It was dirty and uncomfortable. We wouldn't even shower there!
we arrived to check in, only to be advised that there was a water problem and we were being directed to a near by hotel. it was like pulling up to a motel in a criminal minds t.v episode, no business like office, owners stayed out back in one of the suites and was very unprofessional. highly disappointed and extremely uncomfortably feeling, definitely would never do business again or recommend to anyone. I wouldn't have felt comfortable / safe staying there even if the suites didn't have "water problems"!
Our room had been sold to someone else although we had phoned the hotel that we would be late. So we were without a room at 10 pm. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
No service at all.Sero,Nada. Hi needde tolet paper they did not have!!!
No one was available when we arrived for about 15 minutes. The bed was terrible. The decor was unbelievable. You could see light coming through both the top and bottom of door. The shower was terrible. The place is right on the main road and it sounded like car and trucks were coming right throughthe room.
Staff was and did change us to a different room.
The rooms too close to the road heard traffic all night. Rooms not very clean and MANY things wrong. Toilet didn't work right, no clock in room(most rooms at least have them). no batteries in tv remote had to ask for some, no trash can in room had to ask for one, not very clean, no Wi-Fi. Price per night high for what you get. Sorry but will not stay here again.
They installed recessed lighting which was nice. Allowed dogs. Nice joke by reviewers who rated the place above anything over fair.
1-No smoke detector 2-no gfi protection on outlets within inches of sink faucet, or anywhere 3-no trash can anywhere 4-broken towel racks 5-one crumbly, broken fresh soap 6-an old, large used soap in the shower complete with someone else's hair 7-no batteries in tv remote 8-no clock or clock radio 9-no local information or phone 10-nasty smell 11- way, way overpriced!! 12-Is a dump! 13-Booked a king single, got twin double beds 14-no bill of pricing policy within room as required by ny State 15-toilet at angle and seat wouldn't stay up when trying to go to the bathroom 16-large gap over door allowing bugs in 17-paint overspray from "renovation" and unfinished detail everywhere
The facility is closed and under restoration. No clients, rundown, uninhabitable rooms, stinks, molds, no staff, furniture stacked, no linens. antiquated furniture, no color TV, no WiFi, steps broken, Office closed, no phone service. Yuk! Yuk! Yuk!
room wasn't ready when we got there. rooms smelled like smoke. no hot shower, ants, terrible customer service. this place should be closed down, there's no way they are up to code, somebody please inspect this place!! way over priced. don't stay here!!! by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, ever.
very musty and mold smelling , door didn't fit to bottom so any bug , rodent could come in , no clean washcloths microwave dirty , outlet fixture laying on floor , would not recommend it to anyone
Too costly for the accommodations provided. Sink barely worked, toilet mismatch, dirty
My room was spacious. The bathroom and floors were very clean (see what I didn't like for what was not especially clean...). The atmosphere was very quiet. The hotel is close to Saratoga Springs and the Saratoga Racetrack. The bed was comfortable. TV was fine. Maid service efficient. Staff friendly and helpful.
The air conditioner in my room was extremely noisy. There were bugs in the kitchenette area so I was leery of using that area at all. There was no toilet paper provided so I had to go out and buy my own to use during a four-night stay. When I asked for ice upon my arrival I was told it wouldn't be ready for two hours (!) so I went out and bought my own, along with a cooler to put it in. There were two refrigerators and a microwave in my room and none of them worked. The shower was OK but very old and the shower curtain did not keep the water from getting all over the bathroom floor, so the floor had to be totally wiped clean after each shower.
Close to Saratoga Springs
It was a nice size room and clean
I booked a cottage and when I got there they did not have cottages which is what I wanted, instead I was offered ,given a suite which was less expensive and not what I had booked. but the price in general was ok.
Nothing. By far one of the worst places I have ever stayed. You should remove this place from your booking register. If I thought I could have found another place to stay, I would have walked out.
No toilet paper. Not even a toilet paper holder. No curtains on the windows. Very little hot water. No waste baskets. Management is rude . No soap or shampoo.
If you don't wish to spend $250 to spend a night in Saratoga Springs during race season, the Crest is well located just north on #9. Just don't go to Gansevoort looking for it. The bed was very good.
It just needs work. The toilet needed adjusting to stop it running. The sink fixtures were loose. The chairs are dilapidated. For a single person on a budget it's fine, but for others?
The price was great for Saratoga Springs in the summer, but you get what you pay for!
There were several issue with the room, including a back door that would not shut, a bad smell and a heater that when used, made the smoke detector go off. But my bigggest issue is the fact that the "king suite" that I reserved for my son and three friends only had a king bed, no sofa bed as advertised. When they complained and asked for a different room they were told there were none available. They then asked for cots and were told there were none.
