The carpet on common areas smells like wet dog. The elevator is even worse
The bartender Javier was very efficient and gave us excellent customer service!
Very good hotel
Free shuttle transportation in the area
We loved everything about the hotel but the bed!
The bed was like sleeping on a slab of granite!
Pleasant smiling staff Good bathroom with lots of counter space, and a good shower Beds were comfortable A nice surprise to have a refrigerator Plenty of outlets for charging
The staff, especially Lee at the front desk, was very helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. It was great to see a recycle bin in the rooms. Great going!
While the bed was fine, there were way too many pillows and none were comfortable. All were soft. I had to buy a firm pillow to be able to sleep the second night. The drain in the one of the bathroom sinks drained very slowly. There was very little space to put toiletries on the pedestal sinks. A countertop across the double sinks would have been very useful. The small stand in the bathroom was already filled with items like the hairdryer, tissues box, glasses, etc.
We were leaving the next morning for the airport. It is true this was the last room available, but it was terribly overpriced and they told us it was because it was the last room available. The view of the small window was of a roof with vents and it was dark. It looked like a spare room for which we paid $600 for a night. Not the quality I would expect from this hotel chain.
Attractive lobby; fruit infused water in lobby; pool area
Non hotel guests (local residents) using the pool. Suggestion: require hotel key to access pool.
Friendly staff Good location
Very basic Gym Extremely overpriced - $400 a night for a very average hotel
It's relatively a nice hotel. The restaurant food is good. The hotel is on el camino real so it's close to everything Palo Alto. We were going to Stanford, so we were pleased with location. The tower, and rooms with balconies, and good views of the large sized pool got me excited when we were going to our room.
We were located way in the back, in the two story, door open to the outside type rooms. The rooms in the 4-5 story building up front, with balconies and pool view seemed great. We weren't there. Booking.com description said pool view. Reality, smallest sliver of pool view. More like view of the pool gate. $12 a night to park outside our room. Hmm. Last, I chose the room because of the queen size beds. They weren't queens they were fulls. Not really that comfortable. Place has potential. Hotel was clearly not full. Felt like we got the special deal room in the back.
I got an excellent rate with Booking.com.This is a decent place with comfortable beds.
Certain things were odd- I had to ask 3 times to get shampoo for example. The hotel with motel is a bit tired- or at least the motel rooms at the back are, but they good size. The open-to-the outside on both ends design did not feel as safe as the hotel might have. The hotel provided coffee in the morning in the lobby but it was horrid. A buffet was $16 for breakfast, and I decided against it when I watched the staff stack pastries on a tray with their bare hands.
Walk to stanford
The front desk staff were very friendly when something was wrong with our room. They immediately moved us.
Charles at the front desk was very nice.
They accommodated us very well to entertain seven additional family members for a birthday meal with no advanced warning. They did not object to our very active small grandhildren even though an event had obviously been planned in the outside space we shared nor to the birthday cake we broght with us. This is our third stay for family get togethers and all have been excellent. We left medicine behind in the fridge and did not realise it until we got home. They had kept it safe until a family member could pick it up.
We had no dislikes at all.
convinient parking outside our room. General manager took a personal interest.
This hotel has a very good location and is quite comfortable and quiet.
I did not like the fact that despite the high price the parking of my car was charged 10 USD/day.
Very friendly staff. Responsive service. Clean and useful public areas. Beautiful room. Front desk staff was excellent.
Remarkably clueless housekeeping staff left glass smeared, garbage can in kitchen full for 6 days, coffee either missing or delivered in packets that didn't fit our machine.
Drive to the cancer center Palo Alto
They but us and my aunt that is stage 4cancer in very bad room They were working out by door cleaning a storage room unable to sleep in They the deck person didn't seem to car only one robe no slippers Left unhappy.
Front desk employee Dan arranged a really quiet room for me.
First room I stayed in was 220. I woke up from the airco unit (which makes sound even when it's off) and people on the treadmill in the gym just below. Was told by front desk I would get a new room end of day, but didn't happen. Luckily Dan arranged this swiftly when I asked.
Comfortable beds Good shower
Noisy airconditioning Drafty room
Convenient location to Googleplex (meetings there). Friendly staff. Clean, functional rooms. Did not use pool.
Rates a bit high when I stayed vs. value. But, good, comfortable place to stay.
Wife said this was the most comfortable bed/ pillows she has had in a hotel
Room had a lot of exterior noise
No view. No info given at front desk about hotel amenities.
