This was our first time in Chicago, the Staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was perfectly clean. It is very close to Downtown. For this price a perfect Hotel for Chicago!
A lot of noise because of the interstate.
The location was perfect and the room was spacious. Having a gym in the facility allowed me to continue my exercise routine while enjoying my stay at the hotel. Great staff. Would stay there again.
I had a few phone calls but had problem with answering the phone. After picking up the receiver, I would only here a dial tone. Had to answer the phone in the bathroom for it to work.
Bellman John and George were great! Valet Jorge did a great job! Sharon at the front desk was very polite and helpful! Thank you all for a Fabulous stay!!! We will return in the future. Highly recommended!!!
Location and clean hotel with friendly staff. I stay here everytime I am in Chicago.
Could not get the printers to work in the Business office. Had some trouble with the air conditioning thermostat.
Convenient to where we needed to go.
$40.00 just to park at hotel???? Smelled musty like had water damage and wasn't cleaned properly. Restaraunt food was fair at best and overpriced.
Good comfortable room, Balcony nice to get fresh air. Shops and facilities nearby. Good wifi, Staff attentive and helpful.
slightly remote from tourist attractions
Service attitude of all of the staff was excellent.
Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. I was there for a whole week for a business trip and chose it because of its proximity to the Ogilvie Metra station and Union Station, which I had to use each day and it is ideally located for those, just a few mins walk. It is a little further from the main downtown loop but still only 20 mins walk. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed being there. Thumbs up!
2 minor things. 1, it doesn't have a pool, and 2, the breakfast buffet was quite limited with basically just a few scrambled eggs, toast, coffee etc. Although breakfast was included in my deal I got bored with it after 3 days and went to nearby cafés instead.
Right over a city highway. Carpet was humid. Restaurant unpleasant.
I love the location and the staff were very friendly. Nice clean hotel friendly staff and great location.
Price of parking is a little steep.
The Customer Service and Staff was one of the best that I have encountered. I am a sem-retired Travel Agent/Consultant and I would recommend this property to anyone with confidence. It made my trip to Chicago much more relaxing than I had anticipated ! Not one person was unpleassant ...and that is beyond rare.
The Lobby - This is superficial but the Lobby needs some furniture, flowers...to match this wonderful property ! It would vastly help with first/check-in impressions.
Had a slight mix-up with a food order on my first night, and the staff went WAY out of their way making it right. Very good service.
Not much that I did not like. Very nice stay.
I would like arabin brekfest fool& falafel whit cheese
price raised for local event. Unfair to travelers who just wanted a place to stay while checking out the city.
Comfortable bed. Clean room
Not much character. Elevator took too long
Location. The staff was very accommodating with any request I had. Need a refrigerator and microwave? Just call them. Silverware for Chinese delivery at 4am? They'll send someone right up. Valet parking is 39 USD per night, as people have said before, but this is actually a pretty good price in Chicago. If you want to park for cheaper, but don't want to be able to use your car, you can find a cheaper lot within a block of the hotel.
Bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't attach to the wall very well. This means it is basically impossible to lock.
The cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was very comfortable for its size.
The night staff was very rude and we felt a little pre judged because we were a younger group of people the staff member that checked us in tended to talk to us very rudely and as if we were incapable of understanding him. The parking rate is outrageous to pay every night you stay. My special requests for additional items to be put in our room was not met.
Location is ideal. Breakfast is really satisfying.
Parking is expensive within the hotel. Why we had to swipe card in using elevator?
Everyone was kind and courteous.
Location of the hotel was close to some good restaurants and the Willis tower. Room was nice. I like the included breakfast. Like that a newspaper was delivered to the front door every morning. Concierge on check in was friendly. Liked that Walgreens and Starbucks was nearby. Friendly staff. Room was nice.
Felt stuffy in the hallways. I can hear the traffic outside. Valet is pricey maybe it would have been nice to have a cheaper option to park the car yourself. No exhaust in the bathroom. My room didn't have a mini fridge.
Place is Clean
Everything else was below average.
Staff helpful; location convenient to public transportation
No hair dryer in room
