Friendly service at breakfast. Comfy rooms - quaint and clean
Artsy. Funky. Whimsical. A responsive staff--Erica kindly gave us a ground-level room at our request (navigating stairs would have been a challenge for us!). Breakfast time with Anne was warm and inviting. Our whole experience gave us first-timers a true feel of New Orleans.
The staff are amazing and welcoming. There are more activities at the inn than are even listed. Miss Ann is an amazing experience unto herself.
That we had such a short stay.
We loved every aspect of our stay! Especially breakfast and DJ Black Queen Anne on Friday night!! Can't wait to stay again! If your looking for a friendly welcoming B&B this is it!! Thank you so much!!
Excellent remodeled, spacious room Delicious breakfast Claw-foot bathtub and shower Lovely location Quaint building Very friendly staff
Wifi was a little tempermental One day there was no coffee at breakfast
The staff is really incredible. We felt like a family of the staff. Breakfast and cooks deserve special mention. We enjoy so much breakfast (food, company of other guests and warmth of cooks) that do not vacilate to rate it as the hotel bright star.Managers were very helpful with tips about sightseeings
Fan and AC were noisy. We had to turn fan off to sleep.Fortunetely whether allowed to dispend with the fan
I thought I was staying at a relatives home. The staff are warm and the decor is eclectic and charming.
Room spacious, Friday night DJ, in the barn spinning 45s..lovely courtyard and wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast, will come back.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had excellent breakfasts. Very close to restaurants and trolley.
Our air conditioner blew out some black stuff.
Friendly staff. Beautiful inn.Breakfast was delicious every day.
Liked the people and the service. They were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were home cooked and tasty. The location was convenient to the highways as well as the trolley line to the French Quarter.
There is a great deal of variability in the rooms ranging from the plantation house through to the former slave quarters. You need to indicate your preferences.
clean, great staff, good breakfast
parking was down the block but can't be helped in no. a bit pricey but then I'mcheap
We loved the personalised approach that you generally don't experience with the larger hotel chains. Miss Annie's breakfasts were the best. We loved our stay and would be happy to recommend to family and friends that intend to visit.
A water tower and perhaps a coffee percolator in the room would have been handy. The tap water was not pleasant.
Location is very good only two minutes walk from The Charles Street Trams . Great breakfast .
Fabulous hot breakfast daily. Friendly, extremely helpful staff. Great location in the Garden District, easy access to St. Charles streetcar line to the French Quarter.
Room could have used a few more amenities (soap dish, additional hangers).
The decor is lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
very quite food parking facility free close to good restaurants close to trolley The employees were very helpful
Funky decorating Friendly staff great location
Great NOLA location, close to restaurants and many other attractions including the WW2 Museum. Our room was in what once was a bordello. Free off street parking.
No complaints from us!
Bkft.was made to order.
Follow up with staff was so so. Left msg.no one returned phone call . Had to call back with inquiry. Erica was more helpful.
Great breakfast - hot, cooked fresh daily. Only 1 block to St Charles street car
This is in an old area and is being renovated. Some of the rooms are probably very nice, but outs was a bit tacky. Bathroom had mostly new fixtures, but the shower was an old warn clawfoot tub with 2 plastic curtains around it & a shower head so you have to climb into this warn tub to shower. Could be difficult for some people to even get in & out of.
It was only one block off St. Charles street. So street car acesss to everything we did was a breeze. Easy free parking. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Staff and rooms were great. Would love to stat again. But would also just pop in to say "hi!" To Miss Anne.
I cannot think of anything.
Convenient to Convention Center (biz conf location), and everything we wanted to see/do. Location between St Charles streetcar and Magazine St bus very comfortable. Quiet courtyard, comfortable and inviting. Friendly, helpful staff. Ample breakfast,
Climb up stairs to our "cottage" (actually a small room).
The relaxed, easy come, easy go, atmosphere. Breakfast was brilliant, cooked by locals in New Orleans style. And the location was spot on, just minutes to the streetcar stop.
A bar would have been brilliant, just to have a quiet drink before dinner. But that is all.......really.
Staying in the Garden District The Garden was pretty The Cook and waitress were excellent Breakfast was delicious
Stairway to room The garden furniture was dirty Not enough nice restaurants within walking distance The bed was too firm for me but other guests may like firm beds
