Score from 28 reviews Wonderful
The unruly guests during our stay. IN fact, my brother was woken up in the middle of the night and jumped in the hallway because he was asking the unruly guests to quite down. It's not the hotel's fault but the hotel staff could have provided him something for this.
everything was beautiful
Entire staff was very accommodating and courteous. We were upgraded instantly without asking. We would not stay anywhere else.
Everything except closet doors.
Closet doors won't stay open.
I liked that the handicap room was very accessible as advertised and they even had a shower bench which I wasn't expecting.
There was very minimal handicap parking and there was a lot of people parked there that did not even have a handicap placard.
Staffs were very friendly and service was good too
Bed was kinda sqeaky.
The room was comfy and clean, the staff was friendly when we checked in.
We were woken up at 1 am to prove that we had a reservation. The front desk let the phone ring for twenty minutes and threatened to remove us from the hotel. They were spelling my name wrong. They didn't ask for identification when we checked in either. I feel like there should have been a better way to handle the situation.
Great location, and great service, the staff upgraded us to the executive floor due to a huge group of youth hockey players staying there. Great breakfast buffet.
WiFi was a bit spotty.
The breakfast was outstanding
The beds were so comfortable and the room was good sized. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.
This had nothing to do with the hotel itself but both nights we stayed there were very loud people on our floor.
A/c system was too noisy
We added a day to our stay and we had to check out and than back in the next day. Although I was assured that they we be contained when I checked in also they tried charging one of my rooms a higher charge thanks goodness had my copy of booking with me needs new management also don't know law on service animals
Staff staff staff slow and confused
Smartly located next to Sticky Lips BBQ 8 miles south of downtown Rochester. I prefer here rather than downtown. Mall is basically next door, and it's beautiful here. Will stay here whenever I return. Indoor pool. Workout room. Close to freeway.
HBO didn't work.
A very poor breakfast
Staff was accommodating and courteous. Shuttle to and from the airport was prompt and comfortable.
Rooms very clean
The hotel is in a good location. 10 - 15 minutes away from the zoo and the Rock n Roll hall of fame. Easy on/off to the interstate. Can't walk to anything but good restaurants within 2-5 miles drive of the hotel. Staff was really nice. Shuttle to airport on time. This made me laugh - they had a curtain clip to hold the curtains together. "Sleep advantage drape clip". Even has their logo on it.
There was no fridge in the room. I've stayed at other Crowne Plaza hotels and there has always been a fridge in the room. I guess I shouldn't have assumed. The hallways were noisy. Not the hotels fault, obviously. Though I thought doors would have filtered some of the noise. Thank you to the drunk guest, who on the night of August 19 decided the yell in the 3rd floor hallway. Thanks for waking everyone up!
The staff, the cleanliness of the room, the location, the upgrade to the executive floor. Wonderful treat for us.
The in room complimentary Wi-fi and the on demand movies. There was a coffee maker that had decent coffee, and nice shampoo, lotion, etc. Room Service and breakfast were good also.
Parking is too far from the front desk, the facilities seem run down and in need of TLC. Our room wasn't as clean as I would have expected from a hotel of this price level.
The staff was nice. We checked in late. But the staff we saw were kind.
I have stayed at some Crown Plaza Hotels before. This was the first leg on our trip to be married in a state other than where we live. We have an 11 year old son. One of the reasons we booked was the picture of the pool. It looked pretty amazing. However, all was not as advertised. The room was teeny. The pool did not live up to the picture on the website. It seemed like it could be a nice place but it appeared to be a "fixer.upper"... The paint was chipping off the walls in the hallways, the bathroom was dirty, the decor was outdated. As I said, it seemed like it could be a nice place, But we booked it on the what the name of the Crown Plaza Hotel would bring. My husband and I are in the service industry. He is a musician and a sous chef at a private school. I have been a bartender and manager for 15 years. I believe this place can be great. But the way it was advertised and the amount we paid was non-congruent. If you have any further questions or wish to remedy the situation we would be pleased to talk. Thankyou for your time. We were upgraded to the "5th floor" and it was fantastic, the room was very spacious and the furniture was nice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very nice as well. The evening reception was very nice as well. Breakfast buffet was tasty and staff was great!
Just picking here because there was not really anything to complain about but the drinks in the vending machines were not cold. The parking was kind of a pain for loading and unloading the car but certainly nothing that would keep me away. Really nice place compared to our other Cleveland experiences for sure!
WI FI kept cutting out
All the staff extremely friendly. Good kitchen closing times. And we got no attitude for calling for room service 15mins before kitchen closed. Food was delcious. Enjoyed stay. Decor was out dated so if the modern look is your appeal, you may not like. But I found it had character and loved it the older style.
The elevator had a horrid sqeak. Which was slightly freaky.
The staff in the restaurant were not friendly or doing their job except for one man. He had to do everything. The others didn't even smile.
