Cresthill Suites Albany  

I like the privacy. It is nice to feel as if you have your own space - no pressure. I cooked some meals in the full kitchen, washed clothes -- a home away from home.

I expected better customer service. I have stayed at Cresthill Suites many times. I needed one extra night this last visit, and they were not wiling to give me the rate I had paid for 5 previous nights.

Dog friendly. Breakfast and Happy Hour. Suites. Bedding and towels. Staff.

This hotel is well run, clean & is of great value. The suite was very roomy & the kitchen was spotless. You might not need it because the hotel offers free cookies at the reception, free coffee, free breakfast & (surprisingly) free evening light meal with free beer & free wine.Everything is wonderful.

Very well run establishment. Friendly and professional management. Room very clean, and big (includes kitchenette). Free parking (plenry of spaces) and free internet (very fast). Free small business centre (with free printing). All round a very satisfactory hotel.

Only downside is the usual American motel-hotel type breakfast is served (self service) - little fresh fruit choice and lots of heart-attack inducing waffles and muffins...

It was perfect.

Realy good value- Roomy, comfortable, excellent facilities, well soundproofed -could not hear traffic on nearby Thruway. Would stay there again when travelling that way. Evening food reception looked good though we arrived late for it--breakfast was hot and nourishing and helped us get on our way--Excellent access to ny Thruway for us on our way to Canada but hard to get to if coming from the east coast--our gps got us there with no hitches..

The rooms were incredible. When I booked I booked a 2 queen suite. When I came in it was 2 queens and a king suite. I had to check the rate to make sure and they said sometimes they have to upgrade. For my family of 5, it was incredible. It was also pet friendly which was important to us....and the stay was great! The kids can't stop talking about the room...

The only thing i would say is I was looking for a late check out, maybe an hour or two (my kids and husband were going to Giants camp and it was hot). I was looking to just stay for a bit with the dog. They said no because of a wedding coming in. Understandable...but if I could have had one hour that would have been awesome!!

The gentleman who checked us in, Dominick, was outstanding. Friendly, informative, helpful and personable. You have a jewel there, please extend him our best review! He spent time with us explaining everything we had questions on. He made the system of checking in effortless. I can not say enough about his professionalism and people pleasing attitude.

I wish there was a room available with two beds. It was graduation weekend at Albany so those rooms were at a premium...

It's right across the street from the University at Albany. It is relatively easy to get to from the airport. It's next to a gas station with a subway which makes it convenient for a quick lunch or to gas up before returning your rental car. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was nice and the coffee was left out for the guest even after the buffet closed.

I was a little disappointed in the Light Fare Reception with Wine & Beer (Monday-Thursday). The food was OK but the beer consisted of 4 cans laying on top of a pan with ice. They simply were not cold. I was only able to attend on one evening, so that is all I can base this comment on.

The location was convenient; the room was pleasant.

The toilet was running; I thought the bedroom had a door separating it from the sitting room as shown in the picture gallery online.

Very pleased. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I booked wrong date but staff found a room for us. It was a smoking room but it was clean and the smoke smell was insignificant.

Cuando llegamos la recepcionista no encontraba nuestra reserva, no habíamos podido imprimir el bono y le enseñé la reserva a traves del tablet, decía que no la podía leer y la verdad es que fue un poco desagradable. Cuando se solucionó el problema nos pidió perdon dos veces.
