Clean and comfortable room. The location was convenient to the freeway and there were restaurants within walking distance of hotel.
Nice hotel and location
Our case was tampered with while in hotel storage room. Waiting for response from hotel insurance company.
Good size room and pleasant staff.
We upgraded to Club level but (1) they didn't have our reservation as a club level room and (2) there was no benefit as there was currently no club lounge.
Loved it will definitely be coming back very soon....It was our first time and everything about was perfect. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they upgrade our room to a suite
The welcome, the smooth transition for a late evening arrival, help given all along the way. A lovely breakfast and such a short ride to our cruise line. We had no worries or concerns, a good night's rest and all as a result of a recommendation from a friend who had stayed a few weeks earlier. Thank you. Cynthia
The location suited our purpose as we were on a cruise
Perfect location for the cruise terminal with a free shuttle!
The room service menu could have a bit more choice
Room quiet and clean.
Very poor behavior of the front desk: except the young man on the evening. It is written on the room: lunch until 11PM. But impossible to eat something after 10h30 because the "kitchen is closed". When we arrived, we need some help to carry luggage on the room, but the man on the front desk said us the valet was gone... No help for us, he did not want help us or call the valet... Finally, I began to be upset and a miracle the valet has arrived ! On the morning, the woman on the front desk was very unpleasant.
Staff was super friendly
The hotel is close to the Port of Los Angeles and they had complementary van service to the port. We liked that.
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Wait staff was slow.
location to the world center
slightly over priced
room service is good.
valet parking is not good, regret to choose valet parking.
I like the fact that the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro is in close proximity to LA but far enough away to avoid LA traffic.
Location, service, lounge & restaurant staff were the greatest.
Need shuttle from Airport.
Not free parking. No free WI FI.
Room was very clean and nice. We were able to get a same day good rate on line. Value for room was great. Buffet breakfast included in room rate that we booked. Check in staff very nice and helpful.
We had a nice stay and would stay again, but here are some comments. There was only one pod of caffinated coffee in the room (enough for only one cup). Also water shower temps only warm with very low water pressure. There was a issue of teens partying in hall in middle of the night. A guard who came up seemed unsure how to efficiently diffuse the situation. His communications on the radio asking for advice were as loud as the teens.
Close to the Cruise Terminal
Food in Dining Room was over priced. Very noisy in Dining Room from Bar Crowd, could hardly carry on a normal conversation.
The carpet in the room was very dirty and smelled very bad. No continental breakfast :(
Location next to ports.
No fridge, smallish fir total of $157. for one night. And, Booking.com should say at booking time, what the travel taxes are not heroism. There were about $23 extra dollars charged in taxes at checkout time. Not a good deal at all.
The bed was comfy
The free wifi connected, but no Internet? No fridge in the room, an extra $10 fee would be charged. I had a very garlicky pizza that I wanted to refrigerate, so they "comped" me a fridge which didn't work very well. There was a loud rumbling overhead until 11:30 pm (I was on the 6th floor). I had to call the front desk a number of times to get things straightened out & finally gave up.
For those who want a lovely place to stay before heading to the sea on a cruise, this hotel is definitely a precursor to the luxuries you may expect. The rooms are immaculate, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure happiness of each guest. I have a severe disability, and use a service dog. They were very kind to my dog, despite their "no pets" policy. In fact, we were placed in a suite up on the Club Floor, where not only we would be more comfortable, but our dog would be less distracted by other guests. Few hotels understand that about service animals, and it made an enormous impact on us. There are also little cafes, bistros, and the distance to the bayfront shopping area made the location ideal. The beach is only moments away. With fisherman selling their wares directly at the harbor gateway, there are several restaurants that are well worth visiting that take in the view of the harbor as well as protect you from the leering snatching beaks of the cranes and seagulls. The concierge went above the call of duty when a very anxious dog had to find a tree, and missed his mark-- she was quick to dismiss the matter as "overexciting the dog" and cleaned up his accident without any fuss- which also made it a nice change from many hotels. Mosts guests appeared to be from overseas, waiting to join cruises. I noted the staff spoke several languages. The one other thing that made the view, the comfort, and the quiet of the hotel special was that there was a television shoot going on just a few blocks away, so Hollywood moments were just there for the enjoyment.
The gift store wasn't part of the hotel, and rented space. Whomever works there obviously isn't a fan of their job, and made it abundantly clear they didn't care if they made a sale or not as long as you left quickly.
