Score from 970 reviews Very good
My husband thought the service in the restaurant was not gracious.
Pretty much everything
I loved this hotel so much. Nestled in the perfect location and the features of the hotel interiors were immaculate. I would've liked to see each room.
Thought the staff could have been more attentive. Esp when it came to remembering our names
love the room, location, special touches, honor bar downstairs, etc and some of the staff.
staff is not as good as it good be. some are great (the guy who works in the honor bar in the morning from el salvador I believe). others are snobby and not as competent, like a couple of the concierges. couldn't figure out how to print a presentation of mine and seemed annoyed at my asking. for the money I expect better service and attitude.
Everything was great ... This is by far the perfect cozy boutique hotel we have stayed ....
Restaurant and bar ,decor, confort, service ,Location
Eclectic decor, the colours, the art and their frames, the bed, oh the bed, the black warehouse windows, the power shower, toiletries, peacefulness, views over the roof tops, fast internet, breakfast, wonderfully polite helpful staff
Had to ask for extra toiletries, slow service in guests sitting room. The Espresso coffee machine was missing?
Everything. I simply adore Firmdale Hotels in London and this one in NYC. Beds are heavenly! And bathrooms are always big, comfortable and beautiful.
You cannot get a location better in Soho. The rooms are not super large, but are well appointed. The concierges are friendly as are the rest of the staff.
This hotel is infinitely more expensive than many others in its class, with fewer bells and whistles.
Great staff, lovely and comfortable rooms to hang out in. Fabulous decor! Eye catching art everywhere.
We stayed for four nights on the 8th floor. I consider it one of the best hotels in New York. Modern design, art and a truely luxurious Interior. A grat experience with nothing to complain about. Only thing missing was a coffee maker in the room. It was just not available.
No coffee maker. I would have expected that service in a deluxe top floor room. That should be standard.
Gorgeous room. Light, bright with floor to ceiling windows. Very nice staff.
Low quality (rough) toilet paper--odd in a hotel of this standard
Clean and convenient.
We stayed for four days and didn't feel a particularly warm welcome by staff, who seemed formal and correct rather than friendly. Able to hear next door bathroom
The room was lovely and clean and the reception desk was pleasant. The gym was very adequate and the the housekeeping staff was extraordinary. You simply cannot find a better location.
The gentlemen at the concierge desk were completely off putting. The blank stares and the complete lack of attentiveness and communication was strange and unacceptable. I'm not sure if I will return to this location.
Location and Interiors
My lunch was just ok not hot and service was slow
Food was amazing!
Amenities like shampoo and bath gel quality not too good..
Location, design and ambience.
You never want to leave!
Teh hotel design is fabulous, great romos, nicely appointed, great views from huge Windows, great bar, excellent staff, best barman in Sogo (Miguel), location, location, location
Great location, great courtyard dining, great food, and quiet.
We were going to book an eighteen day stay, but after realizing you cannot rent new movies, we had to cancel. The four other hotels in this price range all had new VOD systems.
The comfort; elegance; facilities and super fast free wifi
Loved the location and felt safe traveling alone
Poor service at breakfast
The hotel was beautiful the rooms were very spacious just our style we have stayed at a lot of upscale trendy NYC hotels and this should have been on the top of our list but its not.
The staff was not helpful ,some needed an attitude adjustment,it started at check in, everytime we asked a question we got answers but not to the questions we asked I really wanted to complain to the manager but didn't want to spoil the stay more. There were a few exceptions that were great. We are native NYers not out of towners so its not like we are not with the program
Location staff attention Manager and Assistant Manager absolutely in a class of their own
