Room was very small.
Are for breakfast is too small at peak times.
Located in the central of Washington, close to Chinatown metro station and walk to all major sceneray spots. The facility is pretty good, very spacious room with everything I need. The bed is pretty comfortable and the sound-proof also gurantee a good sleeping. The staff is also friendly. I'll stay here again during next visit in Washington.
Nothing. Everything is good.
Every person that worked for the hotel was FANTASTIC!!!!! I wish more people cared about their job like these folks. I will stay at the hotel any chance I get.
Friendly Staff, Good location,
Expense of Parking
I didn't stay too long but I love virtually all that I saw and experienced at the hotel.
With the current charges, I sincerely think the hotel will do well to add free breakfast.
Fantastic location. Lovely sized room for family of four for five nights- thank you, Britney, for your thoughtful consideration and help, on the phone, prior to our arrival. Enjoyed the free offering of delicious, refreshing lemonade and cookies late afternoon.
Concierge jocelyn appeared to have no knowledge on public transport or the needs of the less physically able. Swimming pool was tiny and appeared to us to be too public. No hotel restaurant for breakfast and the outlet in the basement lacked choice.
Loved the check-in experience! Karen at the Front Desk was charismatic, informative, and efficient. Concierge was proactive in offering assistance and gave us good ideas to visit during our short stay. The bed was very comfortable and was prepared with my foam-only request before my arrival, which happens rarely in my travels.
Service at the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant was slow and fairly disinterested in our table. It took over 15 minutes to even be greeted after sitting in the bar area, and the restaurant was not packed.
Staff is very friendly and helpful
Elevator sensor to go upstairs to the room did not work
Close to everywhere I needed to be. Nice to have the hot tub, pool, and workout center. The attached restaruant had good food, video, and prices. Fast, effecient check-in and check-out. I'll be back.
Price was a little high - though not out-of-line
Room and bed linens clean and comfortable
$44 per day to park was way too expensive. Valet parking was only option and it took at least 15 minutes to get your car. When trying to check in I waited on street at least 15 minutes - not enough room for vehicles to check in or not enough valet attendants.
It was a reasonable place to stay for business. The breakfast down stair was just fine and the wait staff was wonderful
The food from room service was horrible that I ordered for dinner. I sent it back and asked for a refund. The meat was raw. VERY BAD.
The bed was super comfortable and the location was right in the middle of everything; easy access by walking at to the metro. The staff was very helpful.
The room did have a bit of a strange layout. There was a pillar in the middle of the room and you had to walk all the way into the bathroom to close the door.
Location near museums and restaurants nearby
The pool is small. When I booked online, the page should show after tax total charge, otherwise , it is surprise!!!
The amazing, friendly guy on the front desk - with dark hair and beard. He offered us free breakfast when I told him the noisy aircon woke me several times in the night
Very loud, aggressive aircon unit in the wall by the bed that shuddered into life during the night. Breakfast room a bit souless.
room without nice view, al we saw were windows from other hotels. We booked room with 2 double beds for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids of 16 and 17 years old). The beds were too small for 2 people. Not possible to wash hair in shower, water was running very poor. Ok in bath.
Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. Our room was clen nd comfortable. The location. Opulent have been more convenient to all the sights, restaurants and museums. We had a great time.
The only negative thing during our whole weekend was traffic getting from NY to Wash DC. The hotel couldn't help us solve that problem. No one could.
good location, quiet, clean, swimming pool, restaurant, the availability of the personal
the continental breakfast is only available during the week-end!
It has perfect location to see many museums in Washington.
The room was very spacious; We had 4 adults in our room. The breakfast service was excellent! Anything you could want. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our car to be brought around. Very close to the National Mall and several great restaurants.
Location was brilliant. Within easy walking distance of everything.
staying at that hotel was a terrible experience. We had booked two double bed. We informed the staff that we will be at hotel about 9 PM. They said it is not problem our room is ready. when we arrived at 9 M being very tired, the hotel staff told us that there is no room with two double bed. There was only one room left. And ıt had only one bed . we were 3. So I insisted for the room ı have booked. Then finally they said, yes we have such a room. The room was just next to very big aircondition machines. We couldnot sleep whole night. we informed the reception. They said they will stop that machines. But they didnot. Very early in the morning we left the hotel. The staff was not helpful in anyway. dont go that hotel.
Right downtown and close to all the sites. Also really close to Macy's which was a big plus for me. The pub attached is also very convenient.
Parking was not ideal. It's valet parking and you are at the mercy of the hotel to wait for your vehicle. We needed our cars really early one day and tried scheduling a day prior to ensure the car would be available. We were assured there were no issue. On the day of we called 20min prior and no one answered. We got our cars over 30min later than what we requested. The hotel didn't charge us which was nice but we were still late which was not nice. Also the Starbucks onsite is only open for breakfast until 10:30am.
