Score from 253 reviews Very good
Excellent staff, clean facilities, location
Price of parking, having to reset wifi daily
Staff Was friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean, although the hallway on floor 14 smelled musty.
Don't waste your money at the hotel restaurant. We had dinner one night and the buffet breakfast the next day. I had a salad which isn't hard to mess up, my husband had fettuccine Alfredo and our daughter had spaghetti. Chefboyardee out of a can tastes better than what they served. Breakfast was just ok, not much flavor.
good for transport , buses & trains from airport , west end bus hub beside hotel, train stop across from hot, but arrive in day light if possible ??, and very good for the ,J.F.K. tourist items .
don't arrive at this hotel in the dark, because of the major transport hub, right beside the hotel, also " ROSA PARKS SQUARE" I also requested a balcony room, this was refused as hotel was full I was told ?? hotel was empty 15th to 18th September 2014., room very small, this was the smallest room and bed ever in the states, thought I was in a blackpool boarding house, very poor for the crowne plaza group
front desk lost the fact I was staying there on the second day. After my key was inactive, I went to the front desk and got the "...well, Mr. x you're not staying with us". Now they did figure it out and gave me a night for free.
Everything was good. Staff helpful, location good and complimentory shuttle to the mall and nearby places.
The price was good compared to other downtown hotels.
The blankets and sheets weren't very comfortable. Wasn't too impressed with the carpet either.
Location Helpful & friendly staff Quiet for location
Close to lots of great restaurants and shopping
The location was decent, the parking attendant was awesome and check in and out was quick.
There was a used tooth brush in our room and the rooms were a bit cramped with very few outlets to charge devices off of.
The parking, no validation had to pay $16.00 for parking. The beds were way too hard, didn't get a restful nights sleep. Bathroom was very small.
The hotel was close to the downtown area of Dallas. It's only a few blocks walk from Dealey Plaza and other landmarks. The shuttle service is really handy to go restaurants and landmarks that are a bit further away. The room was of good quality and very clean. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the Dallas downtown the I would highly recommend this hotel.
Close to DART so it's easily accessible from airport, most things in walking distance, large room
There should be a fridge in the room and besides coffee also tea, otherwise all o.k.
Location, view, elevators.
room not ready 3pm checkin, at 5:15pm. Request for extremely blocked sink, sent an "engineer" but never unblocked. Seems trivial, but left an impression.
Convenient to Dealey Plaza as well as The Presidential Library and restaurants. Staff was amazing and everyone asked how your stay was including the maintenance guy getting on the elevator with us. Room was clean and comfortable
No fault of the hotel but I was not prepared for the numerous amount of people hanging around the streets and DART train station around the hotel. As far as the hotel goes the only negative thing I have to say is the bathrooms are really small
Old hotel, way too many young people for a swim party ( not guest) Bar closed at 9 pm Housekeepers nocking on the door at 8 am on a holiday weekend!!!
I enjoyed the location being close to 6th Floor Museum and other activities. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Public transportation was close by to take us to our destinations.
The beds were hard. The restaurant staff was oblivious to the # of people at the hotel that were there for an event and weren't prepared to accommodate us for breakfast. They tried hard, we all got fed, but it was awkward.
Location was great
Our room was on a non smoking floor but the whole floor smelled like stale cigarettes. Also our air conditioner in our room was extremely loud.
walking distance to many attractions and services; very spacious and comfortable
breakfast was plentiful but not very fresh or appetising with the exception of the fresh fruit; no safe
Rooms were nice
Pool area needs to be refurbished. Furniture ok but needs cleaned, lots of bird muck on it. Also some sun loungers would be a good addition.
Convenient to all major spots, and transportation. Some rooms have small fridge, microwave. Comfort of beds and cleanliness of rooms. Staff do give attention to needs of customers when needed and do their best. Value for money. Free internet and copying.
Balcony room: when it rained, there were crickets that got into the room through the cracks of balcony door. Many were on the bed (even while you sleep), floor, walls, curtains and in the bathroom. There were over 50 counted. Had to change rooms. No free breakfast.
The homey feel, very space full rooms, and at cheap rates
The shower head could not be adjusted and was too short for my height
chose hotel bc of pool disappointed that it was not high did not realize it was roof top of parking garage
Very clean, friendly employees convient location
No parking need to park in parking garage at an added expense to trip
wifi free ,location and bed
not very clean
The room itself was quiet and from what I remember the WiFi was fine, if a little slow.
Booked at this hotel because booking.com listed king rooms available. Arrived to find our booking changed to two beds - and they were not even queen-sized, but double. Parking was extra $14 each exit, and this hotel was in an area I would rather not walk through. The breakfast buffet was poor - hard, dry French toast and soggy pancakes, with stale cereal as a last resort. There was an odd smell in the floor we were on and the room itself did not look to be in the best repair.
