Crowne Plaza Hotel Downtown    

Very modern design, friendly staff, comfortable beds, very good quality/price ratio

no place for hanging towels, not so quiet rooms because of the Windows (you can feel the noise coming from the streets, but it is not so loud).

Comfortable room

The room smelled terrible, thank god I found some air freshener at the supermarket and the bath water didn't work for an entire day.

Hotel ist direkt am Highway und trotz geschlossener Fenster hört man den Lärm sehr. Frühstücksbuffet ist schmalspurig. Orangensaft muss z.B. separat bezahlt werden. Self parking kostet extra.

Location was easy to access. Dining at Bliss was enjoyable. King room Shower was very nice.

No jetted jacuzzi tub in King Room. Liquor prices in Lounge very pricey. Unable to reach Front Desk/Guest Services with one call. Was put on hold and forgotten about. Had to be tranferred multiple times to get housekeeping to bring Ironing board and Iron.

Nice old hotel, rooms and whirlpool were nice. didnt give me the breaky voucher had to wait in line for it in morning.

Price-way to expensive!!!!

If you are here to visit Disney World, the lynx Central Station is just a 7 minute walk away. There you can take a 50 Bus to Disney World (it takes 1 hr) and costs $2 per person (one way and you can pay at the driver). The room was big. Free wi-fi. Microwave present in the room.

There is nothing to do around, not even a place to eat. So you would need a car. The bed sheets were never changed. Cleaners forgot to provide bath towels for 1 night. Windows cannot be opened for safety reasons. Any train passing by will be heard loudly, so I would recommend light sleepers to get some ear plugs. No hairdryer! But you do get an iron :)

When we got there there were no body towels The breakfast buffet did not include fruit, milk, cereals or yogurt, you had to pay extra for this! The breakfast staff was very poorly trained

The staff at the front desk was great! Location and facilities were good too.

The shuttle service was terrible! We were there for a Magic game...which I am sure causes more to use the shuttle. Not only was the shuttle late, but could not accomodate the number of folks needing to use it. In addition the valet staff was not interested in apologizing or assisting in alternate options. At one point the driver said he was going to get a bigger vehicle, but after 10 minutes returned in the same van. We took a cab back for $20.00 - wish we had done that to start! I would not use the shuttle in the future.

the noise level the lack of professionalism the lack of attention to details the lack of respect for "do not disturb" the poor a/c unit - that hardly worked properly even after complaining. the lack of caring from any staff member besides the parking attendants.

Check-in Staff was excellent, very pleasant and efficient. Room was clean and quiet through the night.

Security guard in Bar/lounge was rude at the end of the evening. She flipped on the lights and instructed everyone to get out ..could have nicely informed everyone that the lounge was closing shortly instead of abruptly telling us to get out !

The room was fabulous and any staff we came across in the hallways were very friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and the gym and also loved the fact that not only was there wifi in the rooms, but there was computer access also.

When we arived on Sunday24th we were not given our breakfast vouchers and had to ask for them. Later we went into the 'Bistro' for something to eat. The service was fine, but we waited for over half an hour for our food. It wasn't busy in there and we had no reason given as to why? Next morning we went for breakfast, the hostess seated us and then we were left at the mercy of the server. He was a very nice young man but was rushed off of his feet. I would suggest the hostess be able to help him in this situation. When a customer said that there were no plates - she told him to go and get them!!! Obviously I could understand if he wasn't doing anything - she was unable even to put someones credit card through - so the customers on the table next to us had to wait until the young man was free to do it. The breakfast was ok, but could have been hotter. We would stay at this hotel again, but would think twice before eating there.

The parking is a very espense for me maybe for another people not, but is ridicules charge $18.00 for night really espense.. Thank You..

We were originally supposed to stay at another Hotel. The other Hotel over booked for the two concerts that were a night apart. Thanks to booking.com and crowne plaza to reacting to a unpleasant experience and turning it into a pleasant one. This was a xmas present for my fiancee. The staff at Crowne Plaza are great but I do have to point out two staff members that wen't above and beyond Megan at the front desk and Kathy in parking. You have a wonderful staff and hotel. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Shuttle service to the Amway Center.

Electrical plug in room didn't work. Balcony doors didn't open. Over-priced Bar drinks.

Hotel building is nice. 5 min walking to LYNX central bus station who can take you anywhere in Orlando.

Too near to I-4 highway and railway, this means noise all day, like train honking at 2am. Room balconies are all locked. Found a used towel from a previous guest in the bathroom.

I thought the staff were really excellent and the service was first rate. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was also excellent.

The room I stayed in had double doors instead of windows and these did not have sufficient sound proofing against the road noise of vehicles outside. This is definitely something the hotel owners should put right since the hotel was great apart from this problem. I thought more should have been made about the room service food on offer. There was just a cheap looking printout at the back of the guide. This did not reflect how great the food was.

The location of the hotel close to downtown Orlando and access to I-4 is ideal for business travellers. We found the staff to be friendly and professional and the bar food was good and more than enough at the end of a long business day.

There is significant traffic noise in the bedrooms from the adjacent freeway - so ear plugs are useful if you are a light sleeper.
