too small, not enough equipment, too hot
we did not receive house keeping services on the one day we were there.
We loved the attention of the front desk staff, security, wait people in the bar, and the bellman who parked our car. All were very accommodating and gracious.
I liked the comfort of the room, staff and the coupons for free breakfast in the very nice top floor restaurant.
Parking wasn't ideal, but probably par for downtown hotel locations. I was disappointed there was no exercise bike in the fitness center as I have foot issues and a bike is my only means of cardio exercise
Convenient location near to street of bars and restaurants with live music.
Buffet breakfast on weekends Drink prices in bar seemed steep
Room and Bathroom are clean, nice linens and sheets. Had dinner at their restaurant and food was fantastic! Buffet breakfast spread was delightful, too.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and clean. When we had questions the staff responded quickly and very willing to help. The restaurant on the rooftop was amazing. We had a great stay!
Friendly desk staff at check-in. Bed comfortable and nice mini-fridge in decent sized room ("but Bathroom is SMALL"). Hotel is next to small park area. Also located not too far from Art Institute which was nice and Air Force Museum also only 10-12 minutes away. But not sure I would stay here again due to area.
Bathrooms are SMALL, also need to upgrade towels and room decor. Parking down the street in garage is a pain and not the safest of scenarios, but could have valet parked for extra $$ in front of hotel. Elevator issues, very slow and one always seemed not to be working. Wasn't allowed to use cart for bags at check-out without calling for bellman. Lastly, there is almost nothing but banks in downtown Dayton anymore, really not much available to do at all in immediate area. Would suggest staying near one of the area Universities or near the Air Force Base instaed of downtown.
Staff were friendly
Area is a bit run down. Not really much in the neighbourhood to see.
The Rooftop bar was nice.
Only stayed one night so I can't really judge that much but it had easy access to freeway and easy to find. Convenient parking
The bed was position that when the A/C kicked on it would blow directly in your face. Didn't like the way you had to go outside of the hotel to get to the pool. There seemed to be only one staff member on duty that actually knew what he was doing at the time of check in therefore slowed the check in time down and it wasn't busy.
We make a reservation for 9 pax for lunch on May 4 and the table was far from ready
Obliging & very helpful staff.
Staff, free breakfast, clean
location was fair
Staff were extremely friendly
Dirty room -carpet. Noisy room due to the train station,
It was a nice place, the food was very good. The staff was very friendly.
Way over priced!
the first night they had live music and dancing.
could not get the free breakfast delivered to our room as shown in the picture.
Lobby was leaking water ,very old furniture ,bed was broken, staff not friendly several days nobody from valet staff available.
Got a voucher for a free breakfast but at the restaurant in the morning i was told that only coffee is included.
The lounge and room service were excellent
The hotel was newly remodeled and everything seemed clean and nice. The free restaurant breakfast was excellent.
Unfortunately, even when everything else goes right, one slip can really sour one on a place. We stayed on the twelfth floor. In the morning when we were ready to leave, the elevators weren't working. We stood waiting for quite a while, and another couple and a woman said they had been waiting 5-7 min. Already. We finally gave up and walked (with our luggage) twelve stories down the steps. When I informed the desk staff, they made expressions of boredom and said, "Yeah. We don't know what is going on. We'll call the elevator company." Really? A group of guests have all walked down twelve stories of steps with all of their luggage, and the staff is so poorly trained that nowhere in the conversation do they think to utter something like, "I'm sorry for your inconvenience?" There was no concern whatsoever. So, despite an otherwise very nice stay, we left the hotel swearing under our breath and angry that the desk staff were so indifferent to our considerable inconvenience.
It was close to where we needed to be.
Room was poorly lite and very cold.
Cleanliness of room Quiet stay
It was a little difficult finding a place to eat.
Efficient, helpful staff, good restaurant, excellent breakfast.
Parking across the road in a commercial parking garage (but free to guests).
