Crest Hotel Suites    

Me gusto la locacion, la calma, el buen trato, la decoracion del lobby...

We booked five nights. On the second day we found we had to return home one day early - changed our tickets and advised the hotel (72 hours in advance) but we were still charged a $50 fee for changing dates. The hotel was busy - we felt we gave adequate notice for no penalty for the last night and no doubt the room was rented. We will be making frequent visits to Miami but we won't return to this hotel for that reason.

we were expecting a art deco visual experience. it was much more than disappointing, it was non existent!!! I strongly recommend if you are looking for a small art deco hotel you cross The Crest off your list.

Large appartmentstyle room, good location, no street-noise, possibility to swim at the pool with great location overlooking the street, breakfastbar.

Parking was a bit problematic in the weekend, no own parkingspace. Private parking accross the street was really expensive so public parking is preffered. In this style of room, a seperate bedroom would be nice. Now a closet was used as a room devider.

The hotel is excellently located, near restaurants, shopping, car rental and cultural activities. And, it's only one block from the beach. It's clean & comfortable. The kitchenette facilities are great, although we did not use them on this trip.

Our bathroom door did not close fully. Yet, a painter had just done some touch ups to the walls when we first arrived, so the hotel does seem to be making an effort to keep up with repairs.

The location is great. Right by Lincoln Rd Mall and yet close to the beach.

Staff was friendly but a little slow. The safe in the room was locked and it took a half hour for someone to come up and unlock it. Meanwhile, there was 15 people waiting in the lobby for us.

Excellent budget hotel. Very near to shops, south beach, clean white bedding, lift, and very helpful staff.

Carpets in bedroom could do with replacing and electric sockets lose to the extend phone did not charge.

Location was excellent - right near to shops, dining and of course South Beach. Beds were very comfortable but rooms a little tired in decor and fixtures. Staff always ready to assist, very friendly.

Disappointed with pool area- was very tiny, and no sun after lunchtime - not worth having really. Be better filling it in and extending outside seating area. Also no fridge or coffee maker in room - ice bucket available but not very efficient in Miami heat.

I chose The Crest Hotel Suites based on its proximity to the Convention Center and its cost. The staff (Jonathan) was helpful at check-in, and the manager helped track a box we had shipped. Carmen in the breakfast room was very nice and helpful. One of the night staff was super nice.

The morning after check-in we found a bed bug in our bed. They denied any problem but did move us to another room. We had to launder all of our clothes and put them in plastic bags. They only reimbursed for one outfit of laundry. They rented the infested room to another guest without any treatment for bedbugs, denying the problem. There was a bad odor coming from the stove in our second room which we discovered was malfunctioning. They turned off the gas but did not repair the stove. Several days later we asked for the stove to be repaired so we might be able to use it in our last few days. They checked it, while we were out of the room and turned the gas back on. The odor of smoke and gas returned and I turned off the gas. The front desk clerk came up with a maintenance person who denied any problem and then left in a huff.

Apparently newly renovated. Clean and comfortable. Right next to the Lincoln road where you can get everything.

Somewhat very basic. If you only want to have a good place to sleep, its fine.

It was clean, friendly and extremely convenient for Lincoln Mall Blvd, Collins Ave and not far to walk to Ocean Drive. Had a little cafe attached where you could get coffee, breakfast or snacks until 3 pm.

Closet space was good but hanging space too short for dresses. Only stayed 3 nights but if longer this would have been a problem for me.

relaxed, comfortable bed and nice shower. feels good having a hot water in the room and warm inside, too cold to be outside late at night.

Great location, friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. The suites are especially spacious.

Very thin walls in the hotel building, easy to hear the converstions of other guests. Be careful, rooms with a palm tree near the window could be noisy when windy!

Carman your housekeeper and waitress was the most helpful person I have met in the hotels i have stay in. I do alot of traveling and she was the best i have ever seen . She went out of her way to make your stay comfort and I would come back again

Toilet is to low & location or toiletpaper is in bad location. Didn't care for the way manager handle problems.

Staff were great. Great location and reasonable price.

Carpets need cleaning or replacement. It sounded like a stampeed of elephants in the room above. I was told I would be moved up to a quieter room, packed my luggage, then was told there were no rooms available. Why did they tell me I could move then after I packed told me I couldn't move. Don't know if I will go back to the crest.

The room was clean, and the location was amazing because you could walk to the beach, restaurants, entertainment and stores. The front desk staff was helpful and made an effort to give me a less noisy room the second night.

It was impossible to sleep without the aid of sleep meds because there are traffic noises, partiers and the walls are not soundproof, so you can hear all conversations in the next rooms. Also, the room had venetian blinds and not room darkening shades or curtains and so the room was bright all night.

everything you need, nice room, in sum a very nice hotel with a superb location, also close to the direct No 150 bus to the airport

The shower design flooded bathroom....very poor design.

Great value, friendly, helpful staff, walk to Miami Beach

parking across street $40 a day... went to Collins and 16th St and paid $16
