Great location! Great staff! Easy check in!
Wish we could have opened a window on the upper floor...if only just a crack!
Everything except parking
Valet parking is difficult entrance
Location was perfect for walking to AT&T Park, restaurants, easy access to freeway, quiet, great city view, spacious room; though only four inches, the window actually opened for fresh air.
Valet was hectic and confusing; cars going both ways and in and out of the same driveway. Small vanity in the bathroom area. Expensive breakfast buffet, just the basics, though the wait staff was very friendly and very professional.
Beds very comfortable.
The valet parking at 1 am was understaffed. We had to get out of car, find someone then they told us to leave our car on the street with our keys in it!
We liked the hotel pretty much, the staff was extremely pleasent.
No cheese were on the breakfast. The menu would have been more extensive including the variety of chees.
it was close to the ball park
price was as much as 4-star hotel
The location was perfect and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety each morning. Hotel was clean and well kept.
Rooms were dark and poorly lit. We got our room at a roughly 50% last minute discount and it still seemed crazy expensive for such a basic hotel room. Things like the bottled water being charged at $3.25 a bottle is absurd when paying $200-$300 per night...
Car service was fast and courteous. Bartender was friendly.
1. Pool was a joke. A teeny pool in a very small glum room. I couldn't even stay in the tiny room because the chlorine smell was intoxicating. 2. Front desk told my husband there were no changing tables in the men's bathroom, so he went to a discreet booth in the very small and pathetic restaurant to change our daughter, where he was belittled by a server who informed him that there was, in fact, a changing table in the bathroom. 3. Our 1 bedroom suite looked nothing like the picture offered and the carpets were dirty and had bleach spots. 4. In the room next to ours were very very loud teenagers smoking Marijuana non stop. 5. We had no linen service. 6. The one free cable channel offered for children did not come in. The pay channels for children also did not work. We notified the front desk, they could not have care any less. Not rude, just indifferent.
The place quiet and closer downtown
The outlet fot charger computet or phone it"s bad and the t.v. channels its only pay
The location, not a good area , didn't feel safe leAving the hotel at night...
The location to AT&T Park
The price of the room!!!
We like Marriott hotels in general and this was just one of your typical Marriott's. It was clean and comfortable, but that is really all I can say. As already stated, your typical Marriott.
We were visiting San Francisco on vacation and chose to stay at the Marriott downtown thinking that the price was better than the wharf. As it turns out, the location was not convenient to the wharf, the price was higher since the parking fee was so high, and we even got taxed for the construction on the building across the street according to one of the employees. After reviewing all the fees and the parking fee, the wharf cost would have been better and much more convenient.
Excellent comfy king beds. Starbucks in the hotel. Reliable fast WiFi. Clean and a nice small bar in the main floor lobby area.
$54 USD a night for valet parking was very pricey and no options for non-valet parking.
Location relative to shopping and dining. Also, close to the pier. Nice to get out and walk to where we wanted to go.
Extreme price for parking.
construction all around
A bit expensive
How comfortable the staff made you feel during our stay.
Just about everything. only problem was having to go around the block to drive in. Especially liked the walking distance to AT&T park. Everyone was friendly and courteous and couldn't have been more helpful.
The friendly and curtious Staff.
No parking options other than vallet
Lobby was nice, had computers and printer to print our boarding passes which was helpful.
We stayed at cheaper hotels with more amenities...there was not a safe or fridge in the room.
staff was friendly; appreciated the starbucks in lobby and large and comfortable lobby area; beds were comfortable; and location was perfect.
when I booked on booking.com, my total was $438, so I was surprised when my final bill was $550, over $100 more. I also didn't receive a receipt from Marriott, either by email or at the front desk, breaking down the taxes and fees to show how the final bill became $550.
Staff were friendly and helpful, room was quite nice, no charge for wifi was nice, and the overall experience was lovely. I also enjoyed the location, the seemingly temperpedic mattresses, the endearing city streets view, and the the general interior design as well.
Valet parking costs enough to feed two starving families in another country for a month, and no parking was offered whatsoever other than that. I would simply advise that Valet should direct someone to the nearest/cheapest parking location/lot. Also, why did your restaurant, and even the attached Starbucks, both close down by noon? As a late-riser, this was very disappointing.
