Crowne Plaza Hotel Dallas Downtown    

The beds were good.

This is an overpriced, overrated 4-star hotel. The bathrooms need to be remodeled, the closet doors were off their old, rusty hinges. I had an iron that was old and barely working.

People in the reception are very kind and cooperative.

My keys did not work twice, which caused me embarassement in the lift

The lobby and the location

The room was awful for Crown Plaza. I usually love staying at these hotels, but I was very disappointed in the cleanliness and decor of the room.

The room was not what we ordered on our confimation, we wanted (needed) 2 beds only got one, with a roll away and we got a handicap room (hope no else needed it), couple of the towels dirty and the floor in bathroom was dirty.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was clean. Close to Deep Ellum.

The breakfast tasted great but some of it was cold.

The hotel was just fine for our over-night stay. Good value. Convenient to where we were going.

We picked the wrong weekend -there was a girls sports team all over the hotel and they were running all over the floor we were on cheering, yelling, talking from room to room with their doors open, talking on cell phones out in the hall. We called the front desk to complain but don't think it worked, didn't quiet down til at least 3 A.M., so not a restful night for this "mature couple". Luck of the draw, I guess. Not the hotel's fault at all!

Dallas' downtown is dead (not something you can immediately correct) also: you have plumbing problems - leaky faucet in bath, loose faucet in shower, slow flushing toilet

Price was very good for that location. Nice view and balcony.

They charged the wrong value for the time we stayed there

The location was great.

The AC in our first room was hot and terribly loud so at 12:30 am I requested a room change. We were given a handicap accessible room which lacked the amenities we paid for in the first room. AC in this room was also running a warm too. We has it set to 68 and were still sweating in bed.

Joe, the concierge!!! He knows all around the hotel. The room looks little bit old, but was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Only some minutes from the 6th floor museum.

First girl I encountered at reception was very uninterested in us. I made an effort not to deal with her again and everyone else was lovely.

Staff could not be less friendly or helpful. We were treated like we tried to rob the place when we tried to check in at 2:45. When we tried to get some advice on things to see or do - the staff had absolutely no idea.

The balcony was my favorite part. And the location is perfect when going to a concert at the American Airlines Center. We rode the hotel shuttle to the concert and walked back to the hotel afterword. It was a mile long walk but it just didn't seem that far at the time :-)
