In Atlanta, Georgia, this hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Turner Field, home to the Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.
Score from 348 reviews Good
Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and services, and only 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many downtown...
Score from 740 reviews Very good
Known as “the grand dame” of Atlanta’s Peachtree Street, this classically elegant hotel is across from the Fox Theatre. It features a rooftop pool, on-site dining, and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 263 reviews Excellent
Located off of Highway 403 and Interstate 75, this Atlanta motel features free property-wide Wi-Fi and on-site parking. The Atlanta Civic Center is a 5-minute walk away.

I liked that the hotel was not too far from my daughter's college.
There seemed to be alot of noise in the evening from sirens and motorcycles racing up and down the street.
Close enought to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go in Midtown this trip. Hotel has self parking which was a plus for us. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, beds weren't too bad. This place is a great value. Also the crew running the breakfast area/Resturaunt were outstanding.
Just wish we had balcony access (door was drilled shut so it couldn't be opened), but other than that we didn't have any problems.
Staff is friendly.
Self parking for guests is inconvenient and expensive. $15 a day down the street with no in and out access...all bad. Linens and towels were stained. Wi-Fi was either not working or slow to connect. Room and hallways smell like mildew.
I enjoyed the convenience of the location. The balcony view was awesome. The bathroom was very clean. The room was cool. The breakfast was aaaaammmazing! The doorman are well knowledgable of the area. Charmaine Halley is the best employee of the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown! There were two other young ladies but I dont remember there name. They worked on the morning shift of October 4th, 2014. All in all, my stay was great. Ohhhh the in room dining is so awesome. But this hotel is best for their location and service. Its 1 minute away from the train station. And just under 20minutes from most of Atlanta's attractions!
The hotel would truly be a four-star hotel if it was updated. Feels like he hasn't been modernized for a little while. The bed was truly comfortable I have no complaints about that the room was big but the furniture was awkwardly arranged and some of the fixtures were old and fragile. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel feels a little outdated, it doesn't really feel like a four-star hotel.
furnishing, staff, decor, etc.
The lobby was nice. The valet staff was nice The front desk manager was helpful and nice.
In the room the wallpaper was peeling. The bed's duvet did not have a cover and look dirty, old and worn out. For a duvet cover they put a flat bed sheet over and under it and tucked in the ends! House keeping yelled at my husband in some other language.
Cheapest possible room fittings, no noise insulation,
The rooms were clean. The staff was nice and friendly. The shower was wonderful.
Hotel charging full price while under renovation. Old Hotel still showing through. Dimly lit smoking section, chemical leaking and faulty banister in the area. Security lacking - has questionable areas (like the top floor) where anyone can wander into. Has ethernet wiring but no ethernet (come on Atlanta - wired is always better, more reliable and faster than wireless - whats up with all these wireless only hotel options?); breakfast and the bar are prohibitively expensive ($16.00 for a breakfast - crazy!). Parking solution was parasitic at best - we know that reasonable parking is insane in Atlanta, so they decide to valet the Hotel parking lot at $30.00 a pop with no in and out (pay again). The area was very unsavory, which made it dangerous to park away from the hotel, which made people feel necessary to pay exorbitant prices to valet at the hotel... Decor was in transition and garish. Otherwise the place was clean but the price was too high. They should wait until they are fully open and THEN raise the prices - as it is now they should only charge half of what they are charging.
Good price for location.
Did not get room layout requested.
This hotel was definately a complete disappointment. The house keeping staff was super friendly but the desk clerks could certainly use some work. Got the room for a Music Festival in town so luckily we did not have to spend a ton of time in the room. What we got for 199$ a night was so below par and the management should be embarrased. Where is this money going? It certainly is not contributing to the upkeep of this hotel. - We checked in and got up to room, discovered white pills in the floor near the bed skirt. Closer examination revealed they were melatonin pills(sleep aids). So are the rooms not being vacuumed? Thank goodness we are at least intelligent adults and do not consume random pills, but what if a family had checked in and a child had found them? So naturally we checked the skirt area of the other bed and sure enough have eaten candy stuck in the carpet, gross. Also we had no trashcan any where in the room and took well over an hour for them to get one to us. You would think this would all be bad enough but it does not end there. There was a hole in the wall near one of the headboards big enought to stick a hand into. The bathroom had no ventilation fan resulting in peeling paint and a sauna like effect when showering. The door in the bathroom was all beat up and peeling on the door itself and around the frame. This is not what an "upscale hotel" is supposed to look like. I have stayed in motel 6's that had more class. The gym is laughable, one working cardio machine out of 3 and a weight rack that is missing 90% of its free weights. Later on the first night we called down to request a few extra blankets(none were in the closet) and were told that "if they had any one would be brought up" .... excuse me? If you have any? If I paying right at 200$ a night some one had better bring me as many blankets as I like!
