Fabulous location. A short street car ride away from Bourbon street and all the activity. In the other direction, a short ride away from the beautiful houses of the Garden District.

The room had dust bunnies. Not thorougly cleaned. Only towels changed and not the bed sheets.

I liked the location since it's close to St. Charles Street Car, great restaurants, super comfy bed, history of Guesthouse is excellent, Miss Annie and Barbara treat you like family, Keith is helpful with ideas of fun things to do that are off the beaten path, breakfast can not be beat from Miss Annie and Barbara. You feel like family. Wonderful staff!

A few items needed maintaining like floor boards which could have been a tripping hazard in our room.

Creole has a relaxed vibe. A 2 minute walk to trams and only a short ride that will take you to both the Garden district and Jackson Square ends They had the best breakfast in New Orleans

The exterior was a little run down and our front door lock would jam when we tried to enter but it definitely added to the character and personality of the place

Our room was comfortable and pleasant, with an excellent bed and good air conditioning. The courtyard gives a charming atmosphere. The breakfasts were very good and served with individual attention. If you like the bigger, fancier hotels, this place isn't for you... but if you like smaller, more charming bed and breakfasts, I highly recommend Creole Gardens.

The staff is superb. They make you feel like at home. Annie and Joe are great, the atmosphere is so familiar and nice. The structure is very original, it makes you feel like you are back in the past. Loved it!

The only thing was the noise of the air conditioning in the room.

Closeness to trolley, friendly staff, breakfast, guide books available for research.

Steps up to second floor. Noisy aircon.

The location was good, close walk to get a Trolley Car! The Claw foot bath tub was geat! Good size room!

There was construction going on in the adjoining buildings! The room was in need of a paint job, the curtains were not installed correctly! Did not close off all of the window. The lights outside our room in the court yard were a distraction. The room was very bright after dark!

Location was great, great area and easy walk to trolley to get to French quarter. Quirky building. Live music on Friday night

Curtains were extremely thin May as we'll not been there and air con unit very loud so for sensitives sleepers like us it meant little to no sleep. Breakfast finished a bit early and they had run out of hot water so gave us a mug to put in microwave, didn't make the best cup of tea

The Staff was wonderful! The Breakfast was Delicious!!! The Room was clean and comfortable.I loved the claw foot tub in the bathroom and how comfortable the bed was. The Creole Gardens has old charm and modern conveniences. Its location is good with access to everything. Very close to the Garden District shoppping on Magazine street. We will be back here for sure!

The only thing that I didn't love was the location on Prytania is not the prettiest. But all in all it was a great stay and would highly recommend.

The location is fantastic! Just one block from a host of restaurants and the streetcar. Only a mile from Bourbon street and the convention center. Everytyin walking distance. No need for a car! Also the homemade daily breakfast by Ms Annie were phenomenal. Just an overall family environment.

I wish the breakfast portions were a little bigger ;) also the cable seemed to vary from room to room. So my room only had a few channels and the other room had the full gamut

This was one of several trips to New Orleans and we loved this bed and breakfast. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was excellent (Thanks Ms. Annie). It has an old charm which was fun and full of history. If you're looking for a hotel type environment this is not it, but if you want a place that is clean, friendly, and comfortable this is it.

The only thing i could have changed was the water pressure, but it wasn't a big concern. It was very minimal in the grand scheme of everything else.
