Crescent Hotel    

Location is great, in the heart of Beverly Hills and close to main attractions of LA and surroundings

The Staff (except one) were super, very friendly and helpful.

The Valet staff member was a very unfriendly, unhelpful and moody person. When we arrived, it was after 24 hours of travelling and I didn't have any change for a tip to assist with my bags. Thereafter, he did everything to be unhelpful, to the point where, when we parked on a meter outside the hotel, and ran over by 10 minutes, the traffic officer came and gave us a ticket. The Valet could have come in and advised, saving us $75.00. Instead he smirked at me when I came to drive off. This was an intentional 'payback' which was unnecessary and simply vindictive. This really spoilt my stay. The hotel was under maintenance which made it look pretty grotty for the business meetings I had there. I would have liked to have known that there was building going on and thus meant it was dusty and dirty a lot. The rooms were incredibly small and tight. The writing table was tiny and barely enough for doing any work on.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved the new decor and changes happening at the moment. Well done!! I can't wait to see it all finished next time.

I would have liked a small fridge and tea/coffee making facility in the room.

Rooms are too small as well as the beds in them. Wi fi connection signal is poor.

The toilet kept flushing so we had to change rooms. The room we moved to had a very noisy bed a no decor. No tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Not enough mirrors in bedrooms.

Location and design

Terrific location - close to markets, post office, bus stops, shopping. Away from the constant sirens and craziness of areas like Hollywood.

Noisy on the bottom floor - can hear EVERYTHING from the room above you; better on the second floor. Don't want to open the curtains if you get a room facing neighbouring building - better if the room faces the street.

Very good location - clean comfortable rooms, helpful staff. Would stay again.

No elevator - but valet staff happy to help.

Room was quite small and air conditioning unit was very loud at night ( vent kept rattling)

We only had two nights in the crescent but if we are lucky enough to go back we would stay longer, it's a lovely little hotel with comfy beds, nice hot shower and very friendly helpful staff. There is an amazing Italian restaurant on the corner where we were lucky enough to get a table and only two blocks from rodeo drive, excellent location and felt very safe.

Very small and not that important but there was no tea/coffee facilities in room or a fridge but that wouldn't stop me going back in a minute.

It was little cold in the room and changing air conditioning setup to warm made no change. Small bathroom.

The location

The rooms were very small and the bathroom even smaller. The hotel was very noisy. You could here every footstep from the room above and ours was like aherd of elephants. You also heard every flush of the toilets as if they were in your room. Hard to get a good nights sleep.

The location, staff and service were all excellent.

Difficult to adjust temperature in room, felt like cold air was blowing.

Many many things. Noisy all the time due to : wood ground , bad window isolation, air pressure through corridor , Very tiny room with bad design, old furniture I booked 5 nights but after one night i checked out

the staff was amizn the manger susan the owner she welcom us like geuss to her house i realy liked he she was so nice never see like that .. the room was renewd and littel small but was okay for us the bath room was nearly small but have good decoration and the shower kit was all from philosophy known brand .. near to every thing th redo and the shops ... the picuers is old they did new decoration for the whole hotel lits look realy nice ..it fell like home for me very warm .. thank u susan , bo , james .

Staff was very friendly.

The room was extremely small, like a small bedroom. The bathroom was cramped as well and the shower leaked all over the floor. The floors were concrete and there weren't even baseboards on the walls. On a good note, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I think you are paying for the convenience of the location. Be aware, there are numerous taxes added on to the room in addition to a hefty parking fee!

Good location and price

The room had no desk and was on the small side. There was some question about billing for parking. Evidently it was added automatically to the bill, though I didn't use it. This was resolved in a friendly manner.