Crowne Plaza was wonderful and comfortable. Didn't have any issue with the staff.
The wifi was terrible. It was so weak. Always went on and off.
The staff was really nice and the place is right beside Marta and Varsity. For the most part, I was pleased and would probably stay there again.
I did a search to find something close to Peidmont Park and this Hotel was not as close as it said on the search. The price, when I made the reservation, ended up being around $60 more at checkout time due to parking and other misc. fees/taxes that I thought were included in the initial price, when I booked it.
The location was excellent & majority of staff were excellent. The 2 receptionist, Satara & Charmaine were very helpful & extremely polite & engaging.
The morning bar staff where you get coffee next to the reception. This lady was rude, had a very bad attitude and expected a tip from a $2.50 coffee, really? This was not a one off incident as it occurred both mornings I went to get my morning coffee; she was not polite & really needs to work behind the scenes rather than outfront!
hotel has a very good location, less than 3 minutes walk to marta, and other restaurants, it seem they are under a new management
cost of parking is very high in all atlanta not only the hotel, it need an urgent remodel and has a strong humidity smell.
Loved the view of Atlanta, and bedding was nice. The attendees out front where very helpful grabbing us cabs.
There was something wrong with all the elevators one we couldn't even use bc the button didnt work for the floor we were on.On way out elevator got stuck to parking garage!!! The front desk agents don't inform you of anything but the bar and about breakfast at checkin ( no southern hospitality at all)!!! Room was not worth the money we paid to stay there plus the parking!!! Balcony no long in use was a big let down. Wifi was horrible only worked in one spot in the room and after about 5 minutes you would lose the signal.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous and the location was very central.
The state of the rooms: Mold on bathroom walls, wet carpets, nasty stains, peeling tile on bathroom floor, staining in bathtub.
Very convenient to the MARTA station. I know that Crown Plaza took over the property very recently. I saw a number of unfavorable reviews, and it appears that in general things have improved.
The bell hop service was overwhelmed when we checked out. Gave up waiting after 1 hour. I know it was the last day of a very large convention. They said 400 people were checking out that day. However, management should have anticipated this, and had the needed extra staffing. The Wi-Fi can best be described as unstable. I had to reconnect repeatedly. Even after connecting to the network port, the connection was very slow. Numerous ice machines were out of service. I had to go down two floors to get to one that worked.
Ease of check in and check out
The parking garage Is confusing. More signs need to be posted not to park at one ga. Center.
Need to upgrade upir facilities
Room was very clean and modern; bed, pillows and bedding were heavenly; direct walking access to parking; valet parking also available; dog friendly
I never got the wifi to work. I even used the ethernet cable and it still didn't work. I could've called on it, but used it as an excuse not to do work in my room. At any rate, I shouldn't have had to call on it - especially considering there was a cable in addition to the wifi.
It was conveniently close to the ATL airport. The people were nice enough too and the hotel was clean.
The fact that parking was 20 dollars and breakfast was 20 dollars a person is ridiculous. I'm already spending 150 to stay the night and on top of that I have to pay for parking and breakfast? Doesn't make sense to me.
For $100 a night it was a nice place. Room was clean and spacious, staff was helpful and friendly, food was very good.
Stayed on 17th floor and you need to run water for 10-15 minutes to get hot water for a shower (even at 5 AM) many days. (I stayed here for 5 nights and had hot water problems 3 of them). Wifi on the 17th floor gives only 1 bar. Had to use my iPhone hotspot. The hotel was bought in June by another company and hey are working to fixit up.
The comfort of the bed
The MOLD! No I didn't report it. The wait to check out was long (15 min) tops & I was soooo ready to go at the point
