Known as “the grand dame” of Atlanta’s Peachtree Street, this classically elegant hotel is across from the Fox Theatre. It features a rooftop pool, on-site dining, and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 298 reviews Excellent
In Atlanta, Georgia, this hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Turner Field, home to the Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.
Score from 468 reviews Good
Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and services, and only 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many downtown...
Score from 763 reviews Very good
Located off Interstate 285 and Interstate 75, this Atlanta hotel offers an indoor and outdoor pool and free property-wide Wi-Fi. Georgia World Congress Center is a a 20 minute drive away.
Score from 292 reviews Very good
The staff was awesome. They seemed to LIKE their jobs and did whatever they could to make our stay more enjoyable. They helped us find MARTA and other transportation. They took the time to give us accurate directions. They answered all questions we posed about traffic, getting to the airport, etc. The property is in good shape and the beds were very comfortable.
The coffee at breakfast was super strong. Almost espresso. But the buffet and the omelet bar were superior.
paying for parking
the night scene is awesome. the staffs are nice
the wi-fi is not good in room, but the lobby wi-fi is excellent
Love the essence location and staff all were very helpful... Wasn't thrilled with the buffet breakfast... Eggs were under cooked, grits weren't grits, moat of the supposed hot food was very cold other than that my stay was right on point...
good view locate in mid town pretty and clean aroma theropy
self-paid parking window quality is so bad, wind actually blew into the room and howled so laud, couldn't rest and needed to change to another room.
Close to the Foxx theatre, Aquarium, and Olympic stadium
Staff was unfriendly and uncooperative. Requested adjoining rooms and confirmed this twice prior to arrival and...not only were they not adjoining but they weren't by each other. Hot water was weak and lasted about 5 minutes. I will not be back.

Never could connect to wi go. Lady in housekeeping couldn't help but I'm not very good with electronics. We were on 8th floor and ice machine didn't work nor on floor 9 but finally found ice on 10th floor.
All was OK. Staff was really helpful and breakfast was nice. In fact i can not complain on anything. Location is nice as metro is close.
I really enjoy our greeting when we first arrived. The front desk clerk I believe his name was Ramon, was absolutely professional and very accommodating. He explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. He deserves special recognition.
I absolutely loved your dinning accommodations on the property site. The breakfast bar was delightful and room service was very timely and professional. House keeping was always accessible when we needed extra supplies.
Too much noise from the street
The view was nice
System was down all weekend took us 3 hours to check in. I assumed room came with a balcony but they lock all their balconies without telling you after you already purchased the room. Ill never book at this hotel ever again
Location-close to highway and restaurants Nice view Good check-in experience, friendly bar staff and greeters.
Bathrooms. I don't like sinks in an open area; there's a lack of bathroom privacy Cheap hotels are set up like that. No access to the balcony. What happened to cause the doors to be nailed ? Not able to check out from the room. I never check out at the desk, but was forced to at this location.
I liked that the hotel was not too far from my daughter's college.
There seemed to be alot of noise in the evening from sirens and motorcycles racing up and down the street.
Close enought to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go in Midtown this trip. Hotel has self parking which was a plus for us. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, beds weren't too bad. This place is a great value. Also the crew running the breakfast area/Resturaunt were outstanding.
Just wish we had balcony access (door was drilled shut so it couldn't be opened), but other than that we didn't have any problems.
Staff is friendly.
Self parking for guests is inconvenient and expensive. $15 a day down the street with no in and out access...all bad. Linens and towels were stained. Wi-Fi was either not working or slow to connect. Room and hallways smell like mildew.
I enjoyed the convenience of the location. The balcony view was awesome. The bathroom was very clean. The room was cool. The breakfast was aaaaammmazing! The doorman are well knowledgable of the area. Charmaine Halley is the best employee of the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown! There were two other young ladies but I dont remember there name. They worked on the morning shift of October 4th, 2014. All in all, my stay was great. Ohhhh the in room dining is so awesome. But this hotel is best for their location and service. Its 1 minute away from the train station. And just under 20minutes from most of Atlanta's attractions!
The hotel would truly be a four-star hotel if it was updated. Feels like he hasn't been modernized for a little while. The bed was truly comfortable I have no complaints about that the room was big but the furniture was awkwardly arranged and some of the fixtures were old and fragile. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel feels a little outdated, it doesn't really feel like a four-star hotel.
furnishing, staff, decor, etc.
The lobby was nice. The valet staff was nice The front desk manager was helpful and nice.
In the room the wallpaper was peeling. The bed's duvet did not have a cover and look dirty, old and worn out. For a duvet cover they put a flat bed sheet over and under it and tucked in the ends! House keeping yelled at my husband in some other language.
Cheapest possible room fittings, no noise insulation,
The rooms were clean. The staff was nice and friendly. The shower was wonderful.
Hotel charging full price while under renovation. Old Hotel still showing through. Dimly lit smoking section, chemical leaking and faulty banister in the area. Security lacking - has questionable areas (like the top floor) where anyone can wander into. Has ethernet wiring but no ethernet (come on Atlanta - wired is always better, more reliable and faster than wireless - whats up with all these wireless only hotel options?); breakfast and the bar are prohibitively expensive ($16.00 for a breakfast - crazy!). Parking solution was parasitic at best - we know that reasonable parking is insane in Atlanta, so they decide to valet the Hotel parking lot at $30.00 a pop with no in and out (pay again). The area was very unsavory, which made it dangerous to park away from the hotel, which made people feel necessary to pay exorbitant prices to valet at the hotel... Decor was in transition and garish. Otherwise the place was clean but the price was too high. They should wait until they are fully open and THEN raise the prices - as it is now they should only charge half of what they are charging.
Good price for location.
Did not get room layout requested.
This hotel was definately a complete disappointment. The house keeping staff was super friendly but the desk clerks could certainly use some work. Got the room for a Music Festival in town so luckily we did not have to spend a ton of time in the room. What we got for 199$ a night was so below par and the management should be embarrased. Where is this money going? It certainly is not contributing to the upkeep of this hotel. - We checked in and got up to room, discovered white pills in the floor near the bed skirt. Closer examination revealed they were melatonin pills(sleep aids). So are the rooms not being vacuumed? Thank goodness we are at least intelligent adults and do not consume random pills, but what if a family had checked in and a child had found them? So naturally we checked the skirt area of the other bed and sure enough have eaten candy stuck in the carpet, gross. Also we had no trashcan any where in the room and took well over an hour for them to get one to us. You would think this would all be bad enough but it does not end there. There was a hole in the wall near one of the headboards big enought to stick a hand into. The bathroom had no ventilation fan resulting in peeling paint and a sauna like effect when showering. The door in the bathroom was all beat up and peeling on the door itself and around the frame. This is not what an "upscale hotel" is supposed to look like. I have stayed in motel 6's that had more class. The gym is laughable, one working cardio machine out of 3 and a weight rack that is missing 90% of its free weights. Later on the first night we called down to request a few extra blankets(none were in the closet) and were told that "if they had any one would be brought up" .... excuse me? If you have any? If I paying right at 200$ a night some one had better bring me as many blankets as I like!
Crowne Plaza was wonderful and comfortable. Didn't have any issue with the staff.
The wifi was terrible. It was so weak. Always went on and off.
