The elevators too small!
The location, staff, and cleanliness
The snack shop really didn't offer much.
Not really in the Galleria area but it was only a hop, skip, and a jump away. The location was perfect. It was about 15 minutes from Minutemaid Park and NRG
No shuttle to downtown area!
Good, basic services & facility.
not quit near the road internet not that good
clean big room
Decor, room service
My bed I reserved was not available
Everything was well organized.
The view out our window was highway of traffic. The "security" at night was dead asleep in his car in a corner of parking lot.
Bed and pillows were like clouds in heaven. Room service was quick and tasty. Front desk very friendly & helpful. We asked cleaning lady if she could just vacuum,, she made our bed, changed trash... it was nice to walk in after long day.
Our room was on freeway side was rather noisy
The cleanliness and the bed was so comfortable
Wifi was spotty, dropped
I didn't receive a voucher for my free breakfast until I was leaving the breakfast and was asked to pay for it. FYI, if you have a room where breakfast is not included then it comes out to $30 for two people to eat. Although I had a room that excused me from paying, its quite expensive. I must admit, the breakfast is not gourmet at all to be that pricey! We opted for ihop instead.
Clean Not too many children staying (that night) Decor
The manager and 1 of the front desk staff on duty the day I was to check in both had a foul attitude. I had booked for a king bed room and found myself given a double bed room, imagine coming from a 16 hour flight, the last thing you need is an environment that you did not envision, so I call reception from the room to complain and the guy who checked me in tells me "if you can come down and show me where it says on your reservation king bed I'll gladly change it for you." So I come down with my proof and he goes "well there was a miscommunication from the booking portal you used" so whose fault is that???? Do I work with either of the two your hotel and booking portal??? No! So all I expected the manager to do when he comes out as a result of my insistence and also i know they get to deal with clients from all parts of the world every day so i assume he must possess some level of good customer relation and apologise as well as ease the situation, but what does he do no; he gestures I lower my voice and he will be glad to give me a full refund! And am like is this guy for real??? no apology and he thinks he's doing his employer a great favour??? well he just lost his hotel group a Client and of course all my friends who ask bout them, and am a gold card carrying member of IHG. Well am glad he acted that way cos I wouldn't have discovered the beautiful hotel apartment I now call home away from home. The Hyatt house...truly heavenly and the staff are the best trained in the industry. This is the only place I will stay at from now whenever am in Houston so for that I say a BIG Thank you Crown Plaza the Galleria, for helping me discover my new home away from home.
Didn't get a chance to like anything
Hot water did not seem to last long.
The room was great, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and always available to help in any way they could.
I didn't like the outdoor pool area. It should be indoor
The breakfast buffet was awesome!
it is too noisy in the rooms on the road side
The carpet looked dirty and old
The location is close from Ikea and Galleria mall
The pillows were uncomfortable due to the plastic casing on them and too soft. I understand this is a hygiene precaution but did detour from restful sleep.
The hotel was well maintained and tastefully decorated. I was pleased to have free parking however difficult to find depending on the time of day.
the name galleria is a little misleading, this should be just called I-10 IKEA LOCATION
I Dont like to much The pillows but The rest was EXCELLENT
The hotel was very comfortable
Breakfast has enough options, but is of low quality. Food in general is not in sync with rest of hotel.
Cleaning was very good
BATH TUB DIDN'T DRAIN WELL. PART OF THE REGISTRATION STAFF DIDN'T KNOW HIS JOB VERY WELL. THE IRON IN THE ROOM MALFUNCTIONED. IRONING BOARD WASN'T IN GOOD CONDITION, SAME WITH COFFEE MACHINE.
LOCATION AND PRICE.
everything was great !
No safe box in the room
Free parking and free wifi
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff members were nice and helpful. Our room was exactly as described and matched the pictures online exactly. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!!
Location is NOT in the Galleria, rather, it's on I-10, several miles away. Don't understand how they can claim this is a Galleria property, as it's definitely not!
Typical CP offerings, usual standards, fast check-in and clean
