well built. Room was large and well kept. No surprises, and everything worked like it was suppose to.
Hard to get to from the wrong direction. I just started driving across the SAMs parking lot to get there.
I liked how friendly the staff was and how clean the room, pool and whole facility was.
No continental breakfast.
Great location and comfortable bed
That we didn't get a complimentary breakfast even though we got there before the scheduled close time. In the reservation it stated the stay would come with one and we made the res. for that specific reason.
The room was great. Very spacious and lots of amentities. Had a balcony overlooking the pool so nice view also. Breakfast was great with alot of choices.
The staff was not friendly. I had to ask for a receipt and they seemed very put out that I asked. The smell was awful when we came in Saturday night, it smelled like a sewer.
Nice clean rooms are important to us. Our room was great! Everything was new and fresh looking. King bed was comfortable, and while there were a lot of pillows already on the bed, there were additional pillows as well. We didn't find an extra blanket which would have been nice but I'm sure if we had called and requested one that would not have been an issue. Loved the sofa sitting area, the desk work station, WIFI and the flat screen TV that pulls out on a mounted stand so you can easily view from the sofa or the bed. Room as a microwave, personal coffee pot, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board and hair dryer for you. An unexpected WOW was the large glass walk-in shower with a bench seat and rails to help you if needed. Aside from everything about the room being A+ we were greeted with enthusiasm when we arrived, they had rolling luggage carriers for our convenience when checking in, there is a small snack/drink area where you can purchase a few wanted/needed items you may not have but need like same personal size tummy and headache meds and other items. The lobby has a nice open seating area with at least 1 or 2 mounted TV's there. Soon to have a restaurant and Starbucks open inside but it wasn't open when we stayed there. The continental breakfast was great with muffins, bagels, waffles, cereals, yogurt, coffee, and juices. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone needing a nice hotel while in Midland.
There was nothing we didn't like. While it would have been nice to have an extra blanket in the room, we didn't ask for one and while it would have been nice to have the restaurant and Starbucks open it will be very soon and they provided us with coffee in the room and at the breakfast so we were good to go.
The lobby had remodeling underway.
I didn't like that when I booked my appointment I was not made aware of the remodeling that was being done in hotel......the lobby was totally being remodeled.
We booked a king bed with added prepaid breakfast. When we checked In they gave us our room keys and we went up to our room and it was a double bed room. I called and they said that they ran out of king siE bed rooms. The next morning we went for breakfast and it was all conte intel because they said they were re doing the kitchen. They didn't bother to tell us about either problem until we had to ask about them.
