Courtyard Portland City Center  

Out of 14 nights on the road at really low end motels, this was the worst bed. the bed had a giant crater in the middle and I had to sleep on the edge. Thye offered to switch rooms but what was the guarantee that there would be a better bed if this one was still in use. Also the pillows were all rock hard - this is fine for propping up in bed to read but impossible for sleeping. A courtyard Mariott will not be a first choice hotel in the future.

Location was ideal in the Pearl District, walking distance to most attractions, food trucks around the corner, simple decor

Parking is always a hassle in Portland, $30/day for valet is the going rate

Great Location Comfortable room

I arrived early having just gotten off a train from Chicago. They provided me with a room which made my stay that much more enjoyable.

Your hotel was awesome. Loved it and will return again. The staff was great, valet guys were friendly and hotel very clean. Great bar too.

The hotel was within walking distances of many restaurants and stores. It is also environmentally conscious.

The room and bathroom were rather small and the mattresses were too soft.

Good location. Friendly staff. They gave us excellent advice about things to do in the area. The beds were very confortable.

Our refrigerator didn't really work properly. We ended up throwing away food we had intended to eat for breakfast. However, nearby Starbucks solved the problem.

Wheelchair roll in shower was the best as it can be. Vallet parking was excellent and rest of staff also. I'd recommend this hotel to families, handicapped persons and so on...

Valet staff was friendly and very efficient.

Over-priced for what we received. For the same price we got a suite at the Marriott Residence Inn on the waterfront. Unfortunately, had to stay downtown as no rooms available at the waterfront on the days we were in town (for medical treatment). My husband has Alzheimer's and asked for assistance in using our calling card to call my cell phone. Instead, the staff helped him dial from the room - almost $100.00 charge for a 15 minute call!

The Courtyard Marriott was adequately located within walking distance of several eating facilities and drinking establishments as we were there for our daughter's 21st Birthday weekend.

We didn't like the fact that our hotel room window had a great view of the next building's brick wall. Also, our check-in time was supposed to be 3:00pm and when we arrived, our rooms were not ready. We left our bags there and were told they would call when our rooms were ready (25- 30mins). After ~ 1hr, we stopped back in and our rooms were ready but no one had bothered to call us.

Dirty bathroom and the bedding and room were not worth $169 a night. Friends of mine were staying at the Hilton for ten dollars less a night and it had really nice bedding and beautiful furniture. I use to be a fan of marriott Courtyard's but this was not a good experience. they seemed apologetic about the bathroom but that was all they said.

I love this hotel and came back again. The design, staff, space, free coffee, free wifi, good restaurant, close by food stalls. One suggestion would be that when a family with small kids request connecting room, please try your best to accommodate them. It was quite a hassle to run from room to room.

When I called the reception reporting that my 80year old mother fell out of the bath tub, the hotel staff has no knowledge of hospital facility in the city and appeared to be more concerned of legal responsibility of the hotel than the well being of my mother. I asked what is a good hospital for orthopedic patients, he could not answer and did not make any efforts or follow up. There was no medic or nurse in the hotel.

great value for an excellent location and wel appointed room

Facilities were very nice. Not like other courtyards. Very much a city hotel made for business travelers.

Parking was $30 a night at hotel. It was valet, so access was limited as well.
