The house was beautiful and the staff wonderful.
Home is beautiful. Bed very comfortable. Convenient to Decatur, GA. Joe, the male half owner, was nice.
Unable to lock bedroom door. Bathroom down main hallway. No "wine and cheese" reception. No real breakfast to speak of...bought muffins from grocery store, some fruit. no OJ or alternative to coffee, hard boiled eggs eaten in main kitchen. Small kids allowed...awoke to pounding little feet at 7 am from room above ours. Ceiling fan wobbled and made a racket...broke light bulb hanging from socket.
The location was perfect! Very convenient to Atlanta by car or MARTA and very close to Stone Mountain. Felt like we were in the middle of everything!
The location was convenient for our needs and nearby Decatur provided great choices re, dining. The property was well appointed and offered easy off road parking and quiet relaxation inside and out.
Thought the breakfasts could have offered wider choice and no in room tea/coffee making facilities. Double bedroom we stayed in had no en-suite facility- fair trek to bathroom across the hallway!
Joe and Diana were so welcoming. Breakfast was continental as expected, but fresh and delicious. We stayed in the Judge Candlers Bedroom which faced the front yards and the deck. Beautiful lush trees and well kept yard. The bed was big and comfy. Joe is quite the character, we really enjoyed his stories over coffee. Thanks for being apart of our vacation and the cooler!!
Clean and a nice room.
I was badly treated, in an unacceptable and humiliating way. For this reason I cannot recommend this place at all.
Got stuck in Atlanta as a result of the snow storm and found Mileybright Farmhouse to be the solution. Joe and Diana are great people, very helpful and make your stay a very personal one. It is less than a 5 minute walk from Kensington station which makes it a 20 minute trip to downtown Atlanta.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and loved it. It was very comfortable, and the owners were great and on site. The breakfast items placed in our apartment were a good variety and were yummy. My children loved spending some time with the owner's cats, who came in to our apartment through a cat door. We loved seeing photos of when the owners restored the farmhouse. We also appreciated the owners giving us advice about things to do, especially the Ferndale Museum on a rainy day. This place is great for both family stays and romantic getaways.
Wonderful restored beautiful home. Great setting. Convenient location. Large comfortable bed and bedroom. Gracious innkeeper.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.
