Staff was great and rooms were clean
Thought rooms were bigger looked at wrong marriot on map
Very old in need of work.
small rooms that had a connecting door
I liked the warm salt water pool and the valet service. However for $33 a day. Very steep!
Walked into initial room exhausted from travel. Just wanted to dive into bed. But when pullout bed was out, no sheets on it. And blood stains and what looked like poop! Luckily they moved our room. But in new room, tub couldn't stay full and was stuck in shower mode. Used to be our favorite hotel, but no longer the case!
Very friendly staff and very helpful
The location. Friendly Staff. Bed was soft.
How loud it was, construction. Shower was very strange. Very small room.
Location, price, cleanliness
Location and excellent staff.
The carpets in the hall and bedrooms were disgustingly dirty. The bathroom also needed a deep clean. It was very small, no room for toiletries.
Close to most attractions and friendly staff
Wifi not working in room
Very Friendly staff. Upgraded to a suite (sofa sleeper and queen in "Tower" building thru parking lot) instead of king room for 1 adult 1 child. Nice balcony. Lobby area and pool were pleasant and updated. Room was clean. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable. Small lively bar in lobby. Quick trip from airport (if you take the 'back way' without traffic lights)...better than an airport hotel for a layover. Breakfast can be found in the building or across the street. Short stroll to beach/shops.
Sofa sleeper in desperate need of new mattress. Like all Waikiki properties the hotel gets lots of wear & tear and the type/age of construction doesn't lend itself to a flawless renovation, so, things can be slightly awkward (small shower, wall unit AC, etc.). Could have used a mini-bar (we arrived 11pm and wanted a snack and beverage without having to go to the bar), but there are 2 convenience shops next to hotel if we had time...
Close walking distance to shops and beach. Only on a stopover for 1 night so needed to be close. Didnt have time for the pool but it looked very inviting.
The bed was comfortable and close to allot of good restaurants. Nice walk to the beach
The size of the room was way to small, never ever seen anything this small. Staying on Waikiki Beach for the same money now and on the Beach and 3X bigger room. When we asked for a better room not so noisy, they said no you booked with booking.com - this is the rooms you would get through them, if we would of booked through them it would of been cheaper and would of got a better room, I guess we won't book through booking again if thats how they places feel. They never asked us about our rewards number and unfortunatly after we checked out we lost the 2 nights of rewards.
no breakfast, size of deluxe room was small, extremely small shower!
Rooms are old and not well maintained. Main hotel block is ok but rooms in the alternative block are terrible. No room service and no facilities in the hotel. Pool is small and not really usable.
I did like that it was close enough to walk to the beach. The bedding was the great Marriott stuff that i am used too. I try to always stay at a Marriott when I travel because I love the bed.
The wifi didnt work at all from my iPhone, iPad or Macbook. I was forced to use LTE the whole time. They turned our cards off 3 times through the trip which they made new ones for us yes but it was a hassle to walk across the street to get they remade. Also the elevator was really slow.
Location was good! Value for money average we have stayed at better hotels in Waikiki for less so overall wasn't really impressed and won't be looking at staying there in the future.
The lift was very slow when it was working it would be unserviceable most of the time due to people holding it too long when getting in or out of it with luggage
Warm salty pool Excellent travel agent (Allison) Good service (cleaning, reception)
No mirrors except the bathroom The pull out bed very uncomfortable The carpet, curtains very old
Excellent location and friendly staff.
Small rooms and stained carpet.
Staff was great. Efficient, helpful and very friendly
Rooms are in need of updating. Carpet is old and the rooms needs painting
This was a great place for the price. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was great and helpful with anything we needed. This hotel is located right in the middle of everything and easy to get to shopping, the beach and restaurants.
The rooms are small and the bathrooms are small.
No microwave in room, and no free parking
Free wifi, no resort fee
Carpet need to be steam clean at least , shower not clean , coffee maker was leaking
the location, the hot pool, the oasis around the pool with chairs to relax, valet parking for 33 USD/day.
relatively noisy outside around 6-7 in the morning.
Advertised .1 mile to International Market but the market isn't there anymore
Service is nice
room is too smal
