Hotel on construcion :(
Staff is very nice, and profecional. Location.
The renovations are only for the lobby and not the rooms.
I liked the pool area
The room service only works from 5pm until 11pm. I wanted to order breakfast because it would have been faster and I couldn't. But it's pretty much the only thing I really didn't like.
The hotel is going under renovations at the moment. We're in two groups and we were allocated in one of the new bedrooms. They're very nice, modern and offer a great and comfortable area for unpacking and specially when you're sharing the room with others. Even though they were renovating, you could hear very little noise and it only began after 10am. Not disturbing at all. The mattress and bed were excellent. Very nice shower. They do offer a buffet breakfast until 11am, but it's not included on daily rates. It costs around US$ 20/pp but it was very good and it helps when you're on the run and have no time left. Location is perfect - way more central than Santa Monica - which a makes it easier and faster to get anywhere around. Besides it's a lot less crowded.
Almost all. Old building, drain doesn't work, poor wifi ,price and amenities. In the morning, the construction noise was so loud so it wasn't comfortable. And the price is too high even though all are low quality. Never back again!
By no means should this hotel be open during it's remodeling without mentioning something before booking. I would have DEFINITELY stayed elsewhere. Horrible shady business model to be hiding that from guests. -ongoing construction both indoors and outdoors -drilling at 7-8am waking me up daily -water in shower didn't even work one day from plumbing work -restaurant inside is insanely overpriced(19 for breakfast buffet, 18 for a burger -parking is 25 dollars a day, what a joke. -sinks poor drainage / clogged
Beds were comfy, that's about it,
Parking was $24 per night on top of the $290 room. No breakfast with that rate. Plastic cups/ in room. Broken lamp. Noisy with no window insulation. Much better hotels in this area. This is not a 4 star hotel. Would never stay again. Avoid!
Terrible facilities. Dirty, worn, the shower didn't drain leaving you shin height in water while showering. $290 for one night in a king room with a single bed mattress protector covering the bed. It's a shame because Crowne Plaza is a respected hotel in other countries but avoid this one in Beverly Hills!
I thought for the price that the room wasn't up to par. The towels were kindof old and the toilet ran. The tub ran out of hot water and the water pressure wasn't that great. Also the elevators took a long time - I think because one was out of commission.
It was close to where I needed to be early in the morning and since I got in late I wanted to sleep as long as possible. The person at the parking lot was very kind and helpful.
To noisy. No privicy. Needs more organzation.
Details, details -- there was no soap/shampoo in the room; coffee maker didn't work; construction in adjacent room woke me up early.
Very attentive staff in the bar.
The staff was great
Everything! The construction work went on even after several complains, no restaurant, Horrible rooms, badly lit and i can go on and on
The staff was courteous
Construction at 7am loud all day
Did not have hot water in my room! Poor infrastructure and bad assistance!
Pretty run down building, needs a substantial refurbishment - I don't think much has changed since the 60's. For the price it was definitely not worth it.
Good location, parking.
Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. The Hotel was undergoing renovations which meant that there was building noise from early in the morning. Also there was no restaurant or bar (due to the renovations). At no time before our stay were we informed that the renovations were taking place and that a lot of the hotels facilities regularly available at a hotel were not in use.
Hotel is old and rundown on the out and inside, is dirty and in a poor location!
Construction noise in the building that we had not been warned about. Elevator area's were not clean. It took about 4 minutes to get hot water in the bathroom sink and shower. No safe in room. When we got back to our room at 2:30 in the afternoon it had not been made up and we had to call housekeeping.
Concierge was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was very good
No late checkout
No hot water in the shower
Being grabbed by time share conmen before I could check in and the aggression from these people when I said no thank you, no free WIFI,
Location, Room Size
bathroom vary small . noisy
location and price
Here is like a hostel not like a 4 star hotel. People are not firendly, evrything is very old and the rooms do not smell like clean. Crowne should renew their hotel as soon as possible.
Nothing to mention.
I booked for 5 nights but left the hotel after the first night. The room is dirty, the bed sheets are dirty, the bathroom is tiny and barely fits an adult. The AC was not cooling at all and the room had a bad smell. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone at all. Disaster!
Location and that's it.
It wasn't professional on the part of the hotel to give us a room on a floor on which they are doing work as it was quite noisy on one early morning especially. Also I was travelling with a colleague who came from Lebanon and they would not let her in the room even after I confirmed her name as she arrived before me. Expensive buffet breakfast and no option for a la carte food.
I like the fact that they tried to help by offering to change the room then giving us a small discount.
